Not the most picturesque hotel given the city it is in but really close to all the sights with friendly, helpful staff and exceptionally clean. Perfect with kids, play space, outdoor pool and parking very convenient.

Brugge is really nice. Very touristy when we went though. This place features a very friendly and helpful staff. Its’ at a great location right on the south of the town. As the name of the hotel suggests, it is at the heart of Brugge, close to all the main tourist spots and walkable from the train station (10-15 mins). There is a convienent store located right across the street from the hotel for you to stock up on some water, fruits or snacks. 2 adults + kids of 10 and 12, spacious room, great location (10 mins from the centre and shops / restaurants all the way from the front door). Also only 10 minutes from the train station. Breakfast buffet v good (loads of fresh fruit)

We stayed at this hotel on New Years Eve. The best thing about this hotel is the location, because it's only a 10 minute walk to the train station. It's also a 10 minute walk in the other direction to the very center of town. The staff were polite. The only odd part of our experience was that we had reserved a room with two standard beds and we later […] discovered our bed was actually to twins put together. Very strange but we didn't bother the front desk as they were extremely busy and overwhelmed on New Years Eve. The room itself and bathroom were clean, but the overall look of the rest of the hotel was a little rundown. It didn't really bother us because the location was ideal for what we paid on NYE. Great hotel in a great location.5-10 min walk from the centre of bruge. Breakfast was ok, usual offerings over cooked scambled eggs, bacon, yummy pancakes and lots of bread and yogurts to choose from. The bathroom was small and a little moldy but not to bad. Staff very friendly and would go back.

The hotel itself was very clean , nice bar and restaraunt area , but we found our room very disappointing . We booked a superior room ( for 4 people ) with 2 sofa beds as we was with our two 15 year olds . When we got into our room , we had a double sofa bed and double bed crammed into a very small space with facilities for two people , I.e two glasses […] , paper cups etc , as we were out for most of our stay we didn't Bother complaining but just felt we should leave feed back for people to bear this in mind when booking . We stayed for one night in Feb after a few days at Disney before heading home. The hotel was perfect! Right in the middle of town with 24 hr parking and great staff. Really easy to find and very well epuipt. Coffee making facilities, minibar, tv, wi fi and phone all in room. Complimentary shampoo etc in the bathroom with LOTS of mirrors and a lovely […] big bath with shower as well as plenty of fresh towels. There is a pool but we didnt use this, opening times are 10-8 i believe. We had a family room with a huge double bed and 2 sofa beds, the room was a great size with seperate bathroom and toilet. The bar and restaurant were lovely and the buffet breakfast wonderful with something for everyone - both hot and cold. Really cannot recommend this hotel enough esp at Expedia prices - the prices displayed on arrival were much higher. Bruges is a lovely city and this hotel is a wonderful place to stay and explore it! We recommend a tour by horse drawn carriage, currently 39 euro and worth every penny - our little one has asked to do this everytime we have been and it was a real pleasure! Lesa meira

The good thing about a Novotel is that you know exactly what you're getting. It is a nice, clean hotel in a good location - half mile from the train station and about half a mile from Markt. Our room was spacious and had a sofabed and bed. I had a cracking night's sleep as well - and isn't that what it is mostly about? The highlight was the staff. […] We had interacted with a number of them and they were all super-nice. They tried their best to make our stay relaxing and pleasant. I cannot say enough about how great they are. The lowlight was the coffee. While the bartender was really nice, the coffee was appalling. That is because they don't use a real espresso machine - not the bartender's fault. However, who chooses a hotel base on coffee when there a gazillion cafes within a mile from the hotel? You can tell I am struggling to find fault. My top tip is to skip the hotel breakfast. There are a heap of cute cafes in the area which will do a better breakfast for half the price. Lesa meira

We took our kids (10 & 13) for a 2 night weekend stay. We couldn't really fault the place. The location was great, with ony a short walk to all of Bruges' central attractions. The public car park next door was convenient and reasonably priced at €8.70 for 24 hours. Buffet breakfast was very good. Staff were very helpful. Wouldn't describe it as a luxurious […] hotel, but met our needs very well - clean, comfortable, convenient, good value for money and catered for kids > it's often hard to get all this ! Hotel was a solid - OK. Lift is pretty old and the decor looks a bit dated along with the dirty carpet. Rooms were pretty basic. Doors to rooms are thin which allowed alot of noise in. Luckily we were on a quiet floor so this didn't bother us too much. It was a bit disgusting to find a squashed bug in the net curtains though. Breakfast is expensive […] - would highly recommend going to the CarreFour opposite the hotel or one of the nice cafes on the street. The Bed was pretty lumpy but we slept okay on it. Location wise: its a good 10/15 minute walk to the square where the Belfry tower is. Lesa meira

Enjoyed it would stay there again (or in the cheaper IBIS directly opposite) though breakfast was expensive- would have liked shower and fridge to have worked when we got into the room - maintenance fixed both after we complained but the room should be 100% fully funtioning on arrival - staff pleasant - linen changed every day - overall satisfied.

Given the price it was very good. As most places in Brugges the price of food was expensive. €20 for breakfast is a bit steep but as we experienced it was about the going rate. The bed was very comfortable and our 2 kids loved the sofa and pull out bed. Our extractor fan on the bathroom didn't work so when you had a shower it steamed up the whole […] room although opening the window was not a problem to resolve this. Also the fridge in the mini bar didn't work. I did not let the hotel know as we were only there 2 days. Lesa meira

A fantastic modern hotel, situated very near to the centre of Brugge, with easy access to inexpensive 24 hour parking. The hotel service was welcoming and friendly, the rooms were more than adequate for two adults and two children (we had a double bed and a sofa bed, with a second pull out bed under the sofa - the beds were comfortable and ready made). Good location and overall a pleasant stay. But! House keeping goes home at 5pm! Arrived late afternoon and found the extra bed had not been made up and that house keeping go home at 5; we ended up making up the bed ourselves.
