A quiet neighbourhood (a bit dull) not too far from the Metro. The hotel was expensive for what it is and the facilities it provides. Small old fashioned rooms and bathrooms. The lobby area is clean but the room floors are slightly grubby with scraps of waste paper in corridors and a look of poor quality cleanliness. Booked a romantic break here and it was fantastic. Great location within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower and a choice of metro stations. We opted not to include breakfast as we wanted to go to local cafés and found a great one next to the metro (Le Bouquet de Grenelle). Staff at the Marquis were very helpful, gave me a room with a view as requested […] on my email, offered to print my return boarding cards for me and ordered me an early taxi for the airport. Overpriced. Good in all other ways, but for the same amount of money, one would have been able to stay at a far better hotel.

The staff are great! We got in at 7am extremely fatigued from our travel and thankfully the hotel let us check in early. Thank you! That gesture from them was priceless to my eyes. This lovely, quaint botique hotel was everything we wanted and what other traveler's who have commented positively on Tripadvisor promised it to be ! Staff were always very knowledgeable and helpful. The bedding and bed were perfect (even with my bad back) and the room was just the right size. The water was always plenty hot - storage for clothing, […] etc worked well. Wonderful to have the nice size windows to open for fresh air and a view of the city. We couldn't have been happier for a late in life marriage and honeymoon. Lesa meira

The staff was great. We had no problems with the language as they spoke English. The hotel was in a convenient location and right near the Eiffel Tower. I would recommend this hotel for sure.

Cute, boutique hotel. Staff was friendly, spoke English fairly well, and were happy to point us to the various attractions. Room was sufficient, although small....typical for Europe. Priced a little high, but being so centrally located, I didn't mind at all! Would recommend this hotel to any travellers without children in tow :)

Overall we were extremely satisfied with our stay. The staff were friendly and booked us taxis when we needed them. However for the price we paid we would have liked to have had breakfast included. The breakfast we paid for was lovely and the smoked salmon was a lovely surprise. The room was compact and very comfortable. The bed was great and the bedding […] luxurious.The bath was watermarked though and needs replacing.The hotel was undergoing a bit of maintenance and they'd had new carpet put in some of the rooms. Housekeeping hadn't got round to cleaning up the carpet bits so we marked it down a little for that. The hotel was a 10 minute walk away from the Eiffel Tower and we felt very safe walking back to the hotel at night. The hotel is in a quiet location not far from the Eiffel Tower. The staff was very helpful in answering our questions and addressing a minor issue with a slow draining bathroom sink. There is a nice bakery on Suffren just arond the corner and about a block away from the hotel in the direction of the Tower. Pastries, Sandwiches, Quiche, etc. Don't miss this place! There is also a small market across the street for purchaing staples, etc. Another located near the Ecole Militaire Metro station. There are quite a few eating places to choose from in the area. This hotel was an okay experience. The room was very small, typical for European standards. It was also very, very dark. Our room was on the first floor and was very noisy due to street traffic. It was also very warm. It states there is air conditioning, but ours didn't work very well. The shower is pretty difficult to use. We ended up with water all […] over our floor pretty much every day. The staff is pretty pleasant. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, which was nice. There are a lot of cafes and bistros nearby, as well as a store and a pharmacy. Nice hotel, clean and comfortable, good location, easy to reach via Metro so links to air port all in within walking distance of the Eifel tower and restaurants so what more would you want :-)

Hotel was very nice. Close to Eiffel Tower, but far enough away to be in a nice neighborhood. Very convenient to Batobus, we we used frequently. Breakfast was extremely overpriced, but market across the street.

Receptionist was very helpful and was obviously very busy but nothing was a bother to her. Breakfast was not great, sausages and bacon were finished and had to wait for more. When they arrived they were raw. Waiter was happy to say they were cooked and had to ask him to cook them again which he did, although still not properly cooked. Hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. Rooms are small, but nice. The Eiffel Tower is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There is a market right across the street to buy water, fruit, cheese and snacks. The Louve is a 10-15 minute taxi ride. Overall, I would recomend this hotel.

Nice hotel, close to the Eiffel Tower in a residential neighborhood - now many shops or restaurants right around the hotel, however, it is literally next to the 100+ shops of the Suisse Village antique markets. If you are looking for art or antiquities in Paris, this is definitely a place to check out as the selection is huge and the prices aren't overly […] inflated. The rooms were very nice and comfortable and reasonably roomy. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.Nice quiet street which is only a short stroll to the Eiffel Tower. There are plenty of restaurants only a short stroll away. There is also a supermarket about 20 meters away. Fat Tyre bike hire office is also only about 2 mins away. Breakfast was […] quite nice. THE STAFF WERE AMAZING I called customer service a couple of times and in returned liaised with the hotel whilst I was on hold so I wouldn't have to pay the international calls which was a great start! In the picture, the hotel shows the Eiffel in the background so wanted to know if I could get one of those rooms. They said I had to upgrade to get that […] view which is fair enough... I ohhed and ahhed about it but decided not to go for the upgrade. When I got to the hotel, they upgraded me anyway as I initially made an enquiry and because they had a spare room, they put my sister in there for two nights which was a great Birthday surprise! Just to let you know though that its not a full view of the Eiffel, just the top but this was more than enough with its pretty lights! Lesa meira

Overall a pleasant exoerience. Pros: 1. Location- 5 minute walk to Eiffel Tower, which made it easy to visit during day and night, which is a must! Also supermarket across the street. Also not too far of a walk to the Arc de Triomph and the main shopping area in town. 2. Room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. 3. Hotel staff, all 3 people we […] saw, are friendly. Cons- 1. Hotel staffing was poor. Only 1 person at the front desk, which is literally just a table and chair, who has the job of 5 people. The woman that checked us in was very friendly but not very helpful when it came to being a concierge when we had questions about tours or things to do in the area. Only 1 lady cleaning the entire hotel. One day we got back to our room around 5pm and it still was not done. 2. Not much shopping or night life in the area. Everything, including restaurants, is closed by around 10pm. Would recommend staying closer to Champs-Elysee area for shopping and night life. 3. I am not sure if it's just because its Paris but for a 4 star hotel the rooms are very small !. Also with only a small breakfast area the wait for a table can be quite inconvenient at peak times. Overall adequate but is it worth the 4 star rates charged, I do not think so.

The hotel is located near the Tour Eiffel with all its appeal, yet is on a side street and very quiet. The Metro is covenient as are any number of places to eat and drink. We planned a 6 night stay in Paris and found the Le Marquis as a low cost option for a hotel. It is a great loction just a few blocks from the Eiffel Tower. We chose it because of the "view of the Tower". Our room was on the 4th floor and we could not see the tower, only the searchlight on top. The room was on the small side though it had a King Size […] bed. It was clean and well kept. Our rate did not include breakfast which was disappointing because I thought that I had chosen a rate that did. Not a big issue but it the hotel staff was not the most helpful or friendly. The hotel is situated in a nice and quiet area close to the Eiffle tower. The rooms are nice and clean. But they are very small. We were in the duplex room and we found it a bit small for 2 people. But very comfortable. There is no view out of the hotel window except to a bunch of flats. It was in a good location however the view from our window was dissappointing. There were no coffee/tea facilities in the room however we did ask at the bar for hot water and cups. It was -5 outside so hot drinks were necessary when we returned.
