Check-in took a bit longer than I'm used to (this was the 3rd time I've stayed at this hotel). "Hilton needs an upgrade all around"
Room was dirty. Staff was indifferent. Elevators took 5-10 minutes to arrive. We were informed by the hotel that they would be upgrading the internet on our floor and as such, required us to checkout in a timely manner. Checkout was listed as 11am. At 9:00 am, a member of the staff actually entered our room with a master key and asked us to get prepared […] to checkout. It was unnerving to see a man enter our room. Very odd. It was 73 degrees in our room and we sleep with it at 70. We called the front desk and they told us that they did not have the main a/c on; to quit trying to run it in our room. They told us to open our window (only opened 2" on the 28th floor) and sent us a very small fan. We requested a fan for the room next door where 2 of our adult kids were but […] it never arrived. Check-in was a nightmare - there were 40-50 people ahead of me when I arrived at 11 pm and literally a hundred kids running around the lobby from some sort of NYC tour. Very good. Signs on the doors inviting customers to join Hilton Honors listed Wi Fi in the room. After joining, we discovered it's only for Gold members. That's misleading. They also don't give Hilton points if you reserve through other than Hilton. Friendly staff and accommodating on check out time when we needed to stay a bit late to attend a Parkinson's […] walk in Central Park. It's right near MOMA, which is free on Friday nights. "conference with a little personal time"
The lobby is very impressive however the carpet in the hallways in the upper floors is in need of replacement. The bathrooms are very tight with just a smidgen of counter space. As a tall person, I had to duck under the shower curtain bar and wasn't really comfortable with my head being just a few inches shy of hitting the ceiling - and the peeling […] paint. The trim on the mirror has been repainted numerous times and the enamel in the tub is weathering away. Great proximity to 5th Ave. shops and theatre district and fabulous restaurants. Nice hotel in the middle of everything in midtown. Lobby was very nice but our floor had not been remodeled yet so the room and the hallway was looking very worn. "Family Vacation at Hilton"
The room was great, no complaints other than how long it took to get it. We were unable to check in until 9pm and before that were sent to two rooms which had not yet been cleaned since the last checkout. Also the wait time for the elevators was terrible.Ósvikin umsögn gests á Hotels.com

"Fabulous!"
We had a great time. Everyone in the hotel was very friendly and eager to help. I had an issue with my parking and the on duty manger that day took care of it instantly. I highly recommend this hotel, and I will definitly be back.Ósvikin umsögn gests á Hotels.com

"Clean, great location"
Everything was perfect except the mattress. It wasn't super uncomfortable, but there was a "slant" to it. Like typically there is probably only 1 person in the bed - and they sleep on the side with the night stand. So the opposite side of the bed slanted in that direction. Not a huge thing. "Great location - close to sites and shopping!"
We arrived on Thursday am and the hotel was great about storing our luggage, at no-charge, until our room was ready. The hotel is in a great location with a few blocks to Times Square in one direction and a few blocks to great shopping in the other direction. Staff was friendly and willing to help with directions and restaurant recommendations. The […] room was clean and only complaint is the fan in bathroom did not work which made it kind of steamy, but it was tolerable.
