The hotel was convenient and was comfortable. For a one night stay in order to fly out of the airport it worked out well. The bonus was having a good Chinese restaurant next door.

"Good location"
Even thou the hotel is located near I35 (which is one of the main and busy interstates in Texas), I did not feel any noise. This location is near many businesses which is good for me. In the overall I will not mind recemmending this place to a friend .

"Great hotel for UNT"
I came to Denton to audition at UNT, and chose this hotel for its location near campus. My stay was fantastic, the staff were super nice, and it was indeed a short 25 minute walk to the School of Music in the middle of campus. I would stay here again, and would tell my family to stay there also.
"not recommended"
Well, our water pipes froze during a winter storm and we needed a place to shower. It was one of the cheaper places in town, and the location was convenient. The room smelled of cigarettes, and the light over the sink didn't work (they gave us a $20 discount). One of the days we went the water was barely lukewarm. "Basic but Sufficient for Quick Stays"
Considering the rate that I paid for single night when interviewing with TWU, the hotel was sufficient. The wireless internet worked well, the beds were adequately comfortable, and the room was very clean. "Clean and convenient to UNT, but old and pricey"
My room on the second floor had walls thin enough to allow me to hear the rowdy conversation of the people partying next door. People walking by on the balcony in front of my room caused the floor to vibrate and shake my bed. Desk clerk was courteous. Everything was clean and it is close to UNT, but I felt it was overpriced for such an old motel.

"La Quinta Inn Denton - close to UNT"
This was my second stay at this hotel. My first stay was in a ground level room. This time I was on the 2nd floor. The walls seem to be thinner upstairs. I didn't hear a sound my first stay, but my 2nd stay on the 2nd floor, I seemed to hear everything in surrounding rooms. This hotel still has the most comfortable beds I've slept in at a hotel!

"Affordable in Denton"
Mixed reaction: This facility is obviously pretty old. It is convenient to the expressway, and they have a Texas-shaped waffle iron, which is pretty cool. The towels were mighty small and thin. The people at the front desk were wonderful.

Couldn't have been happier with the service we got. Very pleasesd with our stay. A lot for the money.

This hotel was old and dirty!! The food was stale and cold. The manager was nice and helpful, but the hotel itself needs a lot of work.

The proximity to North Texas can't be beat, but the beds were very hard. I managed, but might spend more money elsewhere in order to be able to sleep through the night.

Yes the room was inexpensive but for $10 dollars more one could go to another hotel in the same area. The breakfast was not that great either. I was expecting more even for the price I paid.

It was a decent room, and overall was fairly good. It did seem a little pricey compared to what you're getting. It also wasn't really dirty, but also didn't seem too terribly clean. It just seemed old.

I recommend the La Quinta only if you are in need of a very basic room. The only frill is a pool centered in the middle of the hotel space, which seems to increase the humidity within rooms on the lower level. Si bien el hotel está limpio, la impresión de las habitaciones es que es un hotel viejo y descuidado. Las habitaciones están por fuera, la alberca en un estado deplorable. Para pasar una sola noche está ok, pero no más.

A good location and easy to find and get to when travel. surprisingly quiet even if my room was facing the highway.Breakfast was also very good and had all the things that ones need. The waffle was shaped as Texas, witch was an extra plus. Finally the bed was great.
