Flott hótel í gömlu húsi en full hljóðbært á milli herbergja. Var með herbergi út að götu og það er slatta traffík þarna hjá allan sólarhringinn. Einnig fór gesturinn í herberginu fyrir ofan okkur að færa til hús gögn kl. 5 um morguninn.

Hótelið er í góðu umhverfi og starfsfólk mjög vinalegt. Rétt handan við hornið eru sporvagnarnir bæði gömlu sem fara upp brekkurnar og í gegnum ítalska og kínahverfið og endar á Market þar sem allar verslanirnar eru. Nýju sporvagnarnir þeir fara meðfram bryggjunum og sjávarsíðunni og hægt er að taka þá eða labba að bryggju 35 að mig minnir þar sem ferjan til Alcatrez er. Eina sem hefði fullkomnað þessa hóteldvöl var ef það hefði verið þráðlaust net upp í herberginu. En það er eingöngu í andyrinu. Mun klárlega gista aftur á þessu hóteli í framtíðinni þegar farið verður aftur til San Francisco

Við vorum að leita að hóteli miðsvæðis í San Francisco og sem væri á hagstæðu verði, hreinlegt. Hótel Diva uppfyllti þessar kröfur auk þess að vera með mjög góða og persónulega þjónustu.

"Overnight Stay"
This hotel was filty and rundown; inside and outside of the rooms. Desk people were rude.
The room "smelled" clean when we first arrived but quickly began smelling of sewage. Tv from upstairs could be heard clearly with door and windows shut. Vent fan in bathroom did not work and as a result there was a LOT of mold. Toilet backed up. Overall this hotel sucked and the management was polite but extremely slow and did not seem to place customer […] satisfaction very high in their priorities. "Paint hides the truth"
At first glance the fresh paint and gleaming pool offer a restful stay. Then you try to check in. The gentleman at the front desk made no huge effort to look for my easily missed placed conformation. After a call to Hotel.com to fax yet another confermation then and only then he offered some service. Pass the dim light jockeying the front desk, the […] maze awaits you with a mindless layout to search for your room. Did I mention most of the hotel house residents. "Budget Inn of Hayward is terrible"
Worst servive ever. They gave away my hotel room after booking a week in advanced and i called in the morning to confirm and said it would be held for me then proceeded to rent it out. The guys that run the place are rude, and proceeded to have attitude towards me when they didnt believe i had a reservation through Hotels.com. Ruined my Valentine's […] Day and didnt so much as to say sorry. All in all worst hotel Ive ever been to in my life. Very disrespectful owners! Lesa meira
"Bait & Switch"
They sent me first to a room on the 4th floor that smelled like DEATH!!!! ... I called them on the phone inside the room and they sent me to another room on the 2nd floor that was way better. I would have wrote a more stellar review had I got a better room initially because it did have a king size bed that was very nice. "Bad Customer Service/Safety Issues"
By the looks this hotel is great. I had a room on the 5th floor, the stair well was not lighted and it was raining. I slipped on the pealing safety strips, some of which were just dangling. I brought the issue to the hotel's attention, no one responded until I had call for the first 2 days regarding the safety of the stairs. Next my coffee maker didn't […] work. I simply asked them to replace it. 2 days later I took the broken one to their office and then I got results. I changed to a 2 bed room due to family arriving from out of town. Left an item in the other room but no one went to get it, I asked for 2 days and of course by the time they decided to respond, it was gone. Who took it? ???? I also noticed a homeless guy sitting and walking around which made me feel unconfortable. It appears that the best rooms 100-300 weren't offered to me, Why? ???? But the rooms 400-600 are for people who I feel, the hotel thinks they don't need to impress. Maybe they thought I was use to the ghetto feel of life. I really expected more from this stay, which ended up being 9 days. Next time I will go to another hotel, even if I have to pay more. Lesa meira

