Mjög fínt nema hvað þetta er við aðalumferðaræð og nokkur hávaði af umferð en ekkert sem héllt fyrir mér vöku. all very good except for the main traffic road passing just outside, nothing that kept me awake though.

Ágætis hótel,15 mínútur frá Logan flugvellinum, hótelskutlur, lítill veitingastaður á hótelinu mjög þægilegt, hótelið hreint og fínt og mjög gott verð er fyrir gistingu á þessu hóteli. Þetta var í þriðja skiptið sem við völdum þetta hótel.
Mögulegt er að gjalds verði krafist fyrir aukagesti. Slíkt fer eftir stefnu hvers hótels fyrir sig.
Krafist er skilríkja með mynd og kreditkorts við innritun vegna tilfallandi gjalda.
Það fer eftir framboði hverju sinni hvort hægt sé að verða við séróskum og þær gætu haft í för með sér aukagjald. Ekki er hægt að tryggja að hægt sé að verða við viðkomandi óskum.

The room at the Bunkminster was great! Perfect for a Red Sox stay.
"Clean but faded glory"
Very clean and comfortable but furniture was chipped and plumbing slightly coming away from wall. Despite what was advertised on the web site, the WiFi was only free for 1 hour and then there was a charge. As a business travelor, I needed a receipt from the hotel documenting that I stayed there; the hotel would not give me a receipt even with a zero […] balance on it. Room was very small but clean, comfortable bed and convenient. All I need from a hotel when I have things to do.

Our stay was wonderful. So close to Fenway, our main focus for vacation. We didn't know open house at Fenway was Thursday. We went to the Red Sox game Wednesday. "Wish I could have stayed for a week!"
Amazing hotel with an even better view. Great staff, will probably stay here for my next trip to Boston.
Room was very overpriced. Looked nothing like the picture on the website. Furniture was old and scratched. Tried to check in twice to be told our room was not ready. Aside from being across from Fenway, we would not stay there again.

If this hotel were not so close to the beloved FENWAY, we would never stay there. Customer Service didnt exsist! We couldn't check in until after 5pm (reg check in is 3pm), even though we requested an early check in! Then when it came time to checking out.......we requested a late check out and were given 1 extra hour. (1pm)- at 1:30 we went to the […] front desk to check out and were charged for an additional 1/2 day charge for not being out at 1pm! unbelievable! they were late getting us in and we didnt get any benefit from them. never again Lesa meira

"You get what you pay for"
For the money this is an excellent hotel. It is ouit of the tourist area, so you mix with Bostonians in the local bars..and there are plenty of them. Kenmore subway station is right across the street.

