The stay was quite nice. Unfortunately, there were a couple of inconveniences that really left a sour taste. Hotel staff failed to make up our room and... replenish the little things like tea/coffee soaps/shampoos. When we enquired, and sought some teas bags, there was an initial apology, which we thanked them for and moved on. Unfortunately, as we were retiring for the night, we received a late night phone call to tell us that it was our fault, because we did not ask for the room to be made up. I made a point during check up that I did not appreciate the late night call to tell me a load of rubbish. The desk staff apologised, yet again, but this time I was not so quick to accept. The double beds were very small, but luckily there were two so we could have one each. Despite these issues the hotel itself, including its location were great, but as there is plenty of accommodation in Vancouver, this one is off our list. Sett inn af Mad frá Gisborne frá 16.05.2013
