This hotel is fine but not great. The rooms are spacious and clean. The airconditioning was not great and the sleepless comfort mattress were really uncomfortable beacause they didn´t work and the highest point in the bed was the middle. The swimmingpool is great and we really liked the free parkingspace. The only thing that we were really disapointed with was the free breakfast buffet. Really little to choose from and often it ran out and you had to wait for more. The last two days we went to have breakfast outside the hotel. But overall this hotel is nice and fine but not great.

Bathroom basin had no coutertop to put cosmetics case, toothbrush, etc. We were charged for valet parking service for two nights. We were only there for one night. However, when we telephoned about it, the desk said we would be credited on our charge card.

The in- room TV. Such a luxurious room and resort should have interactive flat screen TVs. Not the fat 1990s tvs. Come on people!

"Pacific Palms- Nice Hotel and relaxing, BUT......"
We entered into the hotel and it was very nice and attractive. LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING The problems occured when the jaccuzi did not work, and there was no tennis court as shown on the website pictures, also there were GIANT cockroaches in our bathtub and bathroom floor in the middle of the night, which made me consider the condition of their kitchen […] because I ordered room service. I brought up these matters with a front desk attendant by the name of V_______ when she called me because she forgot to charge me for a sandwich we ordered I told her I would post this online but still, she told me she was terribly sorry and there was nothing she could do. "Just expectacular"
This place was very beautiful with the best service ever. Has wonderful yet scrumptious restaurants to eat at. We loved it there, especially the view. It was very quiet and comfy. I highly recommend this resort.

Great staff, very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is quite nice with to fabulous golf courses on site. I love to play with just my partner, because I am still learning, and they were fine with that. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

the front desk service was really bad. When I was trying to check in with hotels.com confirmation paper in hand. They first said that I was not booking with them and it took about half hours to get me the key finally. And front desk people said that Im ok to park temporary in the front door, but the front door man was pushing me to move the car even […] though I was just needing to check in. "Great Place To Stay"
The hotel is excellent and at a great price. The ENTIRE staff is extremely courteous, friendly and always willing to help in any way possible. The golf courses are beautiful and the pro shop staff A#1. The driving range is also a big plus. I highly recomend this hotel.

"One Noisy Night"
I stayed one night with my husband for Thanksgiving. The room itself is very clean and comfortable. However, the sound travels very easily through the walls and door. During our stay, there was a church retreat too and the people were constantly talking LOUDLY in the hallway ALL THE TIME! At 12 am, the people from the next room continued to chat again, […] LOUDLY, till 1! I had to call the front desk to shut them up. Luckily, they started the chatting all over again at 6 in the morning the next day. My suggestion is don't stay there if you can't handle noise. Lesa meira

Pacific Palms is definitely a 5-star hotel! The room service was prompt, food was great, showers were better than great. Have stayed here several times and I will definitely stay here again and would recommend to the business or pleasure traveler. Great value for the price!

"bad experience"
Last year I had a great time at this hotel. I was very impress with the location, atmosphere, rate, etc...The disappointment was in the room #617. There was a loud noise coming from above our room that sounds like a machine or water running and it kept on going to a point that it woke us up at 3am so we had to move to another room. When I called the […] front desk, I spoke to Joseph and his tone of voice was louder than mine. Not good customer service on his part. To future guest, do not take room #617!!! Lesa meira
"Pacific Palms Resort"
We stayed at this resort the last week of September and whilst we're not golfers, the hotel is set in and around the fairways of 2 golf courses, which makes the views from the rooms soo much more appealing than city centre hotels. The area around the resort isn't much to write home about, but there are enough restaurants located near Puente Hills Mall […] and 2 in the resort to satisfy mosts tastes. Rooms are large and decorated nicely, with big comfotable beds, a desk, sofa and unit with LCD TV. Bathrooms have good shower with lots of hot water. This was the second time we've stayed here in 3 years and although it's nowhere near the centre of LA, if you have a car it's soo much easier to get around to Disney, Universal, etc, than have to struggle out of the centre of LA during rush hour traffic. Thoroughley recommend this resort as an alternitive to the same boring LA centre hotels. Lesa meira

Stayed here several times, great place to stay and very nice hilltop location, near the Puente Shopping Mall, recognisable from Back to the Future movie. Very pleased with my stay and cant fault it in any way.

