"Hotel with atmosphere and perfect location"
Friendly and competent staff. Everybody in the reception speaks fluent english. In walking distance for everything in Sevilla. The space in the room and the parking cellar is limited due to the historic sorroundings and we would guees the hotel is difficult to find without a gps. We were very satisfied with our stay.

"Not bad"
Not a bad stay. I'd probably stay here again. I don't have anything amazing to say about it one way or the other.
"Hard to find, hard to sleep late!"
Impossible to find, we ended up hiring a taxi to drive in front of us and where surprised when it stopped in a 7 foot wide street and the driver pointed to it! More surprise followed when we had to drive the car onto an elevator that was maybe 4 inches wider than the car! I found the hotel too expensive for what it offered. Breakfast was not included […] but internet was included. Early in the morning, we heard the clamor of the trash bins being collected and the noisy scooters whizzing by well before 6:00 AM! "Good choice for a hotel"
This was a wonderful hotel. It is clean and comfortable. However, be advised that there is wi-fi only in the lobby, not in the room. Other than that minor inconvenience, I would have no hesitation staying here again.
Although the staff at the hotel were very pleasant and the location was ok the hotel itself does not warrant a 4 star rating. I think the hotel is probably a borderline 2 to 3 star. We were allocated a room which had no access to English speaking television channels even though apparently there were rooms with such access and the fridge in the room […] did not work. When I queried the point there was no offer to change the room. Our booking stated we would have a balcony which we never but to be fair there were not many balconies in the hotel. I have previously stayed in the Best Western in Prague which is a far superior hotel for a 4 star rating. There were two very charming little courtyard areas inside the hotel itself in which you could sit and read. The low level of the hotel did not detract from our overall stay and we thoroughly enjoyed Seville but would not recommend anyone to spend the money to go on the open stop bus tour which only had four stops and lasted just over an hour. All in all, I would recommend a visit to Seville but if you want a good standard of hotel the Best Western is not the best choice. It would be perfect if a low standard hotel is desired. Lesa meira

THe hotels is located in the old part of the city which may not be everyones choice but we loved it for that reason Only a short walk to dozens of restaurants and bars and the main attractions of the city .

"excellent hotel"
Hotel was super comfortable, clean and highly maintained. Super choice in breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was I did not book a room with outside window as no window was bit claustrophobic. Would stay in this hotel again and highly recommend it. Thank you.

I actually did not end up staying in the hotel. But when I took a stroll through the city and saw a sign for the hotel, I decided to stop by to see what I may have missed out on. The hotel staff member kindly allowed me to take a tour and to see one of the rooms. This hotel is very quaint. Would like to stay here when I return to Seville.
"Hotel Cervantes, Seville"
Comprised of two very old buildings in the old part of the city, the hotel is quite remarkable. From the bus station or the train station, I would recommend a cab as it is hard to find the first time (cost of cab about 8 Euros from either). The interior, with its stained glass and moorish courtyards is refreshingly different from the usual run-of-the-mill […] offerings by Best Western. Check the beautifully ornate ceilings. Even though it is always a safe brand, this hotel is a step above. The staff are excellent and very helpful, the location (once you get used to the narrow streets in the Old Town) is excellent and restaurants and nightlife are just a stone's throw away. Cleanliness excelled, bathrooms well equipped and spotless, the hotel was quiet, away from the hustle and bustle, and it offered wonderful little alcoves and quiet corners for a glass of wine or a cup of tea. Except for a hard and uncomfortable bed in my room (I documented this with the management), I would highly recomment this hotel to travellers of all ages and interests. Lesa meira
Hotel was fine but found the location a restriction. For two ladies over 60 years of age it was too far to walk back and forth to the centre of town where the action and sights are. Taxi fares kept changing, especially in the evening. Mary
"Not as expected from a Best Western"
This Hotel had alot of good reviews but the honest view is that this hotel is a little worn. For the price you pay the hotel is tired especially in the rooms, and the location isn't that close to the main area (around the catherdral) which I would recommend you stay closer to. When we arrived to the hotel at 4pm our room wasn't ready even though check […] in is at 2pm. Not a huge disappointment but for the money you spend and for a Best Western which are generally reliable I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Lesa meira

