Staðsetning mjög góð í hjarta Oslóar. Morgunverður sem er innifalinn í gistingu er hreint út sagt frábær. í herbergi 219: Athuga þarf lesljós við rúm fjær glugga, rúm nær glugga og þéttikantur undir sturtuskilrúm væri mjög æskilegt, svo gólf á snyrtingu blotni ekki þegar sturtan er notuð.

"Centre of Oslo but fairly noisy"
The hotel is localed about 200 yards from the central station and is therefore close to a number of the central Oslo attractions. However, it also overlooks a busy market street with shops and a number of pubs so expect a fair amount of street noise until 11pm. Hotel was clean and the breakfast good.
This was an excellent location, front-desk very helpful, the breakfast was very acceptable and varied in the choices available. The location is one of the nicest in central Oslo.

I arrived early at the Hotel,hot and weary,hoping for an early check-in.Found it was not a problem,the room was ready, and I was welcome to check in and have a refreshing shower before setting out to visit some haunts which I had not been to for 50 years.Hotel receptionist was brilliant-gave me a map and advised which trams to catch-information turned […] out to be spot on! Hotel was well situated, only 10 minutes walk from the Central Station,clean and tidy room and friendly, approachable staff-all the ingredients for a very pleasant start to what turned out to be a memorable return visit to Norway. "Hotal Thon Spektrum, Oslo"
Conveniently located and a good budget hotel. The room was small but had everything needed. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest I've seen. I was given a room facing the street but it was very noisy so I asked for a room at the back of the hotel and was able to change straight away. This hotel is a good option for anyone looking for a city centre hotel […] in Oslo on a tight budget. Lesa meira
"No sleep at all"
Stayed 3 nights and did not get any sleep!! The noice from outside was terrible and along with awful warmth in room - well I didnt sleep at all. I do not recommend this hotel.
A very good budget hotel. Excellent location, helpful staff and good breakfast. Would stay there again.

Good basic hotel with excellent choice of breakfast buffet - hot & cold food, all fresh and tasty. Excellent location for transport around the city but in a poorer area with many "dubioius" characters around the streets. Would stay there again for value for money. 2 travellers from Staffordshire, England.

Nothing wrong with the cleanliness or condition of the hotel, staff generally friendly and helpful if asked. There was street noise until very late but on the whole very good for a short stay.

Close to the railway and bus terminal. Money changer,small fresh fruit market,supermarket within 50 metres of hotel. Great wi-fi access, tea and coffee free all day and night and very security conscious.
"Tromso - Viking Hotel"
The Viking Hotel was a little like an old fashioned guest house in atmosphere. The staff were helpful but in all the accomodation was quite basic in relation to price.

An OK hotel to stay in if you want something close to Bus or Train station and also in the proximity to the things you want to see in Oslo, if you like walking. Breakfast was ordinary good, but the suroundings was not very impressive. Note that hotel is close to Spectrum and noice from conserts can be a problem if you want to sleep with open window. Veldig fornøyd med dette hotellet! De yter god service, resepsjonistene var hyggelige og jeg hadde det kjempefint! :) Fint rom med behagelig seng, tv og gratis internettilkobling, samt god frokostbuffet. Kommer til å velge dette hotellet neste gang jeg er i Oslo også. :)

Great budget option - Very clean, warm and comfortable rooms and a tasty breakfast. Excellent value that close to the center of Oslo.
"Decent BUDGET Hotel"
Room was comfortable, but a bar is located below (not the hotel's) and it was noisy all thru the night.Staff was efficient though not very friendly. We spent a night and it met with our expectations. The breakfast buffet was good though not included in the price.
"Good location"
The hotel is in a good location, very close to the central train station (which is also where the airport train lets off). As are most places in the city center, it's easy to walk everywhere from here. There is also a good string of bars on the same road as the hotel. The room is clean and confortable and has everything you need, including a good bathroom […] with shower. The only slight minor downside is that you have to pay a modest fee for wifi, which I though was included. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel. Even though it's a budget in name, it's not the bare-bones budget experience that you get in most other cities. It's definitately not a backpackers place or anything like that. Lesa meira

