Frábær staðsettning í göngufæri við helstu merkisstaði og söfn Wasingtons. Herbergin rúmgóð og hlíleg, Morgunverðarborðið eitt það allrabesta sem fyrir finnst í Bandaríkjunum. Starfsfólkið hjálplegt og yndislegt í alla staði. Mæli með þessu eindregið.

Gisti í eina nótt og herbergið var mjög stórt og vel útbúið, nánast eins og svíta! Gott stórt rúm og fínt bað/sturta, stór sturtuhaus. Góður klæðaskápur m straubretti og járni. Ísskápur og kaffivél. Skrifborð og stóll og tölvusamband gott. Setustofa með sófasetti og allt mjög rúmgott og snyrtilegt. Mæli hiklaust með þessu hóteli og mun leita eftir Hyatt Place ef ég þarf í framtíð. Verðið var mjög sanngjarnt.
Mögulegt er að gjalds verði krafist fyrir aukagesti. Slíkt fer eftir stefnu hvers hótels fyrir sig.
Krafist er skilríkja með mynd og kreditkorts eða innborgunar við innritun vegna tilfallandi gjalda.

"Easy access from interstate"
We have stayed at other hotels in the area due to the fact that I am a cancer patient at NIH in Bethesda. We found the Comfort Inn to be the most comfortable and nicest of all that we stayed at and will continue to stay there on future visits. It had alot of personal touches like a live plant in the bathroom, things like cotton balls and q tips, and […] FREE bottled water in the room. Beds were very comfortable and atmosphere was very homey and CLEAN. The price was very comparable to the others yet had much more to offer including a FULL hot buffet breakfast which saves you money right there. "Stayed 4 Nights Very Comfortably"
It was great. The hotel is a little less than a mile from the end of the red line, there is a shuttle but it is definitely walkable if you don't mind doing that. We walked it once at 11PM, felt totally safe, nice area, I recommend it. Also they are "going green" so you can choose if you want your sheets and towels changed so that was cool too.
Love this hotel and that it is pet friendly. Unfortunately on this particular stay there were people smoking in the nonsmoking rooms in this nonsmoking hotel so the staff Had to remind these rude guests and the situation was remedied.

I was on a last minute business trip to Gaithersburg and arrived very later after a delayed flight. The Hilton hotel in that area was already booked, so I went to Tripadvisor for other suggestions. I decided to try the Comfort Inn strictly based on it's No. 1 spot on Tripadvisor. The outside of the hotel appears to be an older property and not in a […] great area, but located near the freeway. I was completely blown away by the condition of the property on the inside. This hotel is obviously run by a management staff that understands the importance of maintaining an older property. Everything from the hallway carpeting, walls, entry doors and the bathrooms were immaculate. The decor is still dated and not current, but the hotel was so clean that it made up for the lake of trendy furnishings. There was a very decent breakfast included in the rate and the staff was very helpful and efficient from the front desk to the housekeeping staff. I am not much of a fan of Comfort Inns as a brand, but I would definitely consider staying at this hotel in the future. It was a good value for the dollar. Lesa meira

This hotel was one of the most comfortable hotels in my stays in the DC area. Able to take the subway access to my destinations daily without having to deal with taxi or driving which made it the place I would stay when I return to the area away from the business and tourist areas

"Surprisingly good service"
Reliable, friendly shuttle to/from Metro station. One day when shuttle wasn't going to be available, hotel ordered and paid for a cab. A couple of restaurants within walking distance. Packages shipped to and from hotel were reliably delivered. I will stay here again the next time I am in the area for business.

"Great place to stay just outside D.C."
This was a great experience for my husband and me on our recent trip to the D.C. area. We didn't want to stay in the city, but wanted a place close enough that we could commute a couple of days so that we could visit some of the sights in the city. The hotel was clean (always my main concern) and updated. The staff was extremely helpful with driving […] directions, metro instructions and even suggestions about local restaurants, etc. The free shuttle to and from the metro was convenient, and prompt and extremely helpful. All in all, this was a great experience, and I definitely would recommend it to friends and family planning a trip to the D.C. area. It was a good value. We were extremely pleased. The staff was most accommodating. Having a shuttle to the Metro station was very convenient. They also gave us a card with nearby restaurants listed, along with discount, which was very useful. The one point of criticism was that, in the interest of conserving energy, they suggested not washing the towels every day. We were more than happy to do this, […] but there was no place to hang our used towels. There were only two hooks on the back of the door, but towels hung there didn't dry. Or we could flip them over the shower curtain rod, but that was kind of sloppy. A couple of towel bars in the bathroom would be very helpful. Lesa meira

Comfort Inn at Shady Grove, MD is very nice, clean hotel locted near Metro station. Also cloe interstate.
"Comfort Inn Shady Grove - perfect for NIH visitors"
This hotel is right at the end of the Metro Red Line, 5 stops north of NIH. Half the price of the Bethesda hotels, and they do give special NIH rates. There is a free shuttle that will take you to the metro station, but not much else around. A small 7-11, an excellent Indian restaurant, and that's pretty much it. I was told that Maryland State reserves […] 10 rooms at the hotel for people who are in 'difficulties' - I met a woman & her two adult children who were staying there after their home had been foreclosed. You won't be in a room next to Brad Pitt - but I like the intimacy, and the staff are always exceptionally helpful & polite. Breakfast is OK if a bit 'samey'. It's clean, beds are comfy, and really good value. There is a good bus service to Lake Forest Mall from outside the hotel. Not a good choice if you want to tootle around Capitol Hill & the museums, as it's a long metro ride into the centre, but perfect for NIH. Lesa meira

We stayed during the 4th of July, 2011 weekend. Good service, convenient to everything, free breakfast and nice, clean rooms and service. They should really upgrade the 'pool' though or just don't offer it. Its too small. They are pet friendly and is a good choice for the money and services. Would stay there again.

