"Old hotel - friendly staff"
This is definitely an old hotel, in a nice part of town. Despite its age, the owners still try hard to keep it nice. They've done the best anyone could do with rooms and a layout from the 70's. You can tell they really care about the property, but probably can't afford a huge hotel makeover. Breakfast was bagels, toast, cereal, juice and coffee. Clean […] and quiet in the lobby. The staff was really nice. The value of it all is well worth the lower price per night for the rooms. Lesa meira
"good place to stay"
The was good for the price and it is perfect right by the freeway and lots of places to eat. Could add a little more to the breakfast like oakmeal some hot to eat. Just a little more updated beds and TV would help as well but for the most part I was pleased
"Decent, but with drawbacks....."
The room was clean, the facilities were clean, and the service was fine. However, we stayed in a smoking room and the hotel shows a lack of ability to negate the latent smell of cigarette smoke. As well, the curtains were very thin, and thus allowed the parking lot lights to leave the room too bright to fall asleep properly.
"Too close to freeway"
The canyon shape of the motel makes it an excellant echo chamber. Everytime a motorcycle shoots south on the freeway it woke me up.

"Not worth the stay"
First the Good... The hotel is centrally located right in the middle of Norco which is right between Ontario and Corona, which was ok..... Now, the bad, the hotel is right by the freeway, and yes you can hear it. Second, the room is cold and there is a draft no matter what you do. My sheets were not clean, there was old stains on them, yucky. Wife and […] I were looking forward to having a nice stay and relax in the jacuzzi, but it was dirty, really dirty and not maintained, but we were willing to overlook it, but it was cold....... freezing There were no signs indicating that the pool area was closed and that was one of the reasons we booked a room at the Hojo. When she called the front desk, they said yes it was open and yes it was turned on.... nope, my foot was frozen. Finally, the breakfast is lackluster as is the service from the hotel staff. I only gave the hotel a 2 because the exterior is clean mostly, the hotel is centrally located and it doesn't look like a "no-tel" motel but for a few bucks more there are other nationally branded hotels to stay at which would provide quality service for your money. The room was homely. I had requested to have a 3 star room and my wife and I were given this hotel option. The room was comfortable, but our faucet leaked. Then my wife happened to look down and noticed that there was a hole in the carpet and a bad water stain on it. There was obvious ceiling repairs in our room where you could see there had been water […] damage. In the morning when we got up, we noticed that the fitted sheet on the bed did not reach all the way to the foot of the bed, but exposed was the bed-bug mattress cover underneath. When we saw the breakfast options we decided to go out instead for breakfast. The one positive thing was that the staff was helpful. Lesa meira
"I WOULD RECOMEND TO OTHER PEOPLE"
IT WAS VERY CLOSE TO THE FREEWAY AND THE HOTEL WAS VERY QUIET AND CONFORTABLE. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND SPACIOUS. EASY TO CHECK IN AND OUT. VERY NICE EMPLOYEE AT THE FRONT DESK.
"Norco Hotel- An awful dirty night"
As I mentioned before the woman at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. Once I got into the room it was very old and dirty and it had a stale odor, as did the comforter and blanket . As i pulled back the covers I found lots of hair tangled throughout the blanket and comforter. The sheets were stained but did not smell and appeared to have been washed. […] The pillow cases were previously used and had not been washed. The carpet was dirty. The counter was scratched and stained and had a layer of dirt/dust that came off on the towel that i used to wipe it with. The basin was dirty as were the mirrors. The toilet seat was old and dirty, the walls and floors of the bathroom were stained and dirty. The shower was dirty and had hair in it. The lamps were not working properly, the heater was loud and also did not work properly. The TV remote was dirty, the night stand was sticky. Over all it was an uncomfortable, disgusting nights stay, and the only reasons I didn't go back and ask for a different room are beacuse I had my four year old with me and there was a constant rain fall. "Hotel experience in Norco"
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean but outdated. The carpet and bathroom was warn and needed some renovation. I also did not expect to have the tub so warn that the coaking on the rim was coming apart. The Front desk clerk was very helpful and Friendly. For the price I paid for this room, I would have expected more.