"don't even think about it"
first of all this hotel has only 3 stars (and these 3 stars appear to be self rated). this is 2 star hotel. do not expect working ac there. i wrote to hotel weeks before my arrival and asked for quiet non smoking room. i was given room on a first floor facing internal courtyard. it had small window, when i openned it no air was coming in a room because […] i was on first floor of 3 story building. i turned ac on but nothing was happening. hotel told me to wait. it was 86 degrees in sevilla. after hours of waiting ac was not working and i was suffocating in my room. i heard other guests complained as well. i was moved to another room on top floor with slightly bigger windows but still facing courtyard. now i got air but noise was unbearable as it travells up. i was awake all noght. next day i was moved to a room facing a front and room had balcony. this was fine, noise was not bad and plenty of fresh air. hotel also gave us free breakfast. breakfast was terrible, orange juice must be from tang, coffee from machine, hams were horrible. dining room was full, i can't imagine why would anybody pay 15 euros for this. also other guests that complained about rooms did not get better rooms. i told them that i will write them up on tripadvisor. i also asked when hotel manager will be in and they told me that they had no idea. in general i did not have much luck staying in hotels where bulding is hundreds of years old. i think it is better to stay not in very central location but in newer hotel and spend extra money on taxis. "Small rooms but charming courtyard"
These are well appointed, nicely furnished rooms but they are definitely small. Location is nice, about 10-15 walk from the Cathedral and Alcazar. Many restaurants nearby. Good value, especially for the price! I noticed many people had trouble finding it. It used to be called the "Hotel Cervantes."

Room was small and stuffy and the hotel was very difficult to reach by own car..too many small alleys and parking for hotel was not on location, but a few minutes walk from hotel. Not too convenient!

There was only one person at the desk for check in and a massive queue. He didnt even say hello when I got to the counter and took a phone call halfway through my check in. Very hard to […] get to the hotel to start with all the one way streets thank goodness for a GPS. Parking a the hotel is very tight you have to drive onto a car lift then fo a 8 point turn to get you car in a spot. "Nice hotel - good value and close to most sights"
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in July 2010. Arrived early in the morning but thankfully were allowed to check in. A good start! Reception staff were very professional and spoke reasonable English so had no need to revert to my less than perfect Spanish! The standard twin room we had booked was rather dark as it overlooked an internal courtyard […] and there was little natural light but as we spent very little time in the room this was not important. Standards of cleanliness were excellent and the efficient air conditioning was very welcome with outside temperatures topping 40C. Beds were comfortable - the only english language channel on the TV was Euro Sport but we hadn't come to Seville to watch TV so it wasn't a problem. Didn't use the breakfast or dinner options as they were overpriced and you could get a much better deal at the local cafes / restaurants. The location is a good 10 - 15 mins walk away from the Cathedral / Alcazar but very close to the main shopping area of Calles Sierpes / Tetuan. The local buses stop within 2 mins walk of the hotel.... just need to study the route maps a little to plan your journeys. Overall a very good hotel in a quiet location but convenient for the city centre and main tourist attractions. Would definitely use again. Lesa meira
"Comfortable hotel with convenient parking"
We traveled by car so finding a hotel with parking was an important feature. This hotel has private parking reasonably priced, and relatively easy access from Paseo de Colón Boulevard. It is a 10 minute walk from the Cathedral through a pleasant route. Personnel are friendly and competent. WiFi access only worked in the Lobby area. I would stay here […] again. Lesa meira
"great hotel that makes sure you enjoy Sevilla"
we feared the worst when we read it was difficult to find this hotel. well, it's not really difficult. GPS will get you there. but also, the signs are good once you are in the neighbourhood. i highly recommend this hotel. the environment is great. if you don't mind walking 3 blocks, you have great dinner places near the Hercules Columns, or just walk […] toward the centre through very cosy streets (narrow and pedestrian straight to the cathedral - 10 minutes walk). the hotel is comfortable and well presented, with nice courtyards to hang out with friends and drink some wine. friendly staff... i'll go there next time I am in Sevilla. Maybe 2 ladies at front desk were having a bad day, since they were not really helpful. other staff very nice. Good that you can use a small laptop to make reservation on line and check "ash" situation. The person at the restaurant was very nice, he kindly explained the way that Jerez is processed. "Try and find this hotel without a guide."
Okay we were warned that it would be difficult to find this hotel. We spent 2 hours trying to find it from the maps provided by the hotel. Finally, I hired a taxi to lead us to the hotel. It was five Euros well spent. The taxi drivers are more than honest. In fact the Spanish people as a whole are honorable and helpful. The best thing about the hotel […] was the breakfast. It was better than the hotel on the Costa Del Sol where we were staying. Go for rooms in the newer section, at least you will have a window to the outside world. Not a usual 4* rated hotel. i would have expected a 3* which would then match expectations.
"Gem of a hotel in good location although hard to find at first"
A lovely little hotel in traditional spanish style building recently renovated/decorated. Friendly and helpful staff and comfortable rooms. Hotel restaurant/bar is excellent with very helpful staff and good value for money. Breakfast in hotel was also very good.

