The Asian-themed Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino is located on the Strip in Las Vegas, Nev., within one mile of Fashion Show Mall and Madame Tussaud's Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Convention Center stands less than three miles away.

On-site dining options include fine dining at Embers dinner restaurant. Cockeyed Clam features casual atmosphere and serves seafood dishes. The Burger Palace offers breakfast selections, and fast foods during lunch and dinner hours. Emperor's offers breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets. Fireside prepares barbecued fare, while Ming offers fine Asian-style dining. Ginseng 3 offers Korean cuisine 24 hours a day. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas of the hotel, for a fee. Name that Tune Live - An up-to-date, fast-paced version of the iconic daytime game show. Every round tests audience knowledge of music ranging from country to rock and roll, one-hit wonders to Broadway show tunes, and hits by Elvis, The Beatles, and even Lady Gaga.
Frank Marino’s Divas Las Vegas - This 75 minute show stars the longest-running headliner on the Las Vegas strip, Frank Marino, as comic icon Joan Rivers. An all-star cast of female impersonators perform as Britney Spears, Cher, Diana Ross, and Lady Gaga among others.

Smokey Robinson Presents Australia's Human Nature - The Ultimate Celebration of Motown takes center stage in the newly remodeled Imperial Palace Showroom. Human Nature, an Australian quartet, has opened for superstars such as Celine Dion and Michael Jackson. The show is presented nightly (except Fridays) at 8 PM.
The 75,000-square-foot casino includes poker and a race-and-sports book and features Dealertainers, celebrity look-alike blackjack dealers who combine gaming and entertainment from noon to 4 AM daily. The casino also has a Champagne Pit, a tribute to Las Vegas' Rat Pack era featuring music from the early 1960s and complimentary champagne.
Open seasonally, a 75-x-45-foot outdoor pool is bordered by a rock garden. The surrounding sundeck, cooled by misters, includes a 12-person spa tub, open year-round. Poolside massage and rental cabanas with TVs, ceiling fans, and padded lounge chairs are available.

"Would never stay here again"
Didn't expect too much going in, but booked this room for our very brief stay because of it's location. Though clean, rooms are extremely dated and a musty smell seems to pervade everywhere. The clincher was the guy who checked us in. He was extremely rude and belligerent. He almost seemed like he was looking for a fight. That put me on edge for the […] rest of our time there. "Central location"
Since we don'tgo to Vegas to stay in the room - the hotel location was great and the rooms were clean. Construction/renovations in the hotel were going on - but did not seem to bother us. Our stay at The Imperial was great! Rooms are clean, all we needed was a small fridge!! :-(... Location is awesome, right on the strip!!!!

"convenient location and great price"
I've stayed here a couple times before. Hotel is a little old, but the rooms are very nice and clean. It's located right in the middle of the Strip so it's super convenient. It's a great deal consider the price is so low.
"Cheap and central, but not really cheap enough"
The location, as noted by others, is very convenient and central. The staff were a mixed bag, the table workers seemed pleasant, but the front desk staff were riding a thin edge between unpleasant and outright rude. I wasn't allowed to check into my room until I signed up for their 'rewards card', which is worthless and a ploy to get your contact info. […] The rooms were clean, but afforded no view at all; the televisions were tiny, the beds uncomfortable, and the showers barely a trickle. Spend an extra $20 and get a much better room elsewhere. One bright point - the Hash House a Go-Go is easily the best breakfast spot in the whole city, and worth a visit all by itself. Lesa meira
"Great location, good value"
If you're going with your wife or girlfriend, splurge and stay at a nicer hotel. If you're going with friends, this place is just fine. Great location, save money by skipping the overpriced taxi rides, you can walk to a lot of great places from here. Also very easy to get to the monorail from here. Not a particularly nice hotel, it's one of the older […] and dumpier ones left on the strip... But it's clean, the pool area is quite nice, $5 tables aren't hard to find, and it's a great way to save a few bucks if you just need a convenient place to sleep. Lesa meira

"great location if you can deal with the smel/water"
this location is great if you want to be in the middle of the strip and have access to hotels. however, there was a horrible smell around the hotel and when you took a shower. the water smelled like it just came out of sewage.

"How much time do you intend to stay in your room?"
As just a place to sleep for a few hour each night, Imperial Palace is a good option. Basic room. The hotel is older, but who cares? How much time do you intend to spend in your room? It's Vegas! The room should meet anyone's minimum expectations - bed, TV, full length mirror, shower with hot water, ironing board, table and chairs, A/C. Only disappointment […] was NO COFFEE MACHINE in the room. It is right in the middle of all the action - Mirage and Bellagio accross the street. I actually like gambling down the block at Bills - its where the locals go. Bills also has the best deal on Prime Rib - awesome! Lesa meira
"Is what it is"
Place is cheap and ghetto, we got exactly what we were expecting. Only problem we had was getting the in room phone to work, so we always called housekeeping from a cell phone. We will deff be going back, and staying at IP again!
Great location and very cheap prices, wasn't worried about room quality because we were always gone but it would have been nice to have an exhaust fan in the bathroom. The ironing board was beat up and almost unusable and table in the room was about to fall over. needless to say it'll all change. they are going to do some 500MM in renovations as rebuilding it will cost too much (its in a floodplane, and sits over the tunnels). The 'worst' part is the elevators that are slower than heck and all busted, but I found the room clean, well AC'd and overall nice. The restaurants are good, and the location on the strip […] is fantastic for walking places. I'm sure when they rebrand this hotel under a new name the prices won't be anywhere this cheap, so enjoy it while you can!!! Lesa meira

"Good location but noisy and worn out-don't stay"
It was so noisy during the night (people screaming all night). woke up every 30 min. Definitely don't go with kids here. Very old, old carpets, looks like a 2 star hotel (or motel).. wouldn't stay here again. And the elevators were a joke (had to go all the way up to be able to go down..)

"Stay elsewhere"
This hotel is terrible. Things were broken, walls held together with duct tape, missing signs, burnt out lights, the tub was painted and chipping. Stay at a homeless shelter instead.

"decent location on the strip"
The rooms were extremely nasty. The carpets were so dirty that I would not take my shoes off to walk on the floor. There was someone else's hair in the bath tub and on the bathroom floor. There were beer bottles and cigarette butts left on the balcony. This place was bad!!!!!

Very old hotel, needs to be demolished, the room was dirty, the sheets were stained, the bathtub filled up from the drain with 2 inches of grey water then drained again. We came back to room after maid had been there to find a cigarette butt out on balcony.

Not happy at all! Tub was clogged stuff came out of drain . Room didn't get clean completely . Bathroom floor was dirty. Rooms and elevators need remodeling. Need new carpet.

It was the cheapest on the stip, now I know why. Everywhere spelled like smoke and couldn't get cell phone reception and the internet you had to pay for.
