  Just a 3min walk from Pratunam market it is a great location for wholesale shoppers in Bangkok. The hotel is beaing fixed and it bothered me a little with smell of paint in my room but nothing dangerous. Staff very friendly and I first staied in a room facing the street and there was too much traffic noice so I asked to be mooved to a garden view and no noice there.

  Frábært hótel í alla staði. Mjög kurteist og hjálpsamt starfsfólk, mjög hreint og snyrtilegt. Skipt um handklæði á hverjum degi.

  Going to Bangkok as two semi-budget travelers, we didn't consider this as cheap, but as many hostels were of the same price range, we decided to take the hotel, mostly for the chance of a good bed, more security and proximity to Khao San Road. Apart from the WiFi being a bit shaky (but to same level as many other hotels in South East Asia) and dirty slippers in the bathroom, everything was pretty much sufficient to our standards. The bed was comfortable enough, the hotel staff was friendly and more than ready to help with anything, a convenience store was in the same street and also an Internet Cafe. No problem finding it coming from Khao San Road, going up the street from KSR (western end), the hotel being placed on the opposite bank of the next canal - merely a five minute walk. Only downside was, being a backpacker, we missed staying with all the other backpackers on Khao San Road, but returned anyway for a second stay a week later, equally as enjoyable.

  Nice staff - skytrain is just 3 mins away, so the location is solid. Breakfast was just fine. Good price. So, I'm pretty happy after that one night stay.

  Me and my husband selebrated my husbands 40 year old birthday in Bangkok. This was our first trip to Thailand and I have to say that staying at Hansar were one of the things that maked this trip incrediable. For the first was the service, top score and the comfortness at the hotelroom was really good. Location was also great, just 15 to 20 minutes walk to the "center". We had dinner the last night at Boca, the restaurant at the hotel, and I have to say that the only negative was that it was to bright in there and a little bit to café-style for me. Missed the candlelights. Altough my husband do recomend the waquu beef burger!Oh and also I do thing that at a 5 star hotel there should be fresh orange juice at the breakfast buffet. But other than that, this hotel is really worth every penny.... Our special thanks goes to mr. Ong in the lobby. He quided us thruw the city and really recomended great restaurants and places to see. We will definatly come back to this amazing city and stay at Hansar!!! Solveig and Kristjan from Iceland
