Pros - Restaurant close by, bar in the hotel, parking, clean, 95 is right there, nice room. Cons - Beds were a bit uncomfy.

This was my 2nd stay at this location and once again I was very happy with my stay. I was not that far from my friends house and close to the main road which has almost everything you can think of. All services were up to the Marriott corporate standard. When ever anyone asks me to recommend a hotel to them I always recommend the Marriott.

The hotel was convenient to a conference I was attending. On first glance the room looked well kept and well cleaned- until I noticed a dirty sock on the floor. This is gross. Also, the king mattress was very lumpy. Other than these two things, the room was fine.

The hotel was great and checkin was a breeze. The hotel is in a corporate area which makes the area very quiet at night. There was an Outback Steakhouse out front. "Nice Hotel"
Thr Courtyard was definitely a good find on Hotels.com. Last minute, convenient locational to work area, comfortable, clean, friendly staff, nice decor, strong WiFi coverage. Hotel was okay for the price. We had to switch rooms when we got there because there was mold on the bathroom ceiling; and they were able to switch us to a comparable room without incident. Otherwise, the rooms and hotel were cleaned and staff was very helpful. Pool treatments need to be done when pool is closed and not during the day or hours when […] the pool is to be opened. "No a/c working on the hottest day of the year"
I went to this hotel because of a scrapbooking convention And the a/c didn't work. It was 86 degrees in the room. Hotel did nothing to fix it and didn't even bring in fans
"Single WORST Hotel experience in lifetime....."
Everything about this place came straight out of a business traveler's horror story....from having to walk through smoke cloud to get in (desk clerk was on smoke break out front..) to not having my room type available, then giving me handicapped room on first floor (my profile practically indicates that this is the only room I'll NEVER accept, but arrival […] @ 1:30am leaves little choice) that was dirty, had cracked tiles in bathroom, no hangars in closet, no iron in closet, and a host of non-working items in the room. I'm unclear as to whether they're just a bad hotel, or whether they're specifically abusive to the handicapped (I'm not disabled, but if I was, this would have been even WORSE!). I would never stay here again, and I won't stay at Marriott properties (any of them) going forward because of this experience!! Lesa meira

"Very Pleased"
I stayed at this hotel while attending a conference at Yale in New Haven. The hotel was a short 10-15 minute drive from the Yale University campus. It is right off of the highway and very easy to find. Both check-in and check-out were quick and convenient. The complimentary wireless internet was also an asset. The room was very clean and comfortable […] and included a fridge and a microwave. There is no room service for food, but there is a small restaurant downstairs and the local Chinese and Italian restaurants will deliver to your hotel room door. "adequate services"
I had a conference at the Yale West Campus , so the location was great. Parking was easy and having an Outback resturarant next door worked out well. The room was adequate- sofa was worn. Controlling the room temp was difficult- couldn't see to read the control knobs that were in a part of the room that the light didn't reach. "The Courtyard Marriott New Haven-Orange in CT"
We had a very nice stay. Location is great close to shopping and highway. The room was neat and comfortable, we needed to adjust heat, there's no wall thermostat just push button control on in wall AC/heater. I would and will use this hotel again.
"Up to Courtyard's reasonably high standards..."
...but one day out of five the housekeeping staff ignored my room. When I got back to the hotel that evening, the housekeepers had all gone home, but the front desk offered me a complimentary bottle of soda as a token apology. I think they could have done better than that. Also be warned that there is a construction site on the north side of the hotel […] (as of 12/2010). Room was clean, but room layout was terrible - especially if you want to take time to rest and relax. Watching TV is out of the question since TV is set up at the head of the bed in all king rooms. If you cannot lay on your side to watch - you will not be able to view.

"cleaningproblem"
Sorry, the room had not been cleaned satisfactory. Hair in sink and tub. the head of the bed matress was not cleaned and thre was hair in that area. my wife was very upset, since it was 10 pm I decided not to make an issue of the condition.....

The staff is very pleasant and the room was more than adequate. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family. The construction next door was a little loud for a weekend, but I was already up so it was not too much of a problem.

"Impeccable service, very comfortable room"
This was one of the best hotel experiences I've had in a while. The service was outstanding, the room was clean and spacious and the bed was the most comfortable I've slept in--better than my own bed at home! The hotel is conveniently located along I95 and there are dozens of shops (including a huge mall with all the big name stores) and restaurants […] within short range. We were there to drop off our daughter at college so it helped that Costco, Walmart, Target and BB&B were all within 2 miles and Ikea was only 5 miles away.
