We chose this location, originally told 'No Problem' being picked up from the AMTrack station and to also the return trip back. We were told only if they had time to take us - that was a courtesy and not guarenteed. Also promised free shuttle service to the cruise terminal (only to terminal - would not pick up from the terminal - had to get a taxi). […] Promised free shuttle service to the cruise terminal when booked the room; them upon check in; $8 a voucher, which the driver never collected. Wonder how many people were not charged that fee. Manager even wanted to say that all vouchers are collected, I still have mine. Then wanted to argue about courtesy shuttle taking us back to the train station. Spent two nights in the non-smoking area. After reading reviews I wasn't sure, but took the chance and was very impressed. Very clean rooms & breakfast was great. The bed was comfortable. "Super hotel"
I recently was in Miami for the World Baseball Classic, Panther hockey game and was flying out of Ft. Lauderdale aiport. Finding a hotel was a nightmare in terms of convenience to all areas. I found a review on the Days Inn that gave it a thumbs up and I totally concur. It is an easy off the I-95, it is minutes from North Hollywood beach and minutes […] from the airport and about half way between the hockey and baseball. I arrived early and the excellent hostess found me a room. The room was large, clean and had a flat screen tv with high def and many channels. Breakfast was very good in the morning and the lady there was continually replenishing and keeping it clean. The pool was cold but the hot tub hit the spot. You can hear the I95 closeby but my room faced it. The white noise actually helped me sleep but if you have problems with that perhaps ask for a room at the rear of the hotel. There are plenty of closeby resaurants, banks etc. down the street minutes by car. If you have business in north Miami/Hollywood I highly recommend this hotel. Hotels worked well for our needs. Van pick up at the airport was efficient as well as the transfer ( $8.00 extra per person) to the cruise terminal. Breakfast has a lot of choices. This concerns one of the two rooms we rented> The air was not on when we arrived in Hollwywood , Florida . Eighty degrees outside. The room was had a musty gas smell that would give you a headache. We asked maintenance to check the room . He said he didn't know what was causing the problem and didnt know how to fix it. We requested to be moved to another […] room but there was none available . These problems were not passed to the morning manager and they knew nothng about the problems. They did bring us a fan and opened the windows to let the smell out.They don't communicate there.Frankly , I don't think we should be required to pay for the first night lodging because of this.That same smell was still there the next day. This hotel is in need of remodeling and updating. No window or exhaust fan in bathroom. Elevator very slow. However, more could have been done to create better service with current situation. "Great night sleep."
The Days Inn South is perfectly located close to the airport, so no rushing to make my flights. The only small issue is there is no shuttle from the cruise port to pick up customers. "Free Airport Shuttle"
The staff were very accommodating and provided dining options since there wasn't much by the hotel. The complimentary shuttle to the airport was a huge plus. They had a wide variety of breakfast items to choose from in the morning. Everyone was very friendly.Ósvikin umsögn gesta á Expedia

"Clean, simple, accommodation"
It was close to the Oakwood mall which was very convenient. You could walk there but it's best to have a car for convenience, to go to the grocery store and beach. The breakfast was good but they need to give you something larger than a styrofoam side plate. I went to K-Mart at the mall and bought my own dishes. I never went to the Denny's next door […] (had car and went to Hollywood Beach) and never used the pool. It was isolated and not very inviting and with the beach so near, why bother. Very close to the freeway and you can hear it at night so if you're a light sleeper, this would not be good for you. Breakfast consisted of waffles and pancakes (for toaster), toast, croissants, cereal, juice, coffee/tea. The hot items varied from day to day, eggs, sausage, biscuits with gravy. There was instant oatmeal and grits and some apples and oranges. It was nice to have a microwave and fridge in the room. Definitely need a car and try West Lake Park with the water park if you have kids. Nice quiet park with nice trails to walk. Lesa meiraÓsvikin umsögn gests á Hotels.com

"Hotel is tired."
It is a tired hotel that is in need of work. The staff seemed friendly enough, but seemed annoyed when asked to help with requests. Airport pickup is sketchy and cruise port shuttle is not efficient.
