Flott hótel í gömlu húsi en full hljóðbært á milli herbergja. Var með herbergi út að götu og það er slatta traffík þarna hjá allan sólarhringinn. Einnig fór gesturinn í herberginu fyrir ofan okkur að færa til hús gögn kl. 5 um morguninn.

"Positive front-desk experience"
The welcome from the guy at front desk (sorry bad memory for names :-( ! ) was a really positive and helpful one. Room was comfortable, balcony overlooking the 4th fairway, pool & hot spa. Good location, with coastal path & ocean just down the road (by Ritz-Carlton). The complimentary breakfast was extremely popular, and only gripe was they had nowhere […] near enough tables/seats to cater for the demand, and only one member of staff to replenish the food supplies. "Romantic and Quiet"
Half Moon Bay Lodge is a pleasant, romantic location suitable for a nice weekend away. The king-size bed regular room was large and comfortable. The staff was not intrusive, but tasks were completed as needed. The complimentary breakfast exceeded "Continental" in my book, and was, in fact, a full breakfast. "Nice for golfers but very cold"
This hotel is south of Half Moon Bay so if you are headed that way or are playing golf at the near-by course, it's location is great. My room with a view of the duck pond was actually a room with a huge tree out the window...no view and dark. The heat never seemed sufficient. I left a day early.
"personal get-away"
Every year I like to go away by myself and do some self reflection, relaxation, and life evaluation. This hotel was a great place for that. No freeway or highway noise, nice and well kept surroundings and grounds. Extra clean rooms. Polite and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Everything I needed.

This hotel was well off the highway, so there was no traffic noise. There was, however, noise from the room above. We called and got nowhere, but a call to the office worked very well. The breakfast was pretty good, and the view from the sliding doors was of a golf course with houses behind, so it was almost like a resort. The rooms could use a little updating. They are stuck in the 80's decor wise, but having one's own very private balcony with potted flowers on it more than makes up for any update needs. A wonderful romantic week-end get away place.

"Waste of Money"
This hotel abuses the fact that it is right next to the sea and the golf course. Aside from a large room, there was nothing that distinguished this from your basic hotel room. The wifi was stunningly bad and the walls were very thin. I could hear the conversations in the neighboring rooms and there was no way to turn a fan on all night. You may also […] want to know that there was no air conditioning, though you probably won't need it in HMB. I also find it funny when hotels put HDTVs in the rooms but are too cheap to spring for HD cable. Anyway, it wasn't a bad place to stay, but it was rather overpriced and it felt like they were cutting corners. Wonderful place to stay! Unfortunately, breakfast wasn't as good as previous stays here. Muffins and bagels were stale; food items weren't restocked as frequently as they should have been based on the number of guests who were there; no eggs; cold items weren't as cold as they should have been.

"Has potential"
This property could be such a gold mine. The layout is unique and there are many interesting features. However, the rooms are not well cleaned ( I found 3 hairs in the sink and a pink pill on the floor of the main room), the sliding door to the balcony didn't slide, and the plumbing is ancient. "Better than expected"
Beautifully designed and furnished for a BW. Nice heated pool and spa. Very good stopover on a family trip.
The room we stayed in was exceptional, the staff prompt and courteous, I will highly recommend the Best Western at Half Moon Bay Ca. to all of my friends and business customers.

I chose this location because of it's proximity to our final destination. I enjoyed my overnight stay and the breakfast was good. I wish I'd known more about the area to have enjoyed activities close by.

This place is very nice and is right off scenic Highway 1. The staff was friendly, the room was big and clean and the outside was gorgeous. The morning breakfast was your typical continental breakfast but the room was really nice with a nice warm fireplace. My husband and I stayed at the Best Western Plus Half Moon Bay Lodge for two nights. The service was amazing. The folks at the front desk were very helpful, day or night. They were able to give us ideas about what to do around town, inform us of local events, and make reservations for us anywhere we wanted to go. We felt very well taken care of. The […] hotel is quiet, the rooms very large and clean. You have to drive into town for meals and such, but you're right by the beach and the golf course. I came down to Half Moon Bay for a good friend's Birthday. I was traveling with my sister-in-law. We both thought the room was wonderful. My sister-in-law went to use the pool and hot tub. Half Moon Bay is one of the most beautiful areas of the country and this hotel offers a great value for the area. Our room was large and so comfortable with a amazing view over-looking the Ritz Golf Course. It was quiet and had a patio and overall was just a great night.

If you want to get out of the packed Bay area, then this is it!. Quiet. Room was extremely comfortable. A few miles out of town so requires travel into town for dinner/amenities. Onsite restaurent just okay.

The only glitch was our son was unable to stay the 2nd night but we still had to pay for the empty room since they said they had a 2 night min. We were hoping the fact we were paying for 2 other rooms and it was the weekend of the Pumpkin festival and they would have no problem filling the […] room they would re consider, but no. No tub in bathroom. Room across from vending machine and maid station - LOUD noises until wee hours of morning.
