I liked that you could have great breakfast in good place nearby that was open 24 hours and some pub to grab something to eat late evening. This hotel is great when you are in a rush and need to be up early or come in late.

Við dvöldum hér fjögra manna fjölskylda í 5 nætur. Það fór mjög vel um okkur í herberginu sem var hreint og glæsilegt. Flott nuddbaðkar og góð sturta. Sjónvarpið var stór flatskjár mjög gott. Við myndum velja þetta hótel aftur við pöntuðum tímalega og fengum herbergið á fínu verði.

"Great hotel for the value"
I normally use this hotel when I travel to Chicago. It a great hotel for the value. Friendly staff and always enjoy the Sunday morning breakfast in the full service restaurant . However the room I had on this trip did not have any type of view outside the window. The only thing I could see was the top of a roof of a building. "Very good value for money spent"
As my wife and I needed a suburban location near the interstate, this hotel was a very good value for the money. Hotel was clean and surprisingly quiet. However, a car is needed to do anything in this area.

My friends and I had an excellent trip and the hotel was extremely clean, comfortable and welcoming. The only downside was the fact we had to travel great distances to get anywhere we wanted to go!

close to the freeway that goes straight into town. close to the blue line. they offer shuttle services on the hour. very accommodating.

"Best Western in Hillside"
Everything was perfect except for the time it took to check-in. We waited a long time, twice. The first time it took so long we had to leave and come back and check-in after our appointment. The second time we waited quite a while as well. The hotel itself was great. We were very satisfied.
"Best Western - don't use your debit card"
I paid for my room using Hotel.com and that we extremely easy. When I arrived at the hotel, I presented my debit card and the room was charged again on my card. Made several calls to Best Western, but was handed off to several people. Finally I was given someone from Accounting who stated that the money should be credited back to my account in 24 hours. […] A 120 hours later, the money has not be returned and the run away starts all over. Poor record keeping here. This should be a cash only hotel. CRAZY!!!!!! Lesa meira

"Traffic"
The traffic sounds from the highway and delivery trucks backing up were quite loud from 3 am on. Next time, I won't stay near a highway. Service and accommodations were great but my main goal was to get some sleep after sightseeing.

"Usually good; cleanliness problem this trip"
I've stayed at this hotel 3-4 times before, when visiting my father in a nursing home in Wheaton and friends in Oak Park. It's usually good, and I would usually recommend it, but this trip we had a cleanliness problem. On arrival, there was a long wait to check in. We were put in a 3rd floor room, and the hallway reeked of cigarette smoke (but I think […] all the rooms were non-smoking rooms). The first room we were assigned had unemptied (gross) trash cans out in the middle of the floor. We returned to the desk to complain and we were put in another room, which looked fine, but later in the evening, I found two dirty washcloths hiding in the shower curtain that had gone unnoticed. I let the desk know. Overall, this time, I was unimpressed. I might stay here again, but I will inspect my room thoroughly before accepting it next time. Lesa meira

I enjoyed my stay. However, as a senior citizen I could appreciate having non skid strips installed in the bath tub to prevent falls.

Great hotel for the money!! Close to everything. Nice comfy beds with lots of pillows. Husband liked the shower head and everything was really clean.

"Convenient location and free parking"
I chose this hotel with two main reasons in mind: free parking and the not-so-far location to McCormick Place, where I attended the Automation Fair. Everything in the hotel was as expected - nice stay for an affordable price.
Our overall stay at the Best Western Hillside near Chicago was pretty great! We were lucky to find a great deal on the room and the location is wonderful, next to a convenient shopping center! Our only concern was a leak we had in our room from the radiator. Little did I know, their was a leak and the carpet which my bags were on top of was soaking […] wet causing some soiled laundry. But to top everything off, the free 24-7 shuttle the hotel offers came MOST helpful to us! Most definitely saved us money from renting a car or getting taxi cabs. Took us right to the subway/ trains which took us right into Chicago. The free shuttle really made our short stay in IL so much easier and hassle free! I recommend this hotel. Lesa meira
"Excellent place to stay near downtown Chicago!"
The staff were courteous and overly accommodating. The rooms were clean and quite comfortable. I plan to stay here again when I visit Chicago. Easy, quick drive to downtown and surrounding areas.

Just needed basic, no frills hotel for last minute trip, and this filled the bill. Polite staff. Room was clean, with handy fridge and microwave, but air unit was a little loud. Hotel offered room service and $10/pp breakfast and dinner buffets that we didn't get to enjoy, but I've heard good things about. Just down surface street from O'Hare, across […] from shopping center with Target, etc. Convenient to highways. Older TVs, so tell kids not to bother bringing videogame systems. :-) Lesa meira
"Hillside"
Standard hotel room nothing special about it but the bed was very comfortable. Was a little far out of the city and the traffic heading into downtown was horrible. Took a short taxi ride, for about 10 bucks and took the CTA train into the city. We definitely had to go through an area that was a little shady to get into the city. "Best Western Chicago Hillside"
The staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is right across from a target and shopping center with options for food. It is not far from downtown Chicago in mileage, however having traffic almost all the time, consider this in your choice of venue. Frank Lloyd Wright home/studio and houses are not far at all so it made it worth our while to stay here.

"NICE HOTEL"
Courteous staff and the front desk staff was very helpful with directions to our destinations in Chicago. Room was very comfortable and peaceful, location worked well for my team of disabled athletes.

I don't have any complaints about the hotel. The shuttle took us straight to the train station and said they would pick us up whenever we got done. When we did call to be picked up around one in the morning, both shuttles were out and we had to take a cab.
"Worked well for our needs"
We were in the Hillside area for 2 nights for a family reunion. This hotel was fine as a comfortable place to sleep. I recommend taking ear plugs (which I always do) just to be sure you can have some quiet while you sleep, as this is a convention hotel, and some folks down the hall were a little loud. I was satisfied for the price.

For the price we got, it was worth it. Although the restroom door lock didn't work but it's not a biggie for us. So far no complaints here. Location is one of it's best asset.

It was a nice hotel. Accomodations were good. It was extremely noisy from all the traffic on the interstate.

The hotel is a little out of the way but it is worth the money I paid which was not very much compare to many other hotels in the area. Very clean, friendly staff, full service restaurant. I enjoyed my stay and will continue to go back.
