"Miðsvæðis og þægilegt."
Umsögn frá gesti Hotels.com á 21. des. 2012Channel Inn reyndist mun betra hótel en ég átti von á miðað við verð. Herbergið var rúmgott og þægilegt, öll aðstaða á hótelinu sjálfu til fyrirmyndar og starfsfólkið yndislegt. Eina sem ég saknaði var að geta hellt upp á kaffi á herberginu - en hægt var að panta upp á herbergi. Staðsetningin hótelsins er frábært, stutt í allt, innan við 10 mínútna gangur í Metro (þar á meðal L'Enfant Place hvaðan leiðir liggja í allar áttir) og notalegt að fá sér göngutúr meðfram ánni, en hótelið sendur við hana. Ég mæli með þessu hóteli.

Umsögn frá gesti Hotels.com á 11. des. 2012Dvölin var góð og innra fyrirkomulag íbúðarinnar hentaði okkur 3 fullorðnum mjög vel. Allur búnaður í eldhúsi var viðeigandi. Íbúðin var rúmgóð og staðsetning milli Georgstown annars vegar og miðhluta Washingtonborgar hinsvegar var góð.

"Not a typical Kimpton"
I'm used to the Hotel Monaco and the service and rooms are amazing! Because it was so last minute, we had to book the Hotel Rouge. We LOVED staying here! We were attending a show at the 930 club and wanted to stay some where close enough for a cheap cab ride but not spend an insane amount of money on a hotel or stay somewhere stale or pretentious. Rouge fit the bill for us in all ways possible! The staff was very friendly, the hotel was very pretty and stylish. Our room was fantastic! […] We had an amazing king bed with a really cool red leather headboard, a retro mini fridge stocked with really interesting snacks and a huge bathroom. We had no complaints what so ever. "Great Location and friendly staff"
This was my first time staying at any of the Kimptons Hotels. I was very sceptical because of the price I paid for it was like "too good to be truth", but to my surprise was a very nice one. When I arrived around 11am the employee at the front desk was super friendly. I got my room but I didn't like the view. I called the front desk to see if the could […] give me another room and the employee with no problem gave me a room with a better view and to my surprise, no extra charge. We have stayed at other Kimpton hotels and I was expecting that level of a hotel experience. Unfortunately there are issues with this Kimpton property. First, there is no parking so if you drive to the hotel you will have to pay 39.95 per day plus tax for their valet service (that does not include tipping the valet) or you can risk/try street parking. […] Next, besides Lucas who works the bar the rest of the stay is rather abrupt like they do not like their job. Large room. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Safe in room-good. Very quiet. In room temperature control of hvac was excellent. We visit our son every Thanksgiving for 3-4 days and I have stayed in almost every hotel around Logan Circle, including one of yours, the Helix and this time I found the jewel ....the Rouge was definitely the best I've […] stayed in. "Seeing Rouge"
Our son works in DC and we stayed in the Rouge over the Thanksgiving holiday--mostly for the location (near Dupont Circle). But we would up really liking the hotel much more than we thought we would. The rooms were spacious and the work area looked like a place where I could get a lot done, if I was so inclined (which I wasn't!). Very comfortable Aeron-type […] desk chair, tons of space, outlets within reach, and very good lighting. My wife also got a kick out of the leopard-spotted terry robes "on sale" for $90-- but stiff as boards from previous washings). The hotel bar also proved to be a nice place for a late glass of wine. "Great staff"
I thought everyone was there was kind, helpful and friendly. The rooms were nice. Not into all the stock art on the walls, but... it's a hotel. The restaurant and bar were also very good. I wish they would stay open later. Like midnight or so? I don't understand why hotels close their bar and encourage guests to go out on the town when you're perfectly […] comfortable there. The rates were very reasonable and I feel I got more than I paid for. I come to DC often and have stayed at other Kimptons while in town. This is one that I'll certainly be back to and soon. Like.... "Unique hotel, comfortable stay"
I like the color sceme of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cordless phone in my room needed to be sanitized. It looked dirty. Overall, I like the environment of the hotel and I will book a room there on my next trip back to D.C.Ósvikin umsögn gests á Hotels.com

"Not what I expected"
Overall our stay was okay once we arrived to our room we tried flushing the toilet and realized that it was clogging up we called the front desk and they told us their "engineer" would not be able to fix the problem until the next morning. They told us they could not switch us to another room because they were sold out I am not sure if this was true […] but it was quite an inconvenience. "Fantastic hotel, great location....."
This hotel is in a great location, just a few blocks away from The Whitehouse. What was not noted at the time of booking in to the hotel was the volume of pets permitted - the hotel at times feels like it's being over run by dogs. I was here on business and the location was close to my office but as a business person I was not able to take advantage […] of the wine in the evening because it runs 5.00pm until 6.00pm. "Good location : $7 taxi ride to everything!"
great service from Check-in to Bell Boy, bar service ..it was all friendly and very very good. Rooms were a nice size, had all the usual stuff and decor was upbeat and modern. From the moment I entered the Rouge, I sensed that this would be a memorable experience. I was greeted by the hotel staff and quickly checked in. I then proceeded to my room, opened the door and could not believe what I saw! Vibrant red colors, modern decor eclectic designs....I had just found my favorite new boutique hotel. Moments later I was texting […] this same message to a good friend. I plan on making this my new go to hotel when I am in Washington, DC. The valet parking is great, the staff was amazing and the amenities in the room far and away the best I have encountered. Exactly how I would run and manage a hotel. "Awesome hotel stay for bachelorette party"
Some girlfriends and i stayed at hotel rouge for a bride to be bachelorette party. It has great decor and got a free bottle of wine and cheese. We were able to walk to local bars and resturants. Everyone there was friendly and very helpful. Would definetly stay there again.Ósvikin umsögn gests á Hotels.com