"Do Not Book This Hotel"
If English is your only language, and you like a clean hotel room or the ability to stay in a room where there aren't surfed drug addicts and midnight lurkers roaming around your door --- do yourself a favor and don't even bother. Did I mention NO HOT WATERI don't remember how many stars this hotel had but it should not even score a corner of the star. […] Wish I could upload a picture of the actual room. "Horrifying experience"
This hotel is hell on earth. When we walked in, the room was crappy. Pillows flat; towels dingy, and brown dirty carpet. But it was when we discovered blood drops all over the floor that we said we've gotta get out of here....didn't want to be sleeping at a potential crime scene lol. We were able to change rooms, however, but that room was only slightly […] better. There was this emaculate odor that seemed to stick to the walls. We basically had no where else to go...thx to the no refunds policy. So we made do, slept there but were ever so uncomfortable sleeping with towels over our pillows and nnot using the covers....talk about torture. Never again!!!! Don't stay at this roach motel!! "Budget Inn Of Hayward"
On the first night of our stay we found out that our AC was not working at all. We informed the manager about it and to our surprise he was not at all helpful. Instead of sending someone to look into it including himself he asked us to try this and that for around an hour and half. After that he came to see the room (around after 1.5 hrs)By this time […] we were totally tired and exhausted,so we got little angry because of such timely service. Instead of apolizing us he asked as why are we getting so excited. This was ridiculous.We were shifted to another room the next day. It was a very horrible experience. They could not find our reservation, and did not even bother to look for at all. I have to call the hotel.com and asked them send the reservation to them again.

"The Budget Inn of Hayward"
once we arrived the rooms were not clean and had an odor problem. The carpets were torn and had holes in it. There was visible mold throughout the room in the bathrooms also. i had to go out and buy disinfectant before using any of the things in the room. My family and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
"Horrible Experience"
First, the hotel was filthy. My daughter walked on the carpet in her white socks for a couple of hours and the bottom of her socks were BLACK. The walls were dirty with smudges and the door had footprints on them. The bedspread had holes in it. I was on the bottom floor and everytime the person walked the floor above squeaked loudly and the person above […] me walked all night long. I had to call the front desk several times regarding this issue. I did not sleep at all. There is NOTHING appealing about this hotel. "Not what we expected"
The hotel had stained and dirty floors. Breakfast was supposed to go until 9:00am but most of the food was gone by 8:00am. It was a convenient location as it was close to the freeway system.

The walls are very thin,.... i could hear people from both sides of the room... some people were banging the door, and i slept very little... just noisy. Oh.... I killed a roach!..
"Not that bad"
I didn't read the reviews on line before booking the hotel...which after I did, I was petrified. I was stuck since the advance payment was not refundable. So the best I could do was what another reviewer did...I asked to see the room prior to giving my credit card and to signing for the room. This room was better than my previous booking with hotel.com. […] The bed was better. The room was clean, sheets clean, bathroom very clean. The room had all that it advertised. NO, it is not the Hilton, Hyatt or Marriott, all hotels that I have stayed at...but with my new company I am on a tighter budget. I would stay at this hotel again. "Shocking experience"
This hotel is very dirty, funiture is in poor condition (headboardand and nightstands have graffitie scratched in). There is a traffic of people coming and going. As the evening rolled in the lighting fixtures were all unplugged and needed to be plugged in, we began to plug the fixtures when poof the outlet blow up shocking me and burning the bedding.....please […] do not stay here. "Not happy at all"
Switched rooms three times because they were nasty and dirty, ac didn't work in one room bit the office found me the cleanest room which still sucked.
Not at all impressed. The room was filthy, I tend to see the little stuff but boogers on the bathroom wall was probly the breaking point.

"A Decent Place to Stay for a Decent Price"
Overall experience is satisfied, everything is as expected. I did hear some argument by others outside as others reviewed earlier, but it is bearable. I would recommend this place to others if you want a decent rate for staying.

We would never stay at this hotel again, it was very dirty and people coming and going all night.
"Needs Improvement"
This hotel while better than the super 8 down the street, was not very nice. My non-smoking room had cigarette burns through the comforter, there were spiders in the bathroom, and it just overall needed a spruce up inside (it looks like they have just redone the outside.) The reason for my stay was I had to be in Hayward for an early meeting the next […] morning, but I would of gotten more sleep had I stayed at home and gotten up in the middle of the night to drive there because people were blasting music until 3am. i like the new exterior look of the hotel its like if you were in las vegas ... also i like the their service ... great place to stay in hayward nice amenities and good for travel also nice BIG PARKING LOT HIGHLY RECOMMENED BY ME also they should change the star rating to 4-5 stars; they deserve it.

"Scary Place!"
People coming in and out all hours of the night. Yelling, screaming at each other. A couple of the lights were broken. The front desk guy said he said he would bring one but never did. It was dirty & messy and run down.
"Needs serious improvement"
The room STUNK badly. It wasnt all that clean. There was an ancient carpet that looked so dirty that we would not walk on it without shoes. The staff was ok. The breakfast they provide was not good. I would stay somewhere else.
