"Great Hotel"
This is a great hotel! It is an extremely good value; very clean, very nicely furnished and decorated. The staff was exceptionally friendly and courteous. It had a very homey feel too, with the central staircase leading up to the second floor where we stayed. I'd brought a salad to eat in the room that night, but I'd forgotten a fork- went downstairs […] and the lady at the front desk very graciously got one for me from the closed kitchen, and chatted with me in a very pleasant way, so nice. The beds are soooo comfortable, way more than my one at home!! Even though the hotel is literally within a shopping center, it was very quiet. There was a college baseball team staying there the night we were, and it was still very quiet! Beautiful room; everything was perfect, down to the heartycomplimentary breakfast we enjoyed the next morning. Will definitely make this our go-to spot for our trips to the Riverside area from now on! Lesa meira
"Ayres East - Corona CA - Close to everything"
I've stayed at both Ayres East and Ayres West, but I prefer East. Both locations are always friendly, clean, and comfortable. I like that they serve a real breakfast. Both are right off the 91 freeway. Ayres East shares a parking lot with multiple restaurants and stores and just across the street is a Vons and Walmart. This means you're within walking […] distance of just about anything you need (including Starbucks). Since the hotel is set into a corner of the shopping area, it's not in the high traffic area. The one downside of the Ayres East location is that there's only access from the front of the hotel. This means if your room is on the far end, you'll be walking a bit. Still, it has a nice comfortable lobby and an eating area inside and outside. Lesa meira

The staff is most helpful, hotel rooms are just fine. I have family that lives in the area, so I go there frequently. I always stay at the Ayres Inn because of their reasonable rates, location, quality and service.

"Roaches and rude staff"
We stayed at this hotel with 15 students and 4 adults on a college trip. The walls were super thin and the students were playing music. The front desk came to the room and threatened to kick us out of the hotel, no warning or request to turn it down. She was extremely rude about the situation. There is a pool upstairs and a student slipped and fell […] on the tile floor that you have to pass through to get to the rooms. The woman at the front desk didn't offer to help him or even ask if he was okay, lucky his parents did sue! There were roaches in the bath room and not just one or two but many small baby roaches. "Ayres Corona"
The hotel is behind a shopping center. They have church services off the lobby, very loud. It turned out to be about 10 mi from Glen Ivy, twice as far as hotels.com advertised.

I've grown to really appreciate the dependable comfort and service of the Ayres hotels. This was no different. A very comfortable stay and very good service. I was surprised to learn it wasn't new as it is in excellent shape!

the price was right , the room very confortable, the breakfast just okay. From 5 pm to 7pm there was happly hour, beere and wine good, however I would like to see maybe hotdogs or hamburgers instead of trail mix and cheese balls. Overall a nice place to stay, staff very friendly.

We ended up getting the handicap room because they didn't have anything else available but that just meant that we got a bigger bathroom. It was very comfortable and clean. This was the second time we stayed at this hotel and we would definitely stay there again.

I travel a lot for business and stay at hotels 200+ days per year. This place is a great hotel all around and that includes those hotels that charge 3 times as much. Best hotel on my list without exception! Just wish they were all over the country. Rated this a 5 only because there is no 10!! Second time here and we went out of our way to stay here […] again! "Very good value but don't expect personal service"
I just completed 3-week stay at this property and was very satisfied. This small chain specializes in a value-added experience for a very reasonable rate and I make a point of staying in one of their properties when I have business travel in Southern California and will continue to do so. Furnishings throughout are upscale, the beds are very comfortable […] and the rooms are spacious and quiet. I appreciated the variety of the hot breakfast every morning and the complimentary snack and drinks for happy hour M-TH evenings. Very accessible from Highway 91 and surrounded by most popular food chains and general shopping (Costco, Walmart, etc). 40 minutes from Disneyland and 10 minutes from La Sierra University and the Tyler Mall. My my only complaints, which were relatively minor given the bargain rates: (1) The towels, unlike the rest of the linens, were stiff and scratchy (told you they were minor); (2) Switching to a better brand of coffee would be a welcome change - the institutional supply brand they use tastes like what it is - Seattle's Best or similar would be a huge improvement to start the day; and lastly, but most importantly - (3) After three days the lady at Starbucks across the street knew my name and order, while after three weeks at this hotel, not a single staff member seemed to recognize me or even once asked how my stay was going or if I needed anything. As a frequent business traveler I have come to accept that most of the hotel staff will be difficult to communicate with on account of the language barrier, but for the front-desk staff and management to not show any interest whatsoever in their guests unless approached and asked a question? Seriously? I'd suggest some serious customer service training for the front desk staff at least - maybe have them work at the Starbucks for a few weeks to teach them how to make your customers feel welcomed. I have stayed here many times. The hotel is convenient, very clean and has friendly personnel. The breakfast is well done. I stay here when I am in the area and have not regretted it.

"Great hotel for the price!"
The room was really comfortable and quiet, which was surprising since it's near the freeway. It was also really modern-looking and the lobby has an awesome fireplace. The customer service was great and I would definitely stay there again!

We were very satisfied with our stay and especially the staff. Why this hotel is graded at just 2 1/2 stars is beyond me. I have stayed in 3 and 4 star places that didn't match up to what this hotel had to offer and the rooms. The breakfast was very good (at least ours was). YOU NEED TO STAY HERE!!!! "So. Cal friends visit"
While in So. Cal visiting family we took a day to visit friends we had traveled with before. Booked this hotel as we have stayed at other Ayres properites. We were not dissapointed. The hotel was close to shopping, restaurants and 91 freeway close. Another outstanding Ayres property with clean rooms and a very friendly and helpful staff. "GREAT PLACE TO STAY!"
GREAT PLACE TO STAY... forget the star rating, nothing beats good customer service. We had a couple small things we noticed, but were suprised at how quickly they were fixed and more than made up for. We travel alot..and definately plan to stay here anytime we are in riverside! Helpfull and nice (yes smiling) staff Beds are more comfortable than hotels […] 3 and 4 times the cost. Nice style... a little different from your standard room Overall great Value! Lesa meira

We booked this Hotel because we were just visiting up the street and knowing we would be leaving our friends home late, we decided to stay here......It was way more than we expected.....Check-in and out personel were very professional...Courteous...We only stayed the one night and stayed until the last minute. The place is beautiful. Everything was […] exceptionally neat and clean. All comforts of home at a great reasonable price. The rooms were off the chart... A step higher than Excellent!!! he next morning, we walked around the area and had lunch before leaving. We would definately reccommend this to friends and family. i've read all the comments before i booked here, and all the good reviews were accurate. rooms are not huge but it's not small. It was just right. The place was clean, the people at the front desk were nice, and very honest. We left one of our cell phones in the room after checking out and we called right away to have someone check it was there, within […] 10 minutes, we got a call back from the hotel and got the phone back. "Great room for the money"
I honestly wasn't expecting much since the price was so good, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and attentive, the room was clean, the bed was amazingly comfortable, and the full breakfast every morning was the added bonus! All in all, a fantastic week in a fantastic hotel!

We visit the Corona area fairly often, and have found the Ayres Inn Corona East to be the best spot AND the best value. For example, we had a slight problem with our air conditioning, called the desk, and a very pleasant maintenance man knocked on our door within about 3 minutes. He not only "fixed" the problem, but showed us what to do if it recurred. […] And then he told us how to find him directly if we needed anything. The breakfast is very nice, again a good value. We were stuck in a handicap room because I can not do stairs. There is no elevator. Our room looked old. The TV was old and the sound was muffled, the A/C unit took a very long time to cool the room off and there was no counter space in the bathroom.
