Frábær staðsettning í göngufæri við helstu merkisstaði og söfn Wasingtons. Herbergin rúmgóð og hlíleg, Morgunverðarborðið eitt það allrabesta sem fyrir finnst í Bandaríkjunum. Starfsfólkið hjálplegt og yndislegt í alla staði. Mæli með þessu eindregið.

"Mæli með þessu Hoteli"Metið af Samúel JS frá "Reykjavík" þann 7. nóv. 2011
Gisti í eina nótt og herbergið var mjög stórt og vel útbúið, nánast eins og svíta! Gott stórt rúm og fínt bað/sturta, stór sturtuhaus. Góður klæðaskápur m straubretti og járni. Ísskápur og kaffivél. Skrifborð og stóll og tölvusamband gott. Setustofa með sófasetti og allt mjög rúmgott og snyrtilegt. Mæli hiklaust með þessu hóteli og mun leita eftir Hyatt Place ef ég þarf í framtíð. Verðið var mjög sanngjarnt.
Mögulegt er að gjalds verði krafist fyrir aukagesti. Slíkt fer eftir stefnu hvers hótels fyrir sig.
Krafist er skilríkja með mynd og kreditkorts eða innborgunar við innritun vegna tilfallandi gjalda.

"Great hotel, but a bad experience at the bar."
My hotel room was great, no complaints. But I did want to mention my disappointing experience at the bar around 1030p on the last night of my stay. I can't remember names, but an older asian lady was my bar tender. She was great. However the other bar tender, a male, must have upset someone working in the back because the person in the back came out […] and got into a argument right in front of me. A manager sat back and watched the confrontation. He was obviously concerned about the scuffle but didn't intervene for the sake of the customers. From my arrival to my departure, my stay was wonderful. The staff was friendly & curtious, they treated us like old friends we haven't seen in a while. The chief was so sweet to my kids, asking them if there food was alright and there stay. She made sure to prepare their food the way they wanted it. "Nice Hotel but $13 overnight parking in a suburb"
I booked this hotel through hotels.com. Nowhere in the listing of the hotel did it mention that parking was not free. One would expect to pay for parking in a city but this hotel is located in a suburb.
"Great locations"
I was looking for hotels on Manhattan but the availability was low for my price range. Sherraton on Weehawken is a great alternative. Reasonable price, the bus stop of 158 is one block and away and (without traffic) you are in 20 minutes in PABT. Bus 126 also has a close by stop. Highly recommended.
"Marriott Bethesda - pleasant and convenient"
The hotel had the amenities we needed for visiting family in the area -- good location, Internet access, pool (and spa), airport shuttle, on-site restaurant. The room rate was the most reasonable that I could find in that area at that time. The food in the restaurant was good though a bit expensive. I thought from their website that the wireless Internet […] was free, but there was a charge. However, there was no charge for using the self-service laundry machines. "Great Location...Bad Room"
Could not get air to work in the room at all. Very stuffy. Fortunately, it wasn't cold outside or it would have really been miserable. And, yes, I notified frontdesk that air wasn't working, but they never did anything about it. Changing rooms was apparently out of the question. Too bad, Pook's Hill is a great location.

First thing I noticed as I walked on the 3rd floor to my room was the bad smell. Smelled like spoiled diaper.. It dissapeared on the 3rd day though. Otherwise the staff were very nice! since this hotel is in middle of nowhrere, the shuttle service to down town was great! Thank you!

The staff at the hotel was very accommodating with a reservation snafu and the hotel itself was clean, elegant and a classy spot.

Good location for us. Near metro with shuttle. Service good, rooms clean, one of our rooms was perfect--the other had bad lighting in the bathroom, and toilet took two tries to flush every time, but this isn't normal for this hotel. "Nice place, very covenient"
Great room, good restaurant and nice hotel. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. Only complaint was the parking entry and departure. Each day my room card failed to work either coming or going and it was very inconvenient.

