There are escalators and walkways that allow one to easily walk from your room to the Top of the Pru, great shopping, and Legal Seafood. We got a large room with a great view of Boston and across the river to Cambridge -- and at least half the rooms have that view so try for it. Copley Square is great. So many great Boston sites just a short walk away. I was very impressed by the service. I had heard glowing reviews of the view. I had booked a Riverview room through Hotels.com, but when my family got there, they had run out of them (over Memorial Day weekend). Then the front desk offered a "Cityview" and gave us free breakfasts […] (which were really really great). But maybe I could have gotten a higher room. Floors go up to 36. We parked at 100 Claredon. "Great location and above-average service"
I loved the location, great access to wonderful shopping and restaurants and the T. Friendly and professional check-in, friendly staff all around. Everyone was helpful. Two, minor complaints: bed pillows need to be improved/replaced (two of four stunk, but we did not complain or give Westin a chance to replace with new pillows as we were simply too […] busy); and, valet parking overnight is outrageously expensive, more than any other hotel we've ever stayed at (but, we knew this going in). "Great location - standard convention type hotel"
You can't beat the location of this hotel. Across the street from the amtrak station, a close walk to the convention center and the great shops and restaurants on newberry street With that said, the hotel is a big concrete structure from the outside, it is easy to overlook since there is no big entrance and the name is not obviously placed. I am a starwoods […] point member and they upgraded me to a lovely jr. suite with great views. The room was quite nice however it smelled moldy. I"m not sure how that is since I was on the 17th floor. I was struck by this each and every time i came in the room. I would have changed if i was staying more than one night. "Perfect"
Our rooms couldn't have been more comfortable and beautiful. I often feel that I don't get a good room until after I arrive and ask for a better room; not here. Both rooms had spectacular views. "A Bit Long in the Tooth"
I have stayed here a few times over the last 15 years. It is in an excellent location. The rooms are just fine, standard Marriot or Sheraton type. Tiny bathrooms, with shower in the tub, which is always less than optimal. We arrived late in the night with ourkids to an executive suite -- the mean lady next door immediately got up to berate us for being […] noisy -- the doors are horrible and you can hear everything! The pool area has no locker and the pool itself could just as well be in a medical rehab facility -- no charm at all!In its day it was a 4 star property with a 5 star location. By today's standards, it is a 3-star property with a 4.5 star location, as there are so many more options even closer to Boston Common now. I will only go back if there are no other choices. "good hotel for family"
overall, stay was very pleasant. the coffee and coffee cups were not replaced after previous guest. also, there was water cap and dust in bathroom floor lastly, comforter cover had an unpleasant stain. When we booked room I was under impression that we had 2 queen size beds however, we had 2 full size beds which is small for 2 tall adults. We loved […] the convenience of the location!! "Outdated, awful service, smells like old fish."
OK when you roll up to a hotel and their front desk is located inside the bar and the first question they ask you is "would you like to participate in our new 'green program' for a $5.00 a day discount in the restaurant? You choose to 'tidy up' after yourself. And If you need fresh items in your mini bar or fresh towels you can call room service..." […] RUN! Thats not green - that's just plain lazy and kinda gross especially in the throws of Flu season. I spent my entire stay wondering who before me had "chosen" not to have maid service? I get that hotels have to renovate - but there has to be some class with it, there is none here. The service is dreadful and slow - it took almost 2 hours to get out bags from the bellman. The restaurant is stale old food. Worse - they charge $45.00 a day to park but don't tell you until you check out. As a travel agent - I would NEVER recommend this hotel to my clients! "Wonderful stay!"
Went on a short vaca with two young children. The hotel was surprisingly family friendly. Pool was great, staff were very helpful, room was immaculate. "Large and comfortable room with a great view"
We spent an overnight at the Westin with our grandchildren who are nine and six. Our room had two double beds with wonderfully comfortable mattresses. The children loved the pool. My wife loved the fitness room. We all enjoyed the fact that the Westin is attached to walkways and bridges that allow indoor strolling through malls, restaurants, and a food […] court. The staff at the counter and concierge table were very helpful. We were in Boston on a snowy, windy, and cold day, but the valet parking minimized our exposure to the elements. "Great Hotel - But Expensive"
I did enjoy the hotel. It was very clean but they charged $47 per night for parking and $13 per night for in room Wi-Fi. I just thought that was expensive. I only stayed at this hotel since my girlfriends job fair was there. Had I been more familiar with the area, I would have probably stayed at the Hyatt near by. The Hyatt had a bus service from the […] airport to the hotel, but the Westin Copley did not. Again, just thought a hotel this expensive would have provided that. I will give them credit. "very good experience"
My kids and I spent one night at the hotel. They loved it. There was a movie the night we got there, with pop corn and beverages. They even let us bring in the food we had ordered in the restaurant because we were kind of late. Swimming pool and attached mall was a big plus too.Ósvikin umsögn gests á Hotels.com

I stayed at the Westin Copley Place 8 years ago, and the infrastructure is in decline. Bathrooms do not ventilate, leaving peeling paint and foggy mirrors. I attended a conference and would not recommend it for that purpose to others (7th floor small conference rooms in particular were like sweaty lockers, the air handling was so poor).
