Flott hótel í gömlu húsi en full hljóðbært á milli herbergja. Var með herbergi út að götu og það er slatta traffík þarna hjá allan sólarhringinn. Einnig fór gesturinn í herberginu fyrir ofan okkur að færa til hús gögn kl. 5 um morguninn.

Hótelið er í góðu umhverfi og starfsfólk mjög vinalegt. Rétt handan við hornið eru sporvagnarnir bæði gömlu sem fara upp brekkurnar og í gegnum ítalska og kínahverfið og endar á Market þar sem allar verslanirnar eru. Nýju sporvagnarnir þeir fara meðfram bryggjunum og sjávarsíðunni og hægt er að taka þá eða labba að bryggju 35 að mig minnir þar sem ferjan til Alcatrez er. Eina sem hefði fullkomnað þessa hóteldvöl var ef það hefði verið þráðlaust net upp í herberginu. En það er eingöngu í andyrinu. Mun klárlega gista aftur á þessu hóteli í framtíðinni þegar farið verður aftur til San Francisco

Við vorum að leita að hóteli miðsvæðis í San Francisco og sem væri á hagstæðu verði, hreinlegt. Hótel Diva uppfyllti þessar kröfur auk þess að vera með mjög góða og persónulega þjónustu.

"Great location but lacked basic amenities."
We were greeted by one desk person who was on the phone. 15 min wait to check in. One bath towel for a family of 4 but that's ok because there was NO HOT WATER!!! Not even warm water. Bedding did not fit the king bed so the "fitted sheet" came up and I was worried my kids would end up sleeping on the mattress - gross. No extra blankets for the sleeper […] sofa. I was cold all night. On the plus side, there were waffles at the breakfast which the kids loved and it was a perfect location to the As stadium and airport. Overall fairly clean. Lesa meira

The hotel was ok, it was pretty clean just a little dated. The lobby was still under construction/renovations but the did there best to keep it clean.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We had to try three different rooms as the first the headboard fell off the wall. The second smelled like smoke and the third we did but the sink didn't drain. All in all the worst place the family could stay as it wasn't even safe to walk to a local restaurant. We were told to order in.

"Under construction"
It sure would have been nice to know BEFORE arriving that this hotel was in complete disarray. While renovation is always a good thing, being surprised by it as a hotel guest certainly makes for a less than pleasant stay.

I did not know the hotel was being renovated staff was nice but we had to wait outside at the airport in 40 degree temps for over a half an hour for the shuttle. which surviced four other hotels you get what you pay for

Recent stay @ La Quinta Inn Oakland Airport is not my first time!
The neighborhood seems unsafe. No fitted sheets on the bed. Bed was as hard as a rock.

"The hotel was..."
...not what is seemed! When I drove into the parking lot I notice a lot of the window screens ripped and torn. I wanted to turn away but all the other hotels were full. I went in and the lobby looked ok and I notice they were remodeling. Hmmmm, nothing was mention on Hotels.com. Once I checked in , got to my room I felt a safe. My room was suppose […] to be a non-smoking room, it was very smokey. After opening the window and spraying lysol it was bearable. Then a bus load checked in and the noise of every one running up and down the hall and banging on the walls was too much! Too bad, I had always heard La Quinta was a nice place to stay. Lesa meira
"HORRIBLE HOTEL SERVICE"
The hotel double booked, I found myself walking into a room already occupied.. came back to the hotel hours later and they had not cleaned the room from the previous people.. remind you that check-in is at 3 and I came back to hotel at 11 PM. They gave me a new room after being harassed by the hotel employees. The following night our room key no longer […] worked for our door and was harassed once again by employees. Asked for towels multiple times and never received them in the 2 day stay... never will be back. Lesa meira

Positives: Good breakfast, good location to Oracle Arena, close to fast food restaurants (Jack in the Box & Burger King), shuttle to BART, and all the machines in Fitness Room was working. Negatives: Sketchy neighborhood, my room smelled of smoke even though it was a non-smoking room and they would not relocate me because they said the hotel was full, […] and the hotel computer was not working. "The good and the bad"
I have traveled by car over 14, 600 miles across the United States, I choose La Quinta because they are relatively inexpensive, clean, and safe. (Meaning a lot of them have lobby entrances, and not the typical entrance to the room from the parking lot). As a single woman traveling alone, safety is a huge issue. I also like their free morning breakfast […] display, free paper, and onsite laundry! And the staff is always wonderful and courteous. Some of the issues I've had with La Quinta hotels are the noisy doors, they slam loudly, which is annoying enough from the inside, but if your room is next to an outside door, it's even worse. Also it seems as if the room keys don't work all the time...very inconvenient getting locked out al the time. And there seems to be remodeling and construction at almost every La Quinta I've been to. Despite these inconveniences, I'd continue to pick La Quinta over other hotels. Thanks! Lesa meira

I have stayed in a lot of LQs over the last few years and I had high expectations for this hotel. As of January 2012 they were in the middle of a renovation, so things might be improving soon. There weren't too many specific complaints, but the hotel just felt more run-down than what I've experienced in other LQs. An unpleasant surprise was that there […] wasn't a fridge in the room, but that was my fault for not checking. For the price I paid, I got a good stay, just not as great as I was hoping for. "great value"
Needed a comfortable room close to the airport with shuttle and breakfast. The breakfast is nothing special but the total package is a great value!
The hotel was fair. There bed did not have a bed spread. It just had sheets. I was a little cold during the night. Breakfast started at 6:00 a.m, I believe. I came down around 7:00 a.m and there wasn't much food left.

This was located in a great place to attend the Raiders game. The computer was broken and the toilet would make a noise all night but I would stay there again.

"Near Airport, Upkeep Needed"
This is the second time I stayed here, it has declined since my last. Bath tub is in old condition, drain was clogged. I didn't want my kids to sit down in it at all. One towel we saw had make up on it and I was not wearing any. Breakfast was a joke, dry cereal, toast, hard bagels, waffle maker. I seem to remember fruit, yogurt, and more stuff last […] time. Looks like they are getting cheaper. I did not have any of these problems the last time I stayed. Good thing it was only for one night. Staff were nice, location was fine, beds were comfy. Lesa meira

I booked my room, along with 2 more for some friends that we were going with to attend the nearby football game. I'd have to say that it was a very nice experience. It was very tidy. Rooms were kept up, bathrooms were kept clean, and down in the lobby, they provided you with a continental breakfast that was kept stocked, and didnt immediately run out […] of breakfast items like many other hotels i've stayed in have. I'd definitely stay there again, and would definitely recommend them to my friends, and family. Lesa meira

"Closest Hotel to the Oakland Coliseum!!"
Great price for the area, Hotel Staff members were very helpful, Shuttle Service fantastic, Breakfast bar was awesome! The rooms are very clean, and spacious! Walmart & Fast food establishments very close! Hotel is just a few minutes walking distance to the Oakland Coliseum.
"Raider Game"
Well we there for a Raider game and the location and quality where superb. If you are looking to catch a game then this is the Hotel for you. Aside from that the hotel has nice amenities and a shuttle service to the BART. But the surrounding area is not the best.

Hotel in poor shape needs a makeover. Hotel in bad neighborhood, so I was afraid to go out and get something to eat.
