"Under construction, dirty carpets and mildew"
1. Wish there had been information available telling me about the construction. There was a giant dumpster in the parking lot and pallets of construction items in the lobby. 2. My daughter walked barefooted in our room and the bottom of her feet were black! Yuck! 3. The caulk around the shower was black with mildew and it smelled bad. "The place was under construction!"
The rooms all had crums on the floor, found a bag of chips under one bed. The toilet in one would not flush unless the handle was held down, the other it did not sit even so it ROCKED when you were on it (Room 115). Remote didn't work in Room 115 either.
Hotel wasnt good at all. Hotel room was cold and the heater sounded like it needed a muffler

Upon finally finding the hotel (not very visible signs from the road), I checked in and was informed that the hotel was under construction and that my room was located on the second floor. Minor inconvenience but it was not a big deal. We got upstairs to discover that the rooms were not properly numbered that there were sticky notes on the doors indicating […] the room numbers. We got in to the room to find that the room was freezing, the thermometer registered a temp of 52 degrees. Completely ridiculous. This was about 830pm, the room did not hit a temp of 66 degrees until about 3:30am. The security latch on the door was non-functioning due to the piece on the door being missing. When I went to tuck my daughter into bed I discovered that the comforter on her bed had numerous cigarette burns all over it. The same was discovered about my bed. The next morning when we went downstairs to have breakfast before we headed to the children's hospital I discovered that their breakfast was lacking in many ways. The milk was sitting out on the counter, no clue how long it had been there. There was 3 containers of cereal but no way to serve it and the few pastries that were sitting out were frozen. The juice machine offered 2 types of juice and was unfortunately out of both. When I brought it to the attention of the desk clerk I was told someone would get to it...we were in the lobby for almost 30 minutes waiting for the car service to pick us up and she never filled the machines. This experience was over all very upsetting and completely disappointing. I would definitely think twice before I ever booked lodging at a Days Inn, and there is no way I would ever stay at this one again. I love hotels.com, but this hotel was horrible. Lesa meira
"Good location and price"
This hotel was pretty great for the price, they were doing some work on the place so it wasnt as nice as it could be but they were working on it. When i checked in the girl behind the counter gave me the key to make sure i was happy with the room, and i was, i checked really well for bed bugs, and there were none, i didnt even see a spider or gnat so […] i was happy with that. This place probably isnt for someone looking for a super fancy place but i felt safe when staying there and thats what matters the most to me. I was in town for a concert and it was great for location, i would stay again if i were in town. Lesa meira
"Remodeling"
The hotel was in the midst of remodeling. There was a strong cigarette odor. The room surfaces were covered with a sticky brown substance, the phone had no cover so the electronics were showing. They had drilled behind the Television and there was sawdust all over the floor. I understand the remodeling but they should have had a few nice rooms. "Under construction, avoid until that is done"
Stayed in this hotel while going thru Cincinnati. The hotel appears to have recently changed ownership and is under construction. The state of the hotel is very bad. Here are some points from my stay: * No WI-FI in the room, could get it in the lobby but I wouldn't want to sit there for long. * Room was in bad shape. There was a bad smell, the shower […] curtain bar was not attached to the wall (just balanced on top of the wall). The toilet had not been cleaned for a while and there was trash under the bed. Couldn't use any of the dressers because the drawers were falling appart. * Breakfast was bad by even cheap hotel standards. This hotel might be ok when they are done remodeling but until then do not stay here. Call ahead and specifically ask if you are getting a room that has been finished otherwise it is too expensive. "Keepin it real!"
This hotel is a must stay for people anyone who likes to keep it real. If you are not one of those people, you will not like this place. Here are some of the touches I particularly appreciated: a party bus that had stopped at an adjoining bar called Hooligans, the door numbers were on pieces of paper affixed to the doors with various kinds of tape (scotch, […] electric, masking), a cigarette burn on the toilet seat, and what looked like the blood on the ceiling. The people were truly friendly, and told us we should look at the room before we made our final decision. They were surprised when we decided to stay. The place was surprisingly quiet (considering the party bus) and the beds were comfortable. The air condition totally rocked. I would stay here again, but its not for everyone. Lesa meira
"Days Inn the ghetto"
HORRIBLE HOTEL. Smelled like the guest before us smoked weed the entire time, the ashes were still on the night stand! The only reason we stayed was because I had already paid for it and don't have the budget to go to another hotel. It was under construction, which wasn't mentioned on the site during booking; they said they had a pool, but it was closed […] b/c of the construction; the room itself WAS NOT CLEAN! We found a previous guests hat under the bed! The sliding glass door was being held shut by a bar! The lock didn't work! The only upside is that there actually weren't any bed bugs, which was shocking. All in all a disgusting flea bag hotel. Lesa meira