This was the worst Comfort Inn I have ever been in. To begin with, there was no on-site maintenance staff, so when I informed the desk upon my arrival that there was no luggage rack in the room I was told that nothing could be done since the maintenance staff had gone for the day (at 6pm Friday). Only after my insisting that this was totally unsatisfactory […] did anyone get to work on the problem, somehow coming up with one luggage rack an hour later. There are no usable surfaces for luggage, so a second rack was needed; it didn't arrive until Saturday, so it was necessary to share a bed with a suitcase for one night. In addition there are numerous sub-standard features of the physical accommodations: There is no usable closet space, since the entire bottom half of the closet is filled by a useless safe! The grab bar in the shower area is mounted behind the shower spout, completely inaccessible should the bather slip; this is a very serious safety failure. There are no towel bars, and the only towel racks are on the farthest wall from the bathtub. The only table is a small desk between the beds, and it is fully occupied by the one phone and the alarm clock. Although the rooms provide wireless net access, there are no electrical receptacles to plug a computer or cell phone charger into. The Shady Grove Comfort Inn is new, and on the whole, it appears that the management is unaware of what such safety features as a grab-bar are for, what towels are for, and what amenities are normally available in older Comfort Inns. "Shady Grove Comfort Inn in Gaithersburg, MD"
We stayed 4 nights in this hotel and enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff was responsive to our needs especially for the little things that went wrong (TV troubles) and the front desk was very friendly whenever we asked for the best local street routes especially when headed towards DC. The last Metro Red line stop is […] near the hotel. The breakfast buffet was very good and especially the donuts that were available for my sons. Outdoor pool was small but adequate. A lifeguard was always on duty. I used the exercise equipment a couple of the days during my stay which has a set of treadmills and a weight machine. For the price, I would recommend the hotel. "Stay close to DC without the hassle"
This Comfort Inn is located at a perfect location. It is close to the Metro and close to the new toll road that connects Shady Grove to Georgia Ave where Leisure World is located. There are some great places to eat located nearby. Plus, they have a good breakfast that is free. We would definately stay here again.

"Noisy Ventilation"
The old air conditioning/ventilation system in my room kept me up most of the night. I kept rattling and vibrating all night long. No matter what I did, I couldn't get the noise to stop. In addition, the old-fashioned TV kept cutting out with interference and static after being in sue for less than 10 minutes.

Our soccer team stayed there for tournament. Very nice and clean and priced well. They had all the amenities we wanted, such as a pool and barbecue grill. Staff was very friendly, and they had a nice assortment of food for breakfast.

I have stayed at this fine establishment five times in the past year when on business in D.C. Although it is some distance out of the city, the proximity of the hotel to the Shady Grove Metro and the free, on-demand shuttle makes this hotel convenient for those who wish to go to D.C. but prefer not to pay rates that are two to three times higher for […] hotels closer in. The property is attractive, comfortable, and well maintained, offering a respectable hot breakfast, morning newspaper, exercise facility, complimentary Wi-Fi, free parking, and discounts at several nearby restaurants. If going to use metro into Washington DC this place is very close to Shady Grove Metro Station. Very clean nice breakfast and comfortable beds

"not bad"
Not a bad place to stay, but slightly down in the gills. My only complaint is the smell of smoke, possibly from smokers outside too close to the building, there was a sitting area below my window. It could be they don't clean the rooms properly or enforce their policy, however, I never really figured out where it was from.

"Pretty Decent; Good Value"
Positives: Attractive lobby & room decor, room was clean, free parking, great free hot breakfast, great to have a mini-fridge in the room thats actually useable & not just filled with overpriced snacks, nice big truly king-sized bed, lots of pillows, no annoying hidden charges or extra fees at this hotel. Negatives: Mattress, although big, was pretty […] hard, room was small, internet only worked about half the time, & neighborhood was a little scary. Overall, a good value for the price. "Not very thrilled"
The room was good, but there were a few problems. There was no internet service, which is a must for me due to my job. They said that it was because there was a storm on the previous night and all of the hotels in the area were without service. I find this rather hard to believe since I was able to go to a hotel less than 1/2 mile away that a co-worker […] was staying at and he had service. On the first night, there was no hot water. The front desk personnel had no idea why and did nothing to assist. After a day of working in the extreme heat, a shower would have been nice. The hotel leaves bottles of water in the room. However, they should check to see if the bottles left for the previous room holder were opened. Both of the bottles in my room were opened and partially empty. Lesa meira
