Flott hótel í gömlu húsi en full hljóðbært á milli herbergja. Var með herbergi út að götu og það er slatta traffík þarna hjá allan sólarhringinn. Einnig fór gesturinn í herberginu fyrir ofan okkur að færa til hús gögn kl. 5 um morguninn.

Hótelið er í góðu umhverfi og starfsfólk mjög vinalegt. Rétt handan við hornið eru sporvagnarnir bæði gömlu sem fara upp brekkurnar og í gegnum ítalska og kínahverfið og endar á Market þar sem allar verslanirnar eru. Nýju sporvagnarnir þeir fara meðfram bryggjunum og sjávarsíðunni og hægt er að taka þá eða labba að bryggju 35 að mig minnir þar sem ferjan til Alcatrez er. Eina sem hefði fullkomnað þessa hóteldvöl var ef það hefði verið þráðlaust net upp í herberginu. En það er eingöngu í andyrinu. Mun klárlega gista aftur á þessu hóteli í framtíðinni þegar farið verður aftur til San Francisco

Við vorum að leita að hóteli miðsvæðis í San Francisco og sem væri á hagstæðu verði, hreinlegt. Hótel Diva uppfyllti þessar kröfur auk þess að vera með mjög góða og persónulega þjónustu.

Hotel is currently under renovation. It seems like the guest rooms have been completed (and are very nice) but the common areas are still under construction. Very comfortable and clean. The manager was very friendly and helpful in sightseeing suggestions. Location is excellent for all San Francisco attractions. Would definitely stay there again.
"Nice Stay"
We had a nice stay while doing business in the area. The staff was helpful and accomodating. The morning breakfast had eggs, waffles and the works. We were concerned about the area being from out-of-town but found it to be very nice. Convenient to two BART stations. The hotel was under construction but there was no disturbance during our stay.
I would have loved to have been there when the construction was done for the breakfast area (I believe).
"Decent stay but noisy"
Everything about the hotel was positive except for the traffic and train that seemed to carry on most of the night. If it doesn't bother you, then this is equal to the better hotels around the area. If you're a light sleeper, think twice.

Hotel was located perfectly for where we needed to be. right on El Camino, close enough to Caltrain stations and freeway on ramps without being too close. Conveniently located accross the street from McDonald's and next door to taco bell for those late night cravings. Hotel itself was clean and quiet and the staff was friendly.

Service from front desk was kind of poor. Breakfast nice, room ok, noise level ok, gym was a plus. all in all, not fancy but it worth the money.

"Perfect hotel"
I am so glad we chose this hotel. We we're taking a trip to San Fransisco and it was only 20 min from down town. It exceeded my expetations from the continental breakfast to the location. Would stay again!!!

Good for business travel but not great for families. The floors were filthy and the tv was very old.
Overall, hotel room/condition was ok. Poor air conditioning - room temperature was uncomfortable. Couldn't open window due to noisy train behind hotel. Surrounding neighborhood not great.

We enjoyed our stay. Very clean, friendly staff and most importantly they didn't nickel and dime you for extras.......normally the case these days especially in the Bay area. "Country Inns & Suites San Carlos CA"
Excellent desk service - had to ask for a rollaway bed after 11:00 PM and it appeared in minutes. Rooms were clean and entirely satisfactory, although smaller than I've seen at other Country Inns & Suites. Pleasant interior courtyard & excellent breakfast.

"San Carlos' best choice"
We only stayed one night but the breakfast and the choc chips cookies will definitely bring me back to the Country Inn and Suites.

Newer hotel with a nice interior. They had fresh out of the oven chocolate chip cookies when I checked in. The breakfast while not spectacular was better than most in the area for this price range. "Okay"
For the price I paid I expected a lot more. We stayed in the whirlpool suite. It was an over sized bathtub with jets/shower combination. The jets were very hard to turn on and off. The room was clean. We stayed on the ground floor. The room had an older TV. I would stay again as long as I got a cheaper rate.
"they went the extra mile"
I was not expecting it but this was the single best hotel stay I have had in many years. The staff was attentive, helpful, friendly and eager to do anything they could to make my stay as great as possible. They deserve a real pat on the back for the extra effort.

We were most pleasantly surprised at this hotel. The desk person was pleasant and very accomodating. Our room was large, clean and well equipped and everything worked. One thing to note was that the bath towels were a bit skimpy although sufficient for our needs. The bed was a nice king size and quite comfortable. "Great beds but too much perfume!"
Wonderful comfortable beds but the room deorderizer perfume was way too strong. I tried opening the window to air the place out for a while but it only helped when the window was open, which caused lot of traffic noise from the street. Surprisingly, if the window was closed you could not hear the traffic or the train. Might be good if you stayed for […] several nights and asked them not to use the sweet smelling spray! Could not believe they don't provide a final bill for expenses. First time I have ever had to argue with a hotel to get a final bill.

"San Carlos Country Inn - Decent Value and Comfort"
The Country Inn & Suites in San Carlos is very convenient to Redwood City businesses, such as Oracle. The hotel is surprisingly quiet, given its proximity to the CalTrain tracks and El Camino (it's right between both). The rooms are clean and reasonably comfortable (lots of pillow choices in the king rooms). The daily breakfast is also nice for a hotel […] of this price range. My biggest negative about the hotel is the scented deodorizer that they use when cleaning the rooms. The perfuming is so intense that I typically had the window to my room open all day just to get it toned down a bit. The hotel is close to some very good restaurants along Laurel Street in San Carlos. I recommend taking a stroll down that street (about three or four blocks from the hotel, west of El Camino) to check out the menus of the various restaurants to find one to your liking. "Was ok"
The desk personnel spent alot of time sitting at the computer in the dining area which was supposed to be for the customers. They were friendly. I was not very impressed with the hotel, but it was convenient to my sister's house, so if we're out there again we would stay there.
