This was a great Hotel and Wonderful Service. Room was great, but dont open the Door to the outside.. all you will hear is AC Units. Very LOUD. Just make sure you ask for the side without the AC Units.

We had requested early check in but were told that it was 4:00pm and they would have a room ready for us in "just a few minutes" when we arrived around noon. At 2:45 they had a handicapped room available "with one of the best views in the hotel". It was a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool area and partial view of the Gulf. The hotel was not […] the cleanest (after staying at Orlando Hilton), the ice machine did not work and the bed creaked at every movement. Friendly staff, nice beds and pillows, on beach, by the pier. Good coffee in room and nice shampoo/soap. Negatives-Room could use bigger trash cans and a microwave. The pool uses chlorine and not a salt system. Kids eyes were very red. Pool towels need to be pulled by people that have "saved" them and left, so people that are actually swimming can use […] the chairs. TV has TWO kids channels. "OVER PRICED!!"
This hotel is out dated and over priced. Charging for parking is ridiculous. They give you a tag for your windshield so they shouldn't have a problem knowing who is staying and who is not. $3 for a bottle of water? Really? They are taking advantage due to the location. "Spectacular view & fun things to do."
Great choice. Beds & pillows were extremely comfortable. Tiki bar on the white sand beach was great! Right next door is the pier which hosts a sunset viewing party with all kinds of crafts, artwork & great souveneirs to purchase from locals in the evenings. The walkway in front of the hotel has pizza places, a deli, ice cream & lots of other shops. […] The Clearwater Aquarium is just around the corner & where they filmed "The Dolphin Tale " movie. Our view was superb, The location was good, The room adequit, The staff very accomodating. I recomend this hotel with reservation because the wiring to the AC unit in our room would not have passed an electrical code inspection in any state in the US. On the day of our departure I glance down at the AC unit in our room and discovered that the electrical […] connection was done in a very dangerous jack-leg manner. One of the panels on the unit was set ajar and the electrical feed consisted of insulated wire in a piece of flexible metal conduit that terminated several inches outside the unit. The wire then passed through the gap between the panels. Given time the vibration of the unit will shred the insulation and cause an electrical fire. I recently stayed here on a trip to spring training and it was great. The staff was very helpful with all of our needs. The arranged rides for us (we paid for it) to and from the stadium and airport. The hotel has a great location, directly on the beach as opposed to crossing a street like the others in the area. Nice Tiki bar right on the beach as well and wonderful sunset views. An absolute great hotel right where you want to be. Close to everything. The service was first class all the way! Exactly what you would expect for a Hilton Hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return. Flew in for a quick weekend get away and was not disappointed. Far exceeded our expectations!

"Clearwater Beach Hilton-a little bit of heaven"
We went to Clearwater for a sad reason, to bury my 95 year old mom. We chose the Hilton because we love the beach and wanted a prime location. The hotel gave us wonderful beach views and the best service possible. They gave us a stay that made us more than glad we chose it.

We were there for the 2012 Outback Bowl. Wonderful and helpful staff, very clean and nice. Beautiful beach. Great location within walking distance of several restaurants and shopping.

My wife and I stayed one night at the Hilton on the night of December 25, 2011. The lady at the check-in counter was very polite. She apologized for the wait (an entire 8 minutes) and proceeded to check us in. It was approximately 1:47PM (check-in is at 4:00pm). She informed me that I had booked the Clearwater room (least costly) on the 3rd floor. I […] asked politely if they had any rooms on the upper floors. She kindly checked and informed me that they had a King room ready on the top (9th) floor. I took it immediately. We had a partial ocean / beach view which was very nice. It seemed like an upgrade even though I wasn't a Hilton Gold member. They had free wifi which was nice. We tried both the beach restaurant which was decent and also the breakfast buffet which we loved. However, it was a bit price at $18 / person but that is what to expect at a hotel buffet. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. All in all, it was a very nice hotel and we shold definitely go back. Lesa meira
The hotel is in a quant surrounding you can walk to pier the sunset was priceless ! The sand is worth the trip I will be back and I enjoyed my stay.

One and only complant is the woman from houskeeping with the clipboard who showed up at our door one and a half hours before check out just to make sure we were checking out. It is a rude practice and totally insulting to guests.

But there is a great restaurant across street called Mandalays Grill. Room was clean and big TV. We stayed in a city view room which was better than looking at a roof and AC's. Very enjoyable stay. Only down was that on one day there were no towels to be had for the beach (their dryer had broken, they said). Otherwise an excellent experience - nice rooms, with refrig. and safe. Highly recommend the place for anyone that wants a pool/beach stay - especially good for kids. Good pool side and beach side food service.

we just got back from the hilton clearwater beach this week, we went with our 18 month old daughter and had a great time. the hotel is right on the beach, they give you towels and everything. Our room was clean and the bed was comfy we had a great time.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in august. Everythig you could possible want from a right on the beach hotel. Local restaurants superb and all within easy walking distance. Staff at the hotel extremly helpfull and so polite. will be back.

My husband and I were not initially impressed with the rooms at this hotel. They were clean and looked nice, but maybe just a little outdated. We had a "Coast Room" which gives you a view of the ocean, but you look out and you first see the ugly roof of the hotel...and then you notice the ocean in front of you. We stayed at a Hyatt Place our first 2 […] nights in Florida and the room there was a lot bigger and a lot nicer...and a lot cheaper. I was not really impressed and hated that I had spent so much money on the room. The lobby area was nice, the breakfast was way overpriced, but the service was great. our room did not have wireless internet because of its location. That was the main reason I booked the Hilton so I will not be coming back to that hotel if I come back to Clearwater Beach
