Rooms are very clean.. I had booked a non-smoking room with 2 Queen beds. Unfortunately the hotel didn't have anymore, but they were nice enough to accomodate us by giving us a non-smoking suit with no extra charge. I was really surprised about the location, and was pleasantly surprised with the room and service. The front desk manager was very attentive and very courteous. The room had just recently been renovated and felt very new. There were some issues with it, but were easily overlooked. "Best deal I've seen in a while..."
Customer service was excellent, room recently updated and VERY nice for the price, great breakfast (waffles!), and convenient to the freeway and a nearby HEB. We were in town for a wedding, and were traveling with pets, so our options were limited. We chose this hotel and were not disappointed. The location is great, walking distance to food, convenience stores, grocery. Easy to highway and airport. We had a second floor room, which was very clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable and linens were clean. […] Full size refrigerator and sink. Bathroom was a little small, but clean. Housekeeping staff were accomodating to clean when we were out with our dogs. Management was helpful in resolving a minor issue we had. The only caveat; this hotel does charge a pet fee which is not disclosed on this site, give them a call prior to booking. "The nicest staff"
This hotel was very accomodating to our needs. I have nothing bad to say about the hotel and staff. What i will say i that once we left and got back home, we realized we had forgotten my son's medication if thier refriderater. We called they shipped it to us at no cost and no problem what so ever... I was very impressed. "Very comfy beds, but sewage smell in bathroom"
The hotel was about what was expected for the price, but the bathroom had a sewage smell and something was leaking by the toilet... also, one of the hand towels had a brownish stain on it. The shower wasn't bad (pretty good water pressure)... rooms were updated and nice... beds were super comfy!! loved the pillows!! Location was pretty convenient (highway/restaurants […] were nearby)... also, I think i had read a review that said that breakfast was a "hot/deluxe continental breakfast", but my dad said all they had was cereal and some cold items (I didn't see the breakfast for myself - I was wanting a hot breakfast). I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are on a tight budget. Absolutely nothing wrong with the accomodations and the staff was more than helpful. We stayed 5 nights. A young couple, who are the managers, were very attentive and devoted to good service. They are in a continual process of improving the property and doing the best possible job. "Ramada Limited in McAllen"
A nice, clean hotel at a great price. The room was good sized, the bed comfortable, and the chair and foot stool a great addition for TV watching. The purpose of our trip was a concert at UTPA. I didn't know until I saw the program, but was surprised and pleased to see that the Ramada Limited had donated rooms to the guest artists playinging in the […] tribute concerts.
