terrible. was suppose to be a non smoking room we breated peoples smoke all night11 it was sickning we will never stay there again!!

"Shilo Inn in Twin Falls - next to noisy car dealer"
I found this hotel to be good in the amenities it offered but a few irritations made the stay not so pleasant. We were there two nights but we received no housekeeping services during our stay and our garbage cans were overflowing by the time we checked out. The hotel is situated right on the main thoroughfare right next to a car dealer who announces […] over a loud PA system every phone call that comes in or every customer who just bought a car. This not only disrupted any naps we might want to take in the day but customers were still buying at 9 in the evening. If you stay at this hotel be sure to get out to the sight-seeing and shopping during the day and request a room in the back for less noise in the evening. Lesa meira

We always stay at the Shilo when traveling to Twin Falls. It is a very convenient location with shopping and restaurants nearby. The rooms are spacious and clean.

This was one of the nicest hotels i've stayed in is some time. The staff was friendly. It was easily a better hotel than some i've been to with higher star ratings. I liked it enough i have even made plans to go back.
"Needs updates and maintenance"
The Shilo is likely the least expensive chain hotel in Twin Falls but the trade-off is that a number of things need to be repaired or updated. The following is what I observed during 2 stays with a week separating them. Multiple amenities were out of order over a week's time: ice machines on several floors were not working, the steam room by the pool […] was not working, and the business fax was not working. The carpets throughout the public areas are worn and wrinkled - the stair carpets are in especially poor condition. Of the two rooms we stayed in, one had visible traffic pattern soiling and the other room wasn't vacuumed as well as it could have been. Bath water on the fourth floor took at least 3-4 minutes to get warm - and the hot/cold sides were reversed. The wi-fi was slow - took about 30 minutes to download a 22-minute TV program from i-Tunes. The pool deck doesn't drain, so you have to walk through big, cold puddles of water. The tiles around the hot tub appear grungy. Shilo corporate needs to spend some money in Twin Falls to make this hotel less third-rate. Lesa meira
"Twin Falls Idaho stay was great"
I'm sure it was more elegant in its day, as the hotel room showed some wear. But you can tell they tried to fix the worn parts. Overall, the room was very clean, lots of room, all the extras. We were very satisfied. The location was great.

I have stayed here before and like the acomidations, the rooms are big and reasonably priced the only thing this time was there were two school busses full of high school kids staying here and it seemed like they were running the halls screaming and laughing most of the night. "Kiddo loved the pool"
I think the Shilo Inn is a pretty good deal. The hotel has been there for a while so it's showing a little wear, but it seems they've kept it pretty well maintained. The pool is pretty nice, my 3 year old loved it. They had a free continental breakfast that had quite a variety compared to many a free "breakfast" I've seen before. Staff was very courteous. […] Wireless internet was fast and reliable, beds were a bit firm for my taste, but comfortable and the room was spacious and quiet. This hotel is very close to the mall, Target, Costco, Winco and other shopping and restaurants within walking distance. I most definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good deal but not sacrifice comfort and cleanliness. Lesa meira

"OK but not great"
The breakfast was missing alot. Cereal was Corn Flakes and Rice Krispies. Only fruit was an orange. The bed was like a rock.
i think its a great place to stay some things you may concider. the beds are way to hard to sleep on and maybe some bigger pillows. the staff was outstanding and very polite, we were very upset the way the swimming pool lookt you can feel the dirt on the bottom of the pool and when you look into the pool it looks like it hasent been clean in a while. We stay here when in the Twin Falls area, as they always cater to our needs. No matter what time of day or night. They have us spoiled.

"Unacceptable"
After being up since 2am and driving 7 hours the last thing we wanted to deal with was problem after problem. When we arrived there were high school and college kids, I asked if we would be on a different floor was told yes and it was a lie. We arrived at the room and the heater did not work, it was warmer outside (35-40 degress) then in the room. We […] were given another room and the keys would not work had to return to the front desk and have them come let us in. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable but with the hassle of finally getting in the room made the experience a minus. I would not recommend this to anybody, the hotel was kind of run down and the staff was very unexperienced in making the customers happy. Lesa meira

"Spacious and clean room"
Room was spacious and clean. Bed was a little too firm for me and room was noisy...could hear people in the hallway all night. Motel was very close to shopping, restaurants and the LDS Temple.

"Shilo Twin Falls close to all services and on main"
Stayed at this hotel every three months for two years. Close to all services. Internet connection is excellent. Will stay again when i the area even though newer facilities have been resently openned.
"A solid place to stay"
Pros: Spacious room, inexpensive, decent location, pool and hot tub open 24/7 Cons: Rather pricey pet fee ($25/night), room furnishings feel very dated. This is overall a pretty good place to stay, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

"Very comfortable and affordable"
I was really surprised by the comfort of a suite room we got for a very reasonable price of a motel. The hotel is above average, the room furniture is well kept and nice looking. We got a bed for sleep and a sofa and desk for work, with a free internet included. The staff was friendly. Would definitely recommend to other travelers.

This place was very nice. The rooms are fantastic. The breakfast was good. The Suana and one of the elevators and one stall in the bathroom by the pool had "out of order-Do not USE" signs. I do not know how long they have been like that....or how much longer until each of those are fixed. It looks bad to have out of order signs around.

"Comfortable but could use some work"
I was at the Shilo in Twin Falls two years ago and the ice machines on all floors but the first said 'out of order'. This stay the ice machines were still out of order. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The only other recommendation would be to get bigger television sets. It was difficult watching football on such a small TV.