we were upgraded to a beautiful suite overlooking Fenway Park...Brian greeted us ( I think he was from Norway). He was wonderful. Parking attendant was a pleasure. We weren't in the room much, but when we were, we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Had a great stay, but the room was very small. But overall, I recomend this hotel as I hve stayed here twice. GO RED SOX!
"Buckminster"
Hotel was very nice the room had a sitting room in addition to a bedroom. Sitting room had a couch chair desk microwave and mini fridge. Bedroom had a large armoir and a sink. Only issue with the room was the tv in the bedroom didn't work. The continental breakfast was standard but it is held in the restaurant that is attached to the hotel and some […] of the staff in it were highly inappropriate and made an effort to humiliate us. "Perfect for visiting BU"
The location is absolutely perfect for a visit to Boston University. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is fine. Our rooms were on the 5th floor facing Beacon St. They were a good size and the beds were comfortable, but the bathrooms were small and old-fashioned (nowhere to put your stuff). There was virtually no noise from outside, although rooms at […] the back of the hotel looked out onto a busy highway, and would probably be very noisy. "Great Stay!"
This was a really good hotel. The bedroom was amazing. It was a very old world victorian style room & hotel. I booked 2 x dbl or queen size bedrooms & surprisingly enough, both beds were in separate rooms & it had a shared bathroom, which was really nice. It was really clean & the bedrooms were really roomy & the beds were amazingly comfy with their […] own walk in robes and a tv. There was even an alarm clock to put your ipod in. Breakfast was provided every morning from 7 or 7:30am onwards with tea, coffee, toast, fruit, cereals, etc. The services was great also. It was a fabulous hotel, the best of all the cities we visitied. I'd definitely stay with Buckminster Hotel again & would highly recommended this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Boston on budget! "Great place in a prime location"
This hotel is located less than one block away from a subway station, so you can get to downtown in ten minutes. It also has very nice rooms with a small fridge, microwave oven, safe. Wifi works rather well, so if you need to stay connected you won't have a problem. I highly recommend this place.
"extra fees"
Parking was horrible, and charged an extra for each night. The material condition of the room was poor. There were cracks in the walls and housing for the mini fridge. The blinds were broken and left large gaps that allowed the lights from the street in to the room, I had to hang a dark shirt over the opening. If you plan to bring your pet, it is another […] large extra charge, and you can not leave your pet in the room alone even if it is in a crate. The hotel itself is OK. They do not have a restaurant with the hotel so that is difficult. Also, [and I could not believe that] they have absolutely no one available to help with suitcases/luggage. The guests have to carry their own luggage up the front steps, then find a cart, manuever it along very narrow corners to one's room. Parking is also difficult. I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Buckminster! Although it was for one night the room was an adequate size, the bathroom was clean and the floor we were on was very quiet. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a weekend getaway.
"Right next to the Red Sox stadium and Kenmore stn"
The staff were really courteous. My room's bath door locked itself out and they swiftly moved us to a nearby room without much fuss. I like the stay and the cleanliness of the hotel. It's very close by to the Red Sox stadium and several other attractions in town are served by the Kenmore line trains,
"Best location to MBTA"
The hotel is a two-minute walk to Kenmore station, which must make it the most convenient hotel in the Hub for access to the MBTA. We were given a suite with two queen beds at a very reasonable price. The hotel was built in 1897, and the suite had more style than a modern hotel at five times the price. Some of the fixtures were showing their age, but […] that was a minor inconvenience. On the other hand, the suite had an iHome. The hotel offered a free breakfast, with a good selection of healthy food. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had to pay for wi-fi after the first hour, which was a minor annoyance. Though it was in perfect walking distance, the room was very small, and the people at the front desk were not nice or helpful at all. They seemed to hate the fact that we were there.

The hotel is a bit old, but the rooms are huge and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is not bad at all and the location of this hotel is simply amazing. One block away from the T, just in front of Fenway. I know where I'm staying next time I go to Boston.

This hotel is pretty rough around the edges. There was a lot of old water damage in our rooms. The carpets and bedspreads looked out of date. The heat and air conditioning didn't work quite right. We chose the Hotel Buckminster because of the reasonable room price. It was not close to our meeting site in Boston, but it was convenient because of the public transit system. Our room was a little small, but comfortable and well appointed with a refrigerator and microwave, and very clean. Lobby was clean and attractive. Staff was friendly and helpful. […] Good continental breakfast. Parking was not the greatest, but we got a space in the adjacent garage. (Hotel should consider building an access door/ramp from the garage to the lobby.) We will definitely be back to the Buckminster! The room, although small, was clean, comfortable, and quaint, and just what we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, and we will definitely be back there for Red Sox games!

I recently stayed at the Boston Hotel Buckminster, it was a wonderful stay. In walking distance of many great places, friendly staff, and great prices. I would highly recommend this hotel to others if you want a nice hotel for a great deal!
"My Stay at the Hotel Buckminster"
This was my second stay at the Hotel Buckminster. My room was small as advertised (the Petite) but I knew that going in. I was in Boston on business and the room was just great for what I needed. Clean, quiet, everything worked fine. Only complaint is I would have liked a coffeemaker in room for that early cup of coffee. I did go down to Kenmore Square […] and grab a cup but that might not be appealing to everyone early in the AM. Staff was very cordial and helpful. I would stay there again. Lesa meira

VERY NICE PLACE TO TO STAY AND QUIET.
"Beautiful, charming hotel"
This hotel had a charming antique interior, but clean, comfortable, modern rooms. The hotel staff were very friendly and responsive. The location was pretty central though there didn't seem to be much happening in the area immediately surrounding the hotel.

On arrival I received an upgrade to a king room which was a great service. Breakfast was good but not many options. Right near Kenmore Station and Fenway is in walking distance. Parking was and aditional $27
"Fine for the price"
Refrigerator didn't work and you have to pay for internet access, but it's a good rate to stay in a convenient location. I've stayed here before and every time something in my room is broken, but the staff is nice and at least a breakfast is included. It's no frills, but I'll probably end up here again.

"Good hotel in a good location"
This hotel is in a good location if you are going to be anywhere near the Fenway area. It is a minute walk to the T and right near Fenway and all the bars in that area. The room was kind of small but the only reason you are there is to sleep anyways. Overall a good experience and would definitely stay there again.