"Hit or Miss service"
The Agio (on site lounge) staff was excellent. What you would expect from a business class hotel. The manager, especially, was quite accommodating and understood basic service tenets like calling people back and confirmations. Unfortunately the rest of the staff failed miserably by comparison. They seemed to be more concerned with whatever they could […] do in a short time, while ignoring anything that required followup. I had to call 5 times before I could get someone who would confirm delivery of a food gift that should have been easily confirmed. No one EVER called me back despite talking to 4 different people at different times at this hotel except the Agio manager. They need to get the Agio's manager to train the rest of the staff (or at least the front desk staff) on what service means. The housekeeping staff was just fine - if they tune up the follow-up level of the front desk and phone answering staff, I'd move my rating from <3 to close to 4. One other note - they have on-site parking for an additional $12 per day that uses the hotel keycard, so check in first, then park. Lesa meira
"Very, very nice especially for the price"
The room was very nice and the bed was excellent. I had breakfast in the dining room every day and it was very good without being too expensive. Overall, a very good place to stay at a very reasonable cost.

This is a hotel that knows what it is doing. Able to handle business travelers, vacationers, and school field trips with aplomb, terrific and friendly service. Wonderful food - Marriott staff well trained, friendly, accomodating....Did I say friendlly? Whether you've gotten in late and need a bite to eat and a glass of wine, or having breakfast; or […] catching up on the Bruins game, the staff wants you to enjoy freshly prepared food, terrific service, and a wonderful attitude. "Bethesda Marriott on Pooks Hill Roda"
This was very disappointing. Most importantly was the lack of free internet in the room. It is $16.95. It is misleading to say free wireless when you have to go to the lobby. Second the parking was $5 more than advertized by Hotels.Com. Third the metro is not within walking distance as I was told. They do have a shuttle but this was not what I was […] told. We ended up driving to the metro. Unlike the Hampton there is no free breakfast. Very pricey but good restaurant. To Hotels.com and the Hotel itself, they did waive some of these fees after I complained. Friendly staff, good breakfast (pricey though), decently apportioned rooms. Only hotel I've been to in a while where they actually give you enough towels and washcloths. "Great hotel but a little off the beaten path"
The hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The parking was more affordable than if we were to stay closer to the center of DC. The room was adequate in size but the bathroom was very small; where two people getting ready to go out did not fit. There is a full buffet/ala carte menu on the weekends but on Mondays it is still a buffet but […] with less choice and the same price. There is a shuttle to the Metro and it runs every half hour, very convenient. It saves you from having to find parking in DC. The hotel was very comfortable. The detractors were that parking was not free, nor was wifi in the rooms.
"First class hotel at a bargain rate"
The Bethesda Marriot had the lowest priced room of the hotels near the family we were visiting, but we found the rooms, service, location, landscaping, and amenities all first class. And all the staff we came into contact with were friendly and helpful. There was a $13 charge for parking and a $12 charge for room Internet , but that's a fair trade--off […] for a low room rate. "OK to stay"
I have not observed any bed bugs activity in my room, which in these times is "great". The stay was OK. Restaurant is on the premise but serves only up to 10 pm and there is nothing around as a replacement. Starbucks is also there, and it also closes at 10pm. Nice location very clean
the room was clean.. the hotel is big.. but the beds are TOO soft.. no microwave.. no refrigerator.. but overall it was OK!!

"Marriott Pooks Hill"
Lovely Hotel complete with a Starbucks, so coffee smell is always in the air. Wonderful, clean rooms, beautiful decor - Attentive staff. Negative - set away from the street, so traveling anywhere is an issue. They have a shuttle service (free) for downtown Bethesda.

Was here to see family over Christmas so did not need many amenities, but we were very satisfied with the level of comfort and luxury of our room. excellent hotel, convenient location and beautiful and comfortable rooms. i did not like that they charged for parking even though we were guests and at one point i smelled cigarette smoke through the vent from the neighboring room and that bothered me. but everything else was divine.

We were very happy with our stay. The hotel is moderately close to Bethesdea (and has a shuttle); the lobby was nice; the room was superb; and the food was superb (but pricey). My only minor complaint is that it's irritating to pay for parking. This is not a downtown hotel, where such charges are more understandable.
