Commode seat was cracked and the smoke detector beeped every few minutes not to mention no hot water for a shower. Will definately not be booking a room in the future

Towels were stained and had holes. The front desk was always unattended. Blankets and pillow cases were also stained. Definitely get what you pay for here. If money is an issue, you can deal by bringing own towels and pillow cases.

The stay at the hotel was not a good experience. We will not stay there again. The staff was very frendily and no help at all. They ran out of coffee on Sunday morning after one pot and no coffee was furnished again.

Toilet was backed up on arrival. Hallway smelled heavily of smoke. Needs a little TLC on maintaining the building. Breakfast was poor, even for a lower rate hotel. The coffee was very week, the juice machine was broken and they had nothing but cereal, waffles, and two choices of dry pastry items. Thank God Mc Donalds was close by.... The motel is old. It needs a makeover for sure. If you just need a bed and a shower for the next day you will get just that. If you need any sort of luxury go elsewhere but for the penny pincher it will work.

Just a quick trip in and out. Arrived at midnight and gone by 8 am.....WiFi wasnt working but I was tired enough not to care. Only a few cars in lot and it was the wed night before thanksgiving and no breakfast was served on Thur morning. No one at desk to complain too. It was a clean hotel in a good spot. I would stay again.

My husband and I were very disappointed with our stay. The first room was missing a micowave and refrigerator, had a non working tv not enought towels . We were given another room that needed more towels, but was nice it seemed, but around 12:00pm we were awakened by a cricket in the air-conditioner, the noise was were loud so manager came up at our […] request and sprayed, which was not good to breathe in. It did not get rid of the cricket. The next morning we had to take cold showers, there was no hot water. Breakfast was advertised, but there was no breakfast, not even a cup of coffee. We were there to attend a funeral in a near by town @ 11:00am so we could have use that breakfast. The man @ the front desk pretended he knew nothing when my husband tried to speak to him about our concerns. He did not give good customer service. Lesa meira

We were not very excited when we got to our hotel. It was hard to locate from the mapquest directions which was wrong and the hotel looked to be in a makeover. I specifically called the 866 number to see if there were modern tv's and was told yes. There were not--it was an old tv. Also, listed on the hotels.com website, it stated that there would be […] a refrigerator and microwave in the room as well. There was not. The place was run down and smelled of garlic. The hotel was nice in the outside, the room were clean but the lamps in the restroom sink were not working nor one of the bed lamps, also the wireless internet was not working

It was horrible. The door would not close securely. They did not have any information in the room about breakfast, which was over by 8am. The clerk was not at the desk when we first got there to check in. She looked at my id and said go to this room. We didn't sign anything. This was the third night in different hotels booked through hotels.com and […] she did it completley different. We stayed at this Econo Lodge for 2 days/nights while attending a family event. The only negatives were the breakfast choices and cups and such for our breakfast, and that we had to ask for things such as coffee for our room and other items that are generally already in the room. The management/employees were good about getting us what we asked for. […] We would stay here again if the occasion arises...The rates were very good so we were happy with that. The hotel rooms do not have working lights, air conditioning does not work, and our room had a tv that only had 3 stations and no volume. I recommend not staying at this hotel. Pay a few dollars more to have the peice of mind.

When I pulled up there were two cars in the parking lot. The outside looked rough and rundown. As I entered a strong smell hit me. Not pleasant and not guest-ready. Noone at desk so I hit the bell. 30 seconds later a man in street clothes came from a back hallway to check me in. As I made my room, it was nice and clean. The rooms were clean. They let us take our show rabbits into our rooms. Kids really enjoyed the internet access on their I-Pods and the free breakfast.

The room was very clean and I was comfortable. My only concern was that the main lobby was dark even during the day. No one was ever at the front desk you had to ring the bell to get any service. Anytime day or night the front door was open (not shut - open). If you wanted ice you had to ask the front desk, but since they weren't there, why bother. I recently booked two rooms for three nights each. I tried contacting the hotel two days prior to the reservation to let them know I needed to change one to a different arrival date. I spoke to someone that advised me to call back "tomorrow" and speak to the manager. I called 4 times the following day and each time the phone was was picked up and hung […] up. They did accommodate us once we arrived and the customer service was decent. You can tell by the condition of the hotel that they are struggling which I can look past, but I was disappointed by cleanliness of the public areas of the hotel. This hotel would be ok if you were only passing thru and needed a bed to sleep in. I did notice that there were other hotels in this immediate area that were in worse shape. If you are planning on an extended stay, I would buck up and pay the higher price for one of the newer hotels at the main Greenville exit. Lesa meira

I would not stay in this hotel again, I had my husband to buy some fragrance spray because the room had a weird odor. It was very unorganized and did not look clean. My daughter has been sick ever since we stayed there. I will have it checked out!

First room they gave us had the door and window open therefore the air was off and it was like 107 outside. Requested another room. In this room the air was on, but was not very cool. After looking at it we noticed that it was frezzing up. Took the real dirty filter out and around 3:00AM the room was much cooler.

To keep it short my wife and I were in town for a funeral, and upon entry we were already disgusted. There was no one at the front desk but a 12 year old child, everything was covered in dust, the ceiling was rotted with water damage, there were dead bugs in plain sight. We arrived at 2 but we were told our room wasn't ready. After a 20 minute wait […] we were handed our towels which we carried to our room. The toilet in our room wouldn't flush, the minini fridge was not only broken but emitting a stench, and our air conditioner would not turn on. I tried reporting these issues however with no one ever at the desk the task was near impossible. Our bed was dressed with no fitted sheet and a condom wrapper was found under the bed. We woke up the following day and walked past the empty breakfast corner, that should have been stocked with the promised contiental meal, setting our room key on the counter of the still abandoned front desk. The entire stay was apalling. I honestly have no understanding of how this establishment stays open, nor that a hotel chain would tolerate such awful service. Lesa meira

The price was nice,but maybe we expected a little more from this 2.9 star hotel,It seemed like the owner's or management just really didn't care to make it a better experience for their guest.No inviting presence at the entrance, (door stuck open and lobby dark,due to no lights on, it looked abandoned),and we had to hit a bell at the desk to get someone […] to check us in. It is an econo lodge...it is what it is. It just was creepy. The room was oddly large and felt shady. But...it is an econo lodge and you get what you pay for.

From the outside it looks good. When you first walk in there is a separate entry that has a terrible smell. Looks clean when you first walk in but the office area was very messy. Had to have my keys changed 3 times as it would not work. Walking to my room you pass the laundry area which was wide open and very messy. My room was nice and cold if anything […] was good. Air conditioner very loud when on and no separate way to just run fan. The bed was horrible. Hard, sheets wouldn't stay on, blanket had holes all in it, one of the pillows had its insides coming out and top comforter was nasty. I liked to never have gotten them to understand I needed another blanket as there was a language barrier though the 2 men I dealt with were very nice. Bathroom was OK but did find dead roach. Noise level you could hear everything going on outside hallways as well as upstairs as long as air conditioner wasn't on. Most light fixtures had no bulbs or things were not plugged in. Had a block of 3 rooms; each had problems. My room was smelly and had mildew in the shower, one room had no alarm clock/radio, one had very weak air conditioning, one had a dead outlet, and all had broken drawer pulls. There was nothing healthy for breakfast except orange juice. Other than that, stale doughnuts, sugary cereals, Belgian waffles, toast, […] and coffee.
