The quality of this hotel is extremely poor for the price I paid. Any other hotel with this quality in this area would have cost about one fourth of what I paid. One of the hotel staff at the check in counter was a bit rude during check in. I was highly unsatisfied and would never recommend this dump to anyone.

We were in town for the Brantley Gilbert concert and stayed at the Red Roof Inn..It was a perfect location to the Schott..The lady at the front desk was very polite. I think pretty much everyone stayin there was goin to the concert so it was a little loud and crazy but aslong as u were there for the same reason it was fine. From the rock hard bed and pillows to the lack of overall disgustingness of the room, this hotel offers nothing but disappointment. The $59 a night price tag was no deal for this place. We were very pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Red Roof Inn OSU North. We were in town for a dog show and the location was very convenient to the Expo Center. The area felt very safe. The hotel was adjacent to a shopping complex with every kind of eatery you could imagine as well as Krogers, Big Lots, & a beverage/party store. We asked for and […] received a first floor room with hdcp parking at our door. Grassy areas were very convenient for our dogs. I believe our room was supposed to be ADA accessible. Not sure it would meet all criteria but it was sufficient for my needs. The tub had grab bars and the toilet was higher. The bathroom was large with a wider door, but I noticed the sink (located in bedroom) was high and would be difficult for a wheelchair. The room furnishings were average with some nice details that I didn't expect (coffee maker, newer TV, hair dryer, desk area and nice office chair). We were satisfied with the cleanliness of the room and bed linens considering the very reasonable price we paid for the room. Housekeeping made up the beds and replaced the towels for us, even providing additional toiletries. WiFi worked just fine the entire time we were there. My bed could have used a bit of memory foam to make it a little more comfortable but it was very manageable. Check in was a very pleasant experience and we were not even required to leave a credit card on file! We will definitely return here for our next visit. Lesa meira

I stayed in a superior king room for 3 nts midweek. The room was comfortable, although the bed rolled to the middle and the pillows were too hard. The desk area was good for working. Housekeeping was effective and unobtrusive. Water pressure was acceptable. The bathroom is tiny. My favorite thing about this hotel was its location. It's on the corner […] of Olentangy River Rd, which is a good connector to the campus as well as Hwy 315. Rate was a good price for a no frills place to stay. In a college town, I suppose you can expect noise throughout the night, and the coming/going in the room next to us lasted until at least 4 am. My wife and I decided not to book another motel that has outside entry rooms. We'll pay a little more for a more relaxing stay. Pet friendly policy was nice. […] No hassles. Rooms need up dating. It was cold and the blanket might as well have been missing. Their computer problems became mine as they expected me to wait until they figured out the issues, at 11pm that did not sit well. It was also too noisy. Definitely not worth the price.

Hotel is at a very busy intersection, so street noise is heard in the evening and starts back up around 6:00 AM. Kids running in a second floor room sounded like stampede. The bed and linens were clean, but pillows are hard and uncomfortable. The room was basically clean. The location near campus was perfect for my purposes and the hotel was very clean but well worn. The desk staff was helpful with directions, putting me on a high floor because I am a light sleeper. For the price it can't be beat.

Stayed overnight before a concert at Schottenstein...was able to walk 15 min to the show! Not to mention the restaurants across the street. Great value for the price.

The room had cob webs in the corners of the window and ceiling. The covers on the light fixtures in the bathroom were dirty and cracked. The paint was peeling off of the heater in the bathroom. The room was very noisy so it was difficult to sleep even though I was very tired.

There was a dead cockroach on the floor, no tissues in the room, no hair dryer, and cigarette marks on the blanket.

Stayed for two nights, and both nights there was a bunch of students having a room party down the way from our room. Very noisy. Probably won't stay at this hotel in the future even though it was convenient to surrounding activities.

Plumbing had some problems, no bedbugs(big problem in Columbus as a whole)but one of the neighboring rooms had roaches or some sort of bug. Chambermaid was goo, walkway kept clean of snow good hotel for the money. Convenient location. Quiet.

My expectations were not set very high ; however for the cost, location and free wi-fi, I knew we could manage for this very brief stay. The free wi-fi was mandatory for my stay, as I work from the road. When I called the front desk to ask them how long their wi-fi would be down, her reply was" I don't know, we've had problems for a while now, we can't […] seem to make any headway with our provider, you can call them if you'd like, maybe you can get somewhere with these people!" I don't believe as a guest I'm paid to do this employees' job for her. So unable to do my orders on line at midnight, cost me an approximate $2000.00. Lesa meira

This wasn't a bad hotel for just needing it to sleep in. If you would plan on spending anymore time than just sleeping I would upgrade.

The wireless internet problem did not resolve itself until over half way into my trip. I needed the internet for business. Very disappointing. The internet company was not swift at coming out to rectify the situation. My king size bed was on a slant... not sure if it was the saggy mattress or the bed frame ;( I have been in better executive/super suites […] in other Red Roof's. The motel was quite close to one end of campus, which made it convenient for the purposes of my trip. The room was clean, but needed a bit of updating in the bathroom. I felt safe there and I got a great night's sleep.

Great value for the money. I travel for a living. Have stayed in Columbus a number of times and had some very harrowing experiences. I reluctantly tried the red roof at ohu and was pleasantly suprised with the very nice, clean, fresh room.
