Had a really great time the staff was vey helpful and the hotel was very clean and up kept will be staying here again next time!!!

"Hotel Beds very uncomfortable!"
We stayed at the Fairfield Inn in March since it had an indoor pool. The pool heater was broke and the water was cold all weekend. The beds were very uncomfortable and we actually left the hotel 1 night early because we were so uncomfortable.
"Fairfield Inn MB - Decent Stay"
I recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn; I chose this hotel because it was close to the House of Blues [the venue for a concert I was attending]. They have a contract with a taxi company - they came right on time & were friendly. The fare was also cheap. The front desk people were decent & helped me out when I needed it. The breakfast had good choices: […] fresh coffee, fruit, cereal, wafflemaker, & biscuits that could be warmed up. The view isn't great from any angle, but its close to many things including Tanger outlets. So, if you want somewhere to stay that is simple, clean, & close to shopping - I would recommend this place. Lesa meira

"Great Deal for the price!"
Very nice hotel. I would recommend this place to anyone who doesn't necessarily have a need to stay directly next to the beach! Very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast selection. Checkin/Checkout was quick and trouble-free.

"Fairfield Marriott in Myrtlebeach near Tanger."
Neat hotel with plush beds! Too soft for ne but just right for the wife. Room location near pool on first floor. Made for a noisey night because of ice machines. Insist to not have this particular room!

This hotel is located on hwy 17, about 1 mile to public beach access of north myrtle beach, 1 mile to Tanger Outlet. Around the hotel within some miles hundreds of attractions. We stayed one day longer as planned!

I think for the price, I expected it to be similar to the Fairfield Marriot in DC where I stayed before - which my family enjoyed. This hotel had a friendly front desk staff which I think is the only plus. The carpets were old, worn and smelled badly. The bathroom was filthy with stains everywhere. The ice machine outside our room made an incessant […] noise throughout the night. The breakfast was minimal and could do with a little work. The walls inside my room and the bathroom had peeling paint and the previous repairs to the drywall was clearly visible. The cover of the ac was loose and came off. The elevator smelled bad. 1. Convenient Location 2. Very close to Myrtle beach Mall 3. Clean 4. Very courtious and well informed staff 5. Elaborate Breakfast arrangement 6. Reasonably priced for Myrtle Beach 7. Family friendly I would recommend this hotel to any family looking for a comfortable stay at a place close to many attractions. Thanks Marriott!
Nothing spectacular!!!! Literally a 2 star hotel. Just an okay place to stay. Breakfast was HORRIBLE!!!!!
"Good Clean Deal!"
This hotel was very nice, clean, and close to all the offerings of both North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach. (I preferred North Myrtle Beach - where this hotel is - because it was less commercial than Myrtle Beach) My wife has cleanliness OCD and she thoroughly enjoyed our stay. BOOK IT!
"Fairfield Inn on Grand Strand by Barefoot Landing"
This hotel by no means should carry the "Marriott" name. Though it was suitable to stay in, I would not recommend. The front desk staff was fine but all other services were rather rude. The room was old, but relatively clean. All furniture needs updating, as do linens, etc... The a/c was not working properly, which for a 95 degree day, was not pleasant. […] Good location but I would look elsewhere next time since there is plenty to choose from in Myrtle Beach. Sorry guys.... Lesa meira

"I had a great time at this hotel."
I went to this hotel on Sunday, 9/6/09 and checked out on 9/8/09. The hotel is right off the main road into myrtle beach, so it was very easy to find. The hotel was clean, had no problem checking in. The room was clean and it was on the second floor. Had no trouble finding the room, or getting into the room. The price was very good considering that […] i made the reservation at 2am the night before. I will stay at this hotel again, it was easy to find, easy to get to, and nice for what i paid. I have nothing bad to say about it. You should be happy to stay here and i will again. Lesa meira

Hotel far exceeded our expectations for the price and we chose to stay at this location due to peoples reviews. We will stay here again when we visit Myrtle Beach in the future.
