"A little bit of Swiss Country Side - in the City"
Very basic, but clean and functional rooms. Wonderful overall ambience throughout the hotel and the many outdoor areas to relax, take in the fresh country air, and to enjoy the magnificent view of Lake Zurich. I wish the Internet access was free - it gets costly. Also, they have coffee service setup at the Buffet in the mornings. Don't make the mistake […] I made by using this machine. It's evidently for their conference customers. I was admonished (and so were several others) by the hotel staff. Note to Hotel: Simply put a sign next to the coffee machine indicating that it's not for general use. Your servers (and manager) don't have to make the guests feel like idiots. This was the only consistent inhosptiable portion of my stay there - and easily correctable. Lesa meira
"Hotel zurichberg - relaxing and classy"
My stay for 5 days at the Hotel Zurichberg was wonderful. The facilities are very nice and the food is good. The hotel is on a hill overlooking Zurich. It is out of the hustle and bustle of downtown and has a very relaxed, classy atmosphere. The tram ride to downtown is only about 15 minutes plus a 10 minute walk, making access to downtown easy. There […] are nice running trails in a forest preserve across the road - up to 7 mile loops. The zoo is also close. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay. Lesa meira

"Stunning Location"
Loved the location and service top notch!. If you are a non smoker make sure the room is fresh and smoke free-while we needed to see three rooms the staff were more than accomodating in making sure the room was airy and fresh smelling. Perhaps the Sorell organization should charge an additional 150 CHF if customers abuse the new suisse law banning smoking […] in the rooms to better assure that the rooms are smoke free. Overall the views are spectacular the staff top notch and it is close to the Tram stop-Zoo for easy and convenient access to down town. Would definitely stay there again-thank you Sorell staff. "Sorell Zuerichburg Hotel, Zurich"
The location is in the middle of nowhere, there are no nearby restaurants nor shops. It is on top of a hill which provides a beautiful view of the city but that's it. The staff isn't very friendly but the breakfast was nice. The price was over the top for the poor location and no frills. No workout room, no pool. The rooms were very clean and had a […] cappuccino maker in it. Upon arrival they gave us a pear an apple and an orange. If you want a peaceful sleep and have money to burn book here. Lesa meira

The hotel is delightful, at the top of a small mountain overlooking Zurich and its lake, and with many walking paths through the woods. The view is superb. The breakfast restaurant has an excellent assortment of breads, cheeses, meats, and yoghurts, cereals, and fruits. Tram #6 goes very near the hotel at the stop for the zoo. In der Reservation wurden die Zimmer mit Blick auf Berge und Stadt Zürich präsentiert. In Wahrheit sind die wenigsten Zimmer mit Blick auf diese Schönheiten...
hotel hors ville (mais 6km seulement), tram à 400m vers Hauptbahnof, à côté du zoo et en bordure de forêt. Vue splendide sur le lac. Propice aux promenades et calme garanti. Petit-déjeuner très complet. Excellent restaurant.

Eigentlich kann ich nur positives Berichten, es war ein super Aufenthalt. Im internationalen Vergleich sind die Zimmer eher klein, aber für Zürich absolut normal. Einrichtung, design: super! Frühstück: genial!

I spend a nice and romantic weekend there. It is not in the city center but a tram brings you there quickly. The location is beautiful though and very calm. Breakfast was great! I would go back there!

Dieses Design-Hotel mit wunderschönem Intérieur ist herrlich gelegen. Der Service ist sehr gut, leider fällt das Restaurant im Vergleich zum Hotel etwas ab.

Dejligt hotel med en fantastisk udsigt lidt uden for byen.

Dit hotel ligt op een prachtige locatie met zicht op het meer en de stad. De tram is vlakbij en dit is werkelijk de enige oplossing om snel in de stad te zijn. De auto kan makkelijk in de parkeergarage van het hotel tegen betaling. Ideaal hotel voor vele doeleinden. Mooi terras om bij goed weer nog eens na te genieten van de dag.

Tolle Lage mit Blick auf Zürich / Zürichsee und sehr ruhig. Service-Personal erscheint etwas "angestrengt" - es fehlt natürliche Herzlichkeit. Rezeption oft nicht wahrnehmbar, da hinter dem Tresen "versteckt". Zimmer stylisch und teils unpraktisch.

"Schöne Lage am Rande der Stadt"
das zürichberg wurde von uns für einen urbanen städte, kunst- und konzerttrip genutzt. auch wenn sich das hotel am rande der stadt mit herrlichem blick bis in die berge befindet und die umgebung zu ausgiebigen spaziergängen einlädt, mit der straßenbahn von der haltestelle zoo ist man im 10-minuten-takt in einer viertelstunde im zentrum zürichs. das […] frühstücksbüffet ist stilvoll angerichtet und lässt keine wünsche offen. die hotelbar ist ein echter klassiker, tolle drinks in modernem, aber warm designten ambiente. wir wohnten im modernen trakt, einer ansprechenden art guggenheim-architektur. die minimale einrichtung, prima bad (selbst ans quietscheentchen wurde gedacht), die pflanzen, die eigene nespressomaschine gefielen sehr. man sollte lediglich wissen, dass fast keinerlei wellness-features vorhanden sind. alles in allem: klasse hotel für design-affines publikum. "Top location in Zurich !"
This is an excellent hotel with great views, nice atmosphere and good service. The ambiance in the bar and in the restaurant are super and certainly when the weather is nice, sitting outside with a view on the city and the lake from the hillside is a thrill. Top !