"Our 6 day Honeymoon at the Pacific Palms Resort"
On the plus side the hotel let us check in 3 hours early with no extra charge, but they placed us on the first floor which didn't include a balcony and the view was of the parking lot. The next day I called the front desk and asked them why their website said that all their rooms had balconies. That’s when we found out that all rooms except for the […] first floor had balconies. The staff seemed accommodating and allowed us to change rooms. They moved us all the way up to the second floor. We had a much better view in this room, but the balcony was so small and narrow it wasn't even worth trying to go outside on it. We were expecting at least a flat screen TV from this 4 star hotel, but TV in the room looked like it was from 1980. There was nowhere to hook up your iPod and listen to music. The top of the alarm clock looked like it had fallen off a few times and been glued back on. We went to the pool the hot tub didn’t work and it didn’t look like the place had been cleaned up in a few days. When we left the room, housekeeping came to clean up and they turned off the A/C on the hottest day of the year. We were so upset we had to make a sign and taped it to the thermostat asking them not to touch it in 3 different languages just to make sure there was no confusion to NOT turn off the A/C. We then noticed the bathroom sink had a leak, which we called and asked for maintenance to service, but they never showed up and we didn’t bother calling back and asking again and just wrapped a washcloth around the faucet. Then a couple days later we noticed that the carpet in the closet next to the bathroom was soaked. It is obvious this hotel has a major plumbing problem that they haven’t gotten around to fixing. We stayed at the Hyatt Place hotel the week before our wedding and had much better service than we had at this so called 4 Star resort. Lesa meira
"Not worth the price I paid"
When Arriving the hotel was nice and all, the staff was helpful. I got a better rate on this website than there own, however you have to pay service fees on here compared to there. The elevators going to the rooms are slow. The rooms don't look like 4 star quality, at best 3 stars. The rooms A/C was not that great, I understand when just arriving they […] may have the heat on or the thermostat turned off, but even after leaving it on max a/c for awhile it still was not cool in the room. the beds were not comfortable at all the beds were extremely soft almost worn out kind of feeling, I woke up with a sore back, and I am a young person. The drains in the tub were not draining well, while taking a shower. There was loud music being played from a party 4 floors below my room and my 1 1/2 year old daughter was not able to sleep. I called the front desk and complained. They did not know what to do about the problem. I told them it was my last night there, if it was my first night there I would not have a problem moving rooms, but with all the luggage, stroller, and car carrier. It would not be worth moving for a few hours. So I told them to comp me a day, they agreed to my wishes on that. It just looks like a classy resort but not a resort feel to it. The SPA is overpriced for a massage and pedicure. I asked for a double eagle package which all the packages including the double eagle package is way overpriced. The package included an 80 minute deep tissue massage and a 55 minute pedicure. The Massage was supposed to be a deep tissue massage, which was sub-par at best, not feeling like a deep tissue at all what so ever. the pedicure was okay they could have done a better job on it. but between the two the pedicure was much better. The cocktail lounge "Red" I feel was over priced for the cocktail drinks even for the well drinks. However they did have a good selection of wines offered. So overall I would not consider this a 4 or even 5 start hotel more like a 3 1/2 stars. Howev Lesa meira
"A bit disappointed"
I am not one to complain and I actually find it funny when I read reviews about people who have nothing but negative things to say on their reviewshowever I think honest reviews are important because I tend to book hotels based on reveiws. I have to say that I was a bit disappointed with this hotel. Don't get me wrong, the resort is beautiful and the […] staff is great, but the rooms are a bit run down. My husband and I unpacked all of our belongings after a long 7hr drive and when we finished my husband sat down on the bed and the wood frame holding the bed up BROKE and my 170 lb husband fell on the floor. When I spoke to staff they moved me over 4 rooms down the hall and she didn't seem to be too concerned about it. I later spoke to the manager and he moved us to the 7th floor with a beautiful view of the golf course and we appreciated that nice gesture. Needless to say, my husband and I spent the rest of our evening re-packing, moving everything over and unpacking again. We did not get to hang out and relax by the pool with the children "as planned". The other bad thing about the hotel is their mattresses, they are awful and 2 days later we are still trying to recooperate from our neck and back pains. We travel a lot and have stayed at many hotels and these were definitely the worst mattresses we have slept on. We are in our early 30's and normally we don't have back or neck problems. On a positive note, we attended an event at the hotel and the service was really good. The Quinceanera was perfect and they even allowed us to go past the time it was supposed to end. Overall, the hotel is beautiful and I would consider staying again, but I would definitely dread sleeping on those beds again. Enjoy your stay :) Lesa meira

"WOW"
Great experience... I have stayed at hotels from San Francisco to Boston from Vegas and Los Angeles to Miami BUT NEVER HAVE I EXPERIENCE SUCH A HOTEL EXPERIENCE. For the $$$ this Hotel is one of the best. I went there for a special occasion and it didn't disapoint. The only thing which I didn't care for because I didn't go to see TV was that the TV […] was an old bulky TV set. But who cares about that when the view the service the room are of superv quality. Great property, nice ambience, well-appointed rooms although the TVs could be flat panels instead of the older models without such high resolution. Conveniently located near restaurants, shopping, good access to the 60 fwy. Always has events happening there such as golf tournaments, weddings, corporate meetings with a spacious lobby/entryway but rooms […] are very private and away from the bustle of the lobby. the golf course was great and pretty. They need to work on a walking trail on the grounds. The hotel was excellent. The beds need to be replaced because they don't sleep well. The spa was the best and the food was great. I love the atmosphere. I will be back.
The hotel is in a perfect location. I chose the mountain view which is awesome. The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained. The food and service at the restaurants are excellent. The room was nicely decorated and included a small terrace looking out on the mountains. The bathroom was nice but not great , e.g. the industrial looking […] galvanized drain pipe had no decorative covering or skirt around the sink. There was inadequate lighting over the bathroom sink Just two wall sconces with lamp shades. Overall I would recommend this resort hotel for its fine looks, great food, friendly front desk, spacious property, and comfortable room with an awesome view.
