"Best Western Convention Center NY - fínasta hótel"Metið af Hulda G frá "Ísland" þann 8. apr. 2012
Fínasta hótel á góðu verði og vel staðsett. Stutt að Times Square. Góður og vel útilátinn morgun matur og hreinlæti á herbergjunum mjög gott. Mæli með Best Western ef fólk vill hagstætt en gott hótel. Við vorum með tvö börn með okkur, 9 og 12 ára sem líkaði einnig vel :)

Hótelið er nálægt flugvellinum og er fínnt til að skella sér á yfir nótt, skoðaði ekkert hversu nálægt það var annari þjónustu.

"Newark Airport Hilton- Poor front desk help"
The room was OK for one night, the bed was very comfortable but the bathroom needed attention. On departure, the front desk clerk barely made eye contact and seemed pained that I had asked a question. She started typing on her keyboard and never looked up again. Good stay - quick pick-up from the airport via shuttle bus. Quiet. Great pool - very warm!
"tired with children"
We were exhausted from the flight with two small children. I asked for a crib in our room ASAP and it was waiting for us as we exited the elevator! We ordered a meal to eat in our room - totally excited to have PB&J for the kids - and our meals were fantastic as well. The girl taking our food order was so nice and helpful! I was exhausted after flying 10 hours and having to make another flight in six hours. The staff at the hotel were lovely and caring. The shuttle ran ontime and when you are making a three am flight that is important. Flew in a day early and stayed here overnight before leaving on a cruise out of NY the next day. Hotel was conveniently located to Newark Aprt. The Hilton Shuttle picked us up promptly for the approx 10minute drive to Hotel.. . Hotel was very pretty, very clearn, room and bed were clean and comfortable. Food in the restaurant was good. "Boyfriend's Birthday"
I stayed here with my boyfriend 9/17/11. The hotel and room was very clean and I have to admit I really enjoyed my stay here. The bed was so comfortable....the only thing that was slightly annoying was the fact that you had to pay for parking. Thank goodness I brought my ticket inside for validation or else I would have been paying $17.00 for the inside […] garage. I heard the outside one was $12.00. The hotel validated it for $10.00 but I'm still surprised that parking was not free. I would still stay here again because overall the experience was a good one. Lesa meira

"Great Travel Location"
You can get a free bus from the airport to hotel, you can use this free bus to then get back to the airport and use the air train intoi NY. Great value at $12.50 each way (Cab will cost you around $65.00) Train only takes 30 mins.
"Good value"
It was a little tricky to find. They charged you for parking and Internet. The outside parking is cheaper than the garage. No comment on the breakfast, since we missed it. The room was clean and the service was very good.

The shuttle service from the airport was a little slow, but other than that the hotel was very prompt with everything else. Check in was quick and smooth. Nice facility. Very conveniently located near the Newark Airport. We would stay there again.

I stayed at this hotel the weekend of 9 -09 to 9-11 and everything about this hotel was amazing!! The food the bar the location! Especially the pool and spa area. 5 minutes away from a huge outlet mall.
"Just "OK""
Nothing bad at this hotel, nothing stands out either. The rooms could use an update especially the bathrooms. Water pressure on the 7th floor was weak. The food in the restaurant was fair at best, although room service was very prompt.
"For airport users it's nice"
We wanted to save money on a three-day weekend in Manhattan. We chose this hotel because it had free airport shuttles and a great single-night price. We thought we'd take the AirTrain from Newark Airport into town each day. Turns out the AirTrain is $30 each way per person! That's $120 per day round trip for two people. "Nice hotel for a EWR layover"
But there's absolutely nothing out there within walking distance, no park, no restaurant, nothing to see or do. Free shuttle service is every 20 minutes which is great.
"Awful Management"
Took 20 mins to get the room assigned even after prior reservation. Asked for a double bed got assigned a single bed in the end. In that 20 min I had seen 3-4 people coming in and complaining about something or the other. Hotel charged $10 for parking. The only good thing was that the rooms were OK.

Room with king-size bed was very nicely appointed. There was a problem with a movie order that was promptly rectified by staff. Only complaint: Call me old-fashioned, but it seems that if you are renting a room from a hotel they ought to give you a place to put your car for free. They got me for $12, which, I supposed could be worse, but . . .. Also, […] there were all sorts of "no parking" signs near the front of the hotel, so I didn't feel comfortable leaving my car when I checked in alone. "Dont be confused by the Hilton name"
Had a terrible experience. Room keys did not work several times, phones in the room were dead, WiFi did not work, they couldn't find packages sent to me via FedEx even though I had warned them beforehand they were on the way and had tracking numbers and arrival confirmations (later resolved). Other guests checking in also seemed to have a host of problems […] including being given a room with someone else already in it. Cant recommend at all except for the location. Lesa meira
"I would not stay there again"
I have made a reservation for non-smocking room and got a smoking room. They couldn't give me another because they were all booked. My toilet was clogged and full of stuff from the previous stay. They fixed it and cleaned right away while I was waiting, exhausted from my long overseas flight. The stuff couldn't do any better then offer me $10 worth […] of compensation. Next morning, it was raining. The airport shuttle bus was leaking water on passengers through the sunroof, a few back seats were all wet and useless. I never stay there again. My worst stay ever. "Great until the power went out"
I spent three nights here within 5 days. On the 2nd round, the hotel lost power due to Hurricane Irene at about 8am. At 9am, I walked down the stairs to get to breakfast. I was impressed that they had a hot breakfast waiting for us, but disappointed that they didn't let everyone know what was going on, offer to help us carry luggage doen several flights […] of stairs. after about an hour-and-half, they put one elevator back into operation even though the power was still out, which solved most problems. The bar is great, TVs and the bar menu is the same as the restaurant; super service in the bar. Btw, the steak was horrible: tough, overcooked. Lesa meira

We booked a non smoking room, but the sheets smelled of cigarette smoke (is the housekeeping smoking while working or are the sheets not changed?) and the hallway smelled of cigarette smoke. They need to to have separate non smoking floors and not just supposedly non smoking rooms.

"EWR Hilton Stay"
Stayed here as a tourist who wanted to see NY city. Liked everything about the hotel except Free shuttle from Airport. Had to wait 15-30 minutes everytime I used. I could see shuttle of similar hotel leave multiple times before i could get mine.

"Airport Hilton - Worth the stay"
This hotel was fantastic for the price. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, especially the maid service. The room was clean and spacious. The front desk personnel were very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay top of the line. Will definately stay at this hotel when ever I visit New Jersey.

"Little taste of heaven"
The Hilton was a great escape from the kios of new york. Upon entering it felt like heaven...the room was clean, comfortable and our stay was fantastic!

My family were returning to the UK after a vacation in the USA and the Turks and Caicos Islands, but were travelling on different days. The Hilton provided us with a convenient base adjacent to Newark International Airport and with easy communication to New York City. "Great if flying into or out of Newark Airport"
If you have a late or early flight from Newark Airport, this hotel is very convenient. It has a free airport shuttle too. Indoor Pool and jacuzzi are very good. Waiter in the restaurant is very helpful and friendly as is the bellman.
the actual stay this time, was not long enough. It's a great property and in a great location if you need to get to the airport right away and that was exactly what I needed for this stay.
