"close to a lot of places"
The main entrance had a fountain pool that had a big crack in it and the top of the fountain was leaning that wasn't a good thing to look at every day. Also the hotel was under construction and I had asked to be moved several times because of the noise being right under my room and I was ignored. Mostly quiet, the office I was auditing was 1/2 mile from hotel. Plenty of restaurants to chose from. The staff were very helpful. "Loved the screaming people"
Thank you to the screaming people fighting at 1 in the morning and again the whole next morning while we were getting to leave. Hotel room was very small and dated. "Good and bad stay"
Bed sagged, no hand towels were in the room when I arrived on my first day. I left a note to leave a specific number of coffee packages in the room each day and out of 3 days it was done right once. "Not so great!"
When we arrived we were very excited to stay in the area. Lots of restaurants near by AMD within walking distance. The staff at the counter were very nice and welcoming. My initial reaction of the premises inside and outside was it was an old hotel. My guess is it was built in the 80's. We were given a room on the 2nd floor and when we walked in it […] was stuffy and hot. We kicked on the old ac unit and it blew very slowly even on the highest setting. It was only a 90 degree day so I expected it to cool off quick. After 2hrs, the temp didn't seem to drop at all. I went down to the front desk and told them I would like another room and they did it without question. They were very nice. The 2nd room was cooler upon entering and the ac kept it cool. The ac units are very outdated as are the furnishings. The beds were soft but comfortable for my wife, daughter and I. The room just felt old and dirty. The floors made our feet black when walking around and the tub had mold in the caulking. We paid to stay two nights. We went out in the morning and came back at 2pm and our room had not been made up. No one put on fresh linens and no one picked up the trash or the pile of towels we left on the floor. We decided to just leave early and spend another night there.