This hotel is situated centrally within five to ten minutes' walk of the cathedral, Giralda and alcázar. It comprises three attractive buildings joined together. Our room was spacious and well-furnished with comfortable beds and the bathroom had everything you could want including a bidet and hairdryer. There is a pleasant courtyard garden in the middle […] of the complex. Limited, cramped underground parking is available for drivers with nerves of steel. The staff, however, guide you in and out efficiently. Didn't try the breakfasts. The promise of free 24-hour tea and coffee is barely honoured; there's a machine which isn't always accessible. Book parking at the hotel if you can. Parking at the city's car parks will cost you at least €24 a day while the hotel charges €16. Lesa meira
"Central hotel if you can find it!"
Central hotel, but beware that it is located in the medieval quarter of Seville which is a warren of narrow streets and small plazas. My wife and I got hopelessly lost twice trying to find our way back to the hotel! Hotel itself is old, room is small for a 4*, but it is clean and well maintained. "Outstanding Hotel for the money"
The room was spacious, bathroom was big and clean. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating, cordial and very helpful to us (told us to get advance tickets to L Alhambra as it sells out quickly). This was a great room for the price, just a little walk from the Cathedral and Real Alcazares. My only complaint would be the floor in the bedroom needed […] to be swept. "Good hotel - would go back again"
Hotel is down a small side street about a ten minutes walk to the Cathedral area. Looks basic from outside but very pleasantly surprised inside. Typical andalucian courtyard with rooms around. Our room was very nice, spotlessly clean. Staff helpful and restaurant good. Would recommend and stay again.
"Disappointing Stay"
Checked in to find a very small stuffy room; I've stayed in many European hotels and know what to expect. This didn't measure up. We were moved to another room in a hallway being painted; the odor of the paint or some sort of solvent was intolerable. We moved to a third room, it was better but certainly not special. Decided to check out the next morning. […] Did check out, but the hotel does not give a refund so we paid for 2 unused nights. Not a pleasant experience at this hotel, the rest of Spain was terrific. "A Quick break"
This hotel is very central. My room was plesant- I was only staying for a night and needed somewhere to relax. Close to everything. I would recommend this hotel and stay again.

It is little hotel in a small corner street. The room was tiny, the staff was not friendly, knowledgeable or helpful. We had booked a triple room and were very crammed with one double bed and an extremely uncomfortable and tiny sofa bed. Not great value for money. The upside about this hotel is its location. "bof... déçue par le service"
je m'attendais a mieux... le service n'est pas a la hauteur... longue attente pour ensuite etre expediée..., bruit le matin à 7h30 par le personnel ( chambre au rez de chaussée à déconseiller !) j'ai vu quantité d'autres hotels qui m'ont eu l'air mieux... je n'y retournerais pas.

"Charmigt hotell i perfekt läge"
Hotel Cervantes ligger på en lugn liten gata med gångavstånd till allt. Ett fint och charmigt hotell, trevlig personal, bra service och vi rekommenderar det verkligen.
"Hôtel Cervantes à Seville : proche du centre"
Très correct dans l'ensemble. Cependant, problèmes d'accès et de stationnement pour une voiture personnelle. En saison hivernale (février), avec un froid peut-être inhabituel, le système de chauffage par carte, laissée en place par le client, mais enlevée par le personnel de nettoyage, est inopérant. La chambre a à peine le temps de se réchauffer pendant […] la nuit qu'on la quitte pour visiter la ville. Ce problème de chauffage insuffisant s'est retrouvé dans les salles de restaurant, soir et matin ( un seul radiateur d'appoint, avec des clients en polaire et un personnel frigorifié). Il faut espérer qu'en été la climatisation est plus efficace. Sinon le personnel est efficace, charmant. L'hôtel est très beau, le centre touristique tout proche. Lesa meira
