I was a little concerned becasue this was a 2 * hotel. I was completely suprised as the hotel looked as though it had just gone through a complete remodel. Everything was fresh painted, the rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable. No signs of bugs of any kind. I stayed there 4/2013 and was woken up at midnight by my neighbors coming back to the hotel Drunk. Which normally wouldn't be a problem except the walls were paper thin. I could even hear the guy snore. My children got to learn the F word. So educational! The management didn't care to solve the issue of us losing 3 hours sleep due to the drunk guys. […] Don't stay here. Not worth what you pay!!! Lesa meira

Great location - although hotel is older it is in a fantastic location for tourists visiting Fisherman's Wharf and other attractions. Beds are very comfortable and rooms have space. Staff were very helpful and accomodating.

This is a vary basic motel. The room we stayed was updated, however there is no fridge, microwave, and the shower is located in such a way that one will hit the corner of the sink. Location is not too bad and close to Lombard crooked street.

it was good. parking was limited and small spaces for your rental car!. Breakfast was nice -toast, cereals , yoghurts, fruit.& pastries.not many places to sit in the breakfast room but you could take it back to the hotel room. handy location to the wharf area. small grocery store 2 blocks away.Easy to walk to Lombard st crooked part.

Overall the rooms were clean. The location was great we were close to everything we wanted to do. Parking is really crowded if theres no parking spot at the hotel make sure to ask the front desk because they have 2 other lots available. We didnt know that and we ended up driving around for a while. The walls are paper thin i couldnt sleep the first […] night since unfortunately we were next to some guys that were back from drinking and we could hear all the arguing and it was so loud. This motel was in a good neighborhood and within walking distance to a bus line or the bay. The walls are paper thin so I suggest ear plugs, we did not sleep well at all. The room was clean and reasonably priced for that area.

The experience was great and the room was very comfortable. The only complaint that I have is that they charged an additional $13.50 per night for parking. I was traveling with a disabled individual and did not have the option to leave the vehicle at the motel so along with paying the motel’s parking fee, which I didn’t use during the daytime business […] hours, I had to pay parking fees at each of the locations we visited. The room was basic and a little dated, but it was clean and big enough to easily allow for a roll-away bed to be added. The staff was unbelievable nice, even offered us to leave our car there for the day of our departure. The breakfast room attendant was on top of things and kept everything stocked and clean. the stay was ok, the staff was accomidating. but the maids carts were EXTRA loud rolling down the hallways infront of the rooms.

Location was excellent. Parking wasn't free but at least it was available. Walls were a little thin and could hear everything in the rooms and corridors. Breakfast was average, cereal, juice, muffins and toast was included :)

The place is ok, I would most not likely stay there again. It was just average and there are many other hotels in the area. I would recommend it, if it was a little cheaper. We had a fun stay and would just try some other place

Hotel location is excellent if you wish to be near the wharf. Breakfast is plain toast and cereal. Rooms do not have refrigerators or microwaves. The staff was friendly and brought us a small fridge. If u need a microwave, they will let u use the one in the housekeeping area. Walls are paper thin and your neighbors will keep u awake. You will pay for […] parking at the hotel, 12$ but you'll atleast have a place to park. The best part is they allow pets. (For a fee naturally). We were on the ground floor and the person above us walked constantly early in the morning and you could hear every footstep. NOT pleasant at 5:15 a.m. Need better insulation! The breakfast was not as enjoyable as the LaQuinta. No yogart or hard boiled eggs and I had to ask for more bread as heels were the only thing left.....lady was standing next […] to it. Won't be staying here again. Old hotel, not very clean. The power in my room went out for an entire afternoon/night. Personnel not too friendly.

The rooms were adequate. Everything appeared clean and the staff was extremely pleasant. Towels are small and one of the sheets had a hole in it. Parking is a good option, but is expensive (not necessarily by SF standards) for the close quarters. The location is handy. The breakfast barely exceeded coffee.

Nice place in walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf. Had an upstairs room with vaulted ceilings, which was great! Loved the bed, the mattress was super comfortable! Friendly service at front desk. Plenty of room to park! Would stay there again! Thank you!

A very clean and comfortable Hotel, staff more than willing to help with all sorts of information, taxis etc. Complimentary breakfast delicious, but not really for the calorie counter!!! Ideal location for access to Wharf, North Beach, China Town and the Fabulous City. Walking shoes required all over San Francisco, I would certainly use this Hotel again […] if I am ever lucky enough to re-visit SF. Lesa meira

With the prices of your hotel one would assume that it would be given a new face lift. However, on the plus side, your employees were wonderful and well knowledged about the sights we wanted to visit. The food (breakfast) was good.

Yes, the hotel is dated, but they are ALL dated in the area. However the staff made up for it in the helpfullness and friendliness. Great place to stay for a couple days to walk easily to the attractions at the waterfront area. Even walking about a mile to the Presidio was easy. We felt safe walking in the area. Didn't care to have breakfast there since […] we just got up and out for some great days in the City. Don't let the "dated" appearance turn you off because what it lacks in looks it more than makes up in service and location. Lesa meira
