Umsögn frá gesti Hotels.com á 29. jan. 2012Flott hótel í gömlu húsi en full hljóðbært á milli herbergja. Var með herbergi út að götu og það er slatta traffík þarna hjá allan sólarhringinn. Einnig fór gesturinn í herberginu fyrir ofan okkur að færa til hús gögn kl. 5 um morguninn.

Metið af Maríus H frá "Reykjavik" þann 28. des. 2011Hótelið er í góðu umhverfi og starfsfólk mjög vinalegt. Rétt handan við hornið eru sporvagnarnir bæði gömlu sem fara upp brekkurnar og í gegnum ítalska og kínahverfið og endar á Market þar sem allar verslanirnar eru. Nýju sporvagnarnir þeir fara meðfram bryggjunum og sjávarsíðunni og hægt er að taka þá eða labba að bryggju 35 að mig minnir þar sem ferjan til Alcatrez er. Eina sem hefði fullkomnað þessa hóteldvöl var ef það hefði verið þráðlaust net upp í herberginu. En það er eingöngu í andyrinu. Mun klárlega gista aftur á þessu hóteli í framtíðinni þegar farið verður aftur til San Francisco

We had one of the best times ever in the city. We were close to just about everything we wanted to do. The staff was friendly. The only negative comment we had was our shower flow. Pickwick was reasonably priced, close to Moscone and Yerba Buena. The room was clean and pretty. Bathroom was messed up. You could only get blistering hot water from any of the spigots. "Great San Francisco surprise!"
I found the Pickwick only because the newer hotel I usually visit for work was booked. The Pickwick has mojo and warmth, unlike newer hotels (which all seem to be leaning toward a more sterile, 'chic' vibe). Surrounding area was fantastic (shopping/food/ambiance) and the staff very helpful and thorough. My room was a bit smaller than the newer hotels […] b/c it's an older hotel - however, it was very clean, well designed, had cool wood features a nice TV, and the bed was ridiculously comfortable. Really close to the Moscone Center, also close to parking garage and mall and some good burger joints. We had a nice view of some permanent bums though across the street, and the hotel itself had an older feel that needed a little bit of repair. "Cute hotel in convenient location"
The hotel was located closely to public transportation, restaurants, and the Westfield shopping center. It was easy to check in and out, and booking through this site made everything easy. However, when we got to the hotel, they gave us one bed instead of the two we had requested. Upon bringing this to the attention of the front desk, they promptly […] switched us to a room with two double beds. Unfortunately, we got the bedroom right behind the elevator, where we could hear it go up and down all day and night since there was no extra barrier between the elevator and our room. The bathroom and room were very clean and comfortable, with great amenities including an ipod deck radio, flat-screen TV, and sockets for chargers. "Charged for duvet uncalled for."
I loved the closeness of the hotel to convention center and city. Unfortunately, I was charged for a duvet which was uncalled for. Calls to the hotel and messages left at desk went unanswered. Arrived early from an longhaul overnight flight and they allowed me to check in 3 hours early. Was great service. The rooms are a bit tired, but overall very pleasant stay and very central for my business meetings. Would stay again.Ósvikin umsögn gesta á Expedia

"Not bad for the price"
Stayed here as we were going to see "Wicked". It was a decent location for walking to the theatre and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The mall is just around the block if you are shopping. One thing that I did not care for, though, was that there was no decaf coffee in the hotel for guests and when my friend asked for more coffee for our room […] they wanted to charge her $2.00 for each pod...(They have Keurig makers in the room). Also, she had stayed here before and was looking forward to it as last time parking was free with hotel stay. Not anymore. They got us for another $33.00 to park the car. Rooms are clean and comfortable but crowded because they are small. The hotel is quiet so sleeping is not disrupted by noisy crowds when the bars close. The bathrooms are very small but are very clean-no mold! It is only a 5 minute walk to the Moscone Center. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. Would like a night light […] but overall the stay was excellent. I have stayed several times and the hotel is consistently very nice if not fancy. Price is a bit high for the quality of the rooms.
