We were very pleased with the staff and accommodations at this hotel. It is very convenient to get to and close to shopping and downtown. We have stayed at many Hampton Inn's and they are always GREAT and this one was not different!

Service was terrific - little older building, but the renovations are solid. The oversized bathtub (hottub) was great. Location is not bad - very close to College Dr, which is where everything goes down. "Beds are uncomfortable"
The bed itself was uncomfortable. Also, the hotel used a fitted sheet for the bottom sheet that came off all 4 nights we stayed - very iritating.

We had booked a four night stay at this location, but left after one night. We were in a corner room adjacent to a very busy street and the usual mattresses we find at Hamptons (and the reason we book them) were not to be found here. The bed was awful and my husband, who has had back surgery, couldn't tolerate it. We had a delightful stay. Our room had many great advantages such as great spaces, modern furniture, a hot tub, a big bathroom with a large mirror. The people that work at this hotel have a very nice sense of service and great commitment to their guests. They pay attention to the detail. "A little under par for Hampton Inn"
Room had an odor that we were unable to determine. I t appeared that cleaning staff had attempted to mask the odor with very cheap perfume. pool was chilly but hot tub was even colder with a note stating that guest misbehavior had broke the hot tub. we enjoy staying at hamptin inns but don't know if we will go back to this one

For the price, this hotel is a good deal. The staff was pleasant ,and the facility was clean and in good condition.

I spent two nights and left Ft. Collins to stay in another hotel in another town. What a difference! The Hampton Inn stay was so much better!! There's nothing like moving to an inferior hotel to see what I had at the Hampton Inn.

"Better late than never."
My daughter and I arrived much later than expected - 2 a.m. - although I had called earlier to let them know we'd probably get in around midnight. We were familshed because we had no time to eat between flights due to late arrivals, etc.. The desk person kindly offered to let us raid the pantry for a snack before bed and offered us directions to the […] local campus that we were to visit the next day. Enjoyed use of the exercise equipment and computer internet. Also had cookies in the lobby in the afternoon/evening. After getting into Denver later than expected and a long drive thru a snow storm, it was nice to have no problems at the hotel. Lesa meira
"Noisy Stay"
The weekend we stayed at the Hampton Inn in Fort Collins, CO, the state swim meets were being held in Fort Collins and many of the athletes also stayed at the Hampton Inn. It was very noisy for our entire stay and when I mentioned it to the desk clerk at check-out she said that they would be refunding our money. After almost a week nothing had been […] communicated to us about a refund. "Great Value"
The Hampton in Ft. Collins was consistent with every other Hampton Inn I have stayed in -- great value. Clean throughout, friendly and helpful staff, wonderful hot breakfast, everything as we expected, convenient to everything.

it was really nice, super friendly staff, comfortable beds, loved the duvet covers, working Microwave and Fridge, good breakfast, clean pool, quiet night and a showerhead with good pressure.. what else do we need for a comfortable weekend ? Thanks Hampton Inn, we will return !!
"Just as expected"
We've stayed in Hampton Inns around the country and were always satisfied. This one was everything we expected. Nice desk help, good breakfast. It's relatively easy to get around town if you know the roads that avoid College Avenue. Nice beds and comforters, plenty of towels. The fridge and micro were a great surprise benefit.

I thought it was really nice the house keeping left a note saying they hoped you enjoyed your stay. I have not seen that other places.

Good 2.5 star hotel (one of the better ones) and it's location is close enough to College St. (where everything is at) but far enough away to be quiet. Staff was helpful, complimentary breakfast was mediocre for being free, and rooms were nice.
The hotel was fine as far as cleanliness, etc., but the hotel seems to be old and lobby isn't all that great. The room was OK...just dated. The free breakfast is typical of Hampton Inn, but it could stand some improvement. I expected a more updated hotel in that part of town.
"Nice place"
This hotel was easy to get to off the highway from Denver and very convenient to downtown Fort Collins. It was clean, had a great breakfast in the mornings and the staff was very friendly and accomodating.. The rooms were plenty big (we had a king size bed) and comfortable... The pool area and fitness center were nice as well...there are no weights […] in the fitness center, just aerobic machines though. "Hampden Inn Ft Collins"
I was very impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel. We have stayed here 3 times in the past 2 years, and have been completely satisfied each time. We will continue to frequent this hotel. Comfortable beds, great breakfast too. Friendly hotel staff as well.

The rooms were nice. The neighborhood around the hotel was very nice and the workers were friendly.
"Overall good experience at Ft Collins Hampton Inn"
We had a nice vacation, with only a couple minor complaints. For breakfast, make sure you get there early....as the server stated that "we are running out of stuff." And the pool is somewhat small and cold....which didn't matter to us who only used the hot tub. But the room itself was quite nice, and had a good comfortable bed.

Excellent accomodations. Clean, friendly & helpful staff and Manager. Relatively in-expensive. Spent 4 days in FT.Collins to celebrate 7th wedding anniversery - borrowed free bikes from Ft.Collins bike library and rode 3 excellent city paved trails, enjoyed Old Town Mall and great resturants - all easily accessible by car or bike from Hampton Inn. This was the best hotel for the money in the area! From the moment we checked in, the manager was very helpful, even moving us to a first floor room by the door since we had a dog with us! I also liked that their pool is open until 12:00am, as well as the fitness and business centers! Everything was clean and well maintained. "Jacuzzi Tub & nice mattresses"
Loved the jacuzzi tub! The king bed had a comfortable mattress, my back did not hurt once!
"Extra charge for a basic accommodation"
We booked the reservations for 5 people and were given a room with 2 queens and were told to accommodate the 5th person we would have to pay extra for a cot. If we had added on a person upon arrival, I could understand that, but the reservations were made in advance.
"Not a great example of Hampton quality"
Hamptons are my family's choice hotel chain, generally a great value for the quality. However, this Fort Collins Hampton is well below par. The common areas are slightly run-down with chipped signs and out lights. In the room itself, the mattress is rock hard (probably the lowest version possible of the new mattress upgrade rolled out by the Hampton […] chain - if it was even replaced at all). The fitted sheets did not fit the mattress itself and came off in the middle of the night. Although the temperature was in the 50s the room was in the 80s for most of the night, a testament to the sub-par air conditioning. In the morning, we wanted to get in natural light - assuming there were sheer curtains for privacy, but the shades were either the black out versions or no privacy. We upgraded to get a very large whirlpool tub in the room, but after filling it - we discovered it was broken. When we asked the front desk, they insisted you just have to push the button harder, and when my athletic husband explained that there is no amount of force that could get that button to start - they told us there was nothing they could do. The hotel staff was very friendly & helpful. We are not from the area and the manager went above & beyond on giving us ideas of things to do in the area. Room was clean, roomy, and comfortable. Free breakfast was more than we expected.

We walked into a clean lobby, saw a nice family swimming pool with several people having a good time, looked over the clean dining area and went up to our comfortable room. Beds were great, quilts were comfortable, but not too heavy. Great location. Only about 15 minutes from campus. The employees at the front desk were great. The elevators were extrememly hot ant the over all hotel seems outdated. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was Good.