Hotel was clean, staff helpfull and nice, location very good - very close to bus and train stations as well as Karl Johans gate. Most attractions within walking distance: Opera House, National Gallery, Oslo University, Royal Palace, National Theatre and many museums. My room was on 2nd floor with large window facing Brugata street. Overall good quality […] and value for money. "Good Value for the Money"
Be prepared to spend A lot of money when in Scandinavia! This is a good hotel for the money. Positives include central location and within walking distance of Central Railroad and the bus terminal. Importantly, Raddison SAS (at about twice the price) is very close and when the Thon staff cannot help or do not know, you can stop at Raddison to have your […] questions answered (very cordial and courteous even after I told them I was not staying there). Raddison also sells train tickets to the airport, so you do not have to walk further to the train station. Also, they offer free coffee and tea 24x7. Negatives include, small (I had a single) rooms which I did not mind since I was staying there just one night. It was a bit noisy even though I was on the fifth floor; but okay after I closed the window. Less than perfectly clean, but acceptable (e.g., window sills should have been scrubbed). Someone had spilled something sticky in the hallway which was sticky even after a quick mop. It was a Sunday and few things function well on weekends in Norway. Lesa meira

"Bon rapport qualité prix"
Bon hôtel pour dépanner une nuit ou 2, personnel aimable, chambre correcte. Cadre correcte sans plus. Petit plus: nous devions quitter l'hôtel très tôt pour allez à l'aeroport , on nous a préparé un petit déjeuner à emporter !

Dette er et billig hotell som ligger sentralt. Frokosten var noe redusert da jeg var der, enda det var en time til frokosten skulle være slutt. Fikk meg litt eggerøre, men så var det slutt på den, og det ble ikke fylt opp, selv om jeg ventet litt for å se om jeg kunne få litt til (men jeg spurte ikke heller). "Spectrum hotell Oslo"
Rommet var litt i minste laget for oss to med hver vår store koffert. Badet var også veldig lite. Frokosten var god og servicen upåklagelig. veldig grei beliggenhet i forhold til bussstasjon og Sentralbanestasjon.

bestilte queen size rom, men fikk et veldig lite rom som kunne minne om et bøttekott, men en seng som var litt større enn en enkeltseng. men beligenheten er jo veldig bra.

Dette er et greit, men pregløst hotell i et sentralt og interessant nabolag mellom Storgata og Grønland, nær Oslo S, Flybussen mm. Det er normalt blant de rimeligere tilbudene i området. Jeg hadde et nokså trangt, men trivelig rom med skråtak med vindu uten særlig mye innsyn, men med en del utsikt. En ting var klart dårligere enn vanlig på denne typen […] hoteller: Lite utvalg av tv-kanaler. Lesa meira

Et greit hotell, men opplevelsen ødelegges av likgyldige hotellmedarbeidere som ikke smiler, sier noe overflødig og virker totalt uinteressert i sine gjester. Dette gjelder spesielt førsteinntrykket man får i resepsjonen.

Hotellrommene fine, god seng og sofa, bra beliggenhet i sentrum. Stor og bra frokost. Anbefaler dette hotellet hvis du skal bo billig og sentralt i Oslo!

"Rimelig, rent, pent og sentralt!"
Rimelig alternativ. God frokost, stille og rolig, pene rom. Fikk dekket mine behov da jeg var på privat reise for å treffe venner og være ute i byen. Syntes motagelsen var sånn passe av resepsjonisten, men dagen etterpå fikk jeg veldig god service i resepsjonen. Anbefaler gjerne dette hotellet til andre.

God beliggenheit, gode prisar, men mykje bråk rundt hotellet. Kunne lydisolert romma betre.

Jeg liker meg på Spectrum ! Alltid hyggelige og blide folk i resepsjonen. Rommene varierer en del, men denne gangen var det også helt fint. God og rikelig frokost. Sentral beliggenhet og en hyggelig rpris. Kommer igjen om ikke lenge.

Bodde på hotellet eftersom vi skulle på en konsert i Spektrum Arena och kunde inte bett om ett bättre läge! Precis på andra sidan gatan! Även nära tågcentralen och Karl Johann. Fint hotellrum och bra frukost. Vi var mycket nöjda!

"Fikk ikke sove litt ekstra"
Liker når jeg får tilbydd å få være en time eller to ekstra på rommet - det skjedde ikke :) - noe som regel pleier å gå i orden. Ellers er beliggenheten ok sentralt - rent og pent men litt kjønnsløst hotell

Sentral beliggenhet, veldig greit om man bare skal sove og dusje på hotellet. God frokost. Bra og billig !
