Rúmgott herbergi með gott rúm, ísskáp, sjónvarp og ágætis baðherbergi. Reyndar vantar sjampó og hárþurrku en hins vegar er straujárn, kaffivél og örbylgjuofn. Skrifborð, stóll og hægindastóll. Göngufæri í matvöruverslanir, veitingastaði (þ.m.t. morgunverðarstaði) og að miðbæ Alexandriu. Einnig er stutt labb í metró og þaðan aðeins nokkrar stöðvar að miðbæ Washington. Þrátt fyrir einfalda og e.t.v. svolítið lúna móttöku þá voru þeir í afgreiðslunni einstaklega hjálplegir og liðlegir. Klakavél í móttöku.
Mögulegt er að gjalds verði krafist fyrir aukagesti. Slíkt fer eftir stefnu hvers hótels fyrir sig.

"Friendly and comfy"
I had a great experience at this hotel. The manager was so personable and helpful. I have to admit the age of the hotel was evident in the furniture in my room (ie the couch) but all I used it for was luggage storage so that did not matter to me. The bed was very comfy. The one REAL draw back for me was how far it was from ANY mass transit and I was […] without a vehicle so I had to use cabs for all my wanderings. I went back to this property because the staff are friendly, efficient, courteous, and helpful. The property is well-maintained. They served an EXCELLENT complimentary breakfast with staff to keep it clean and well stocked. I was addressed by my name when I arrived by the Manager Carl. He is always smiling and professional. "Very Nicely Appointed Rooms close to the Metro"
I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the room at this hotel. There was a sleeper sofa, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, all of the nice appointments of rooms that cost much more. Also the FREE breakfast was very nice. There were things like link sausages, omelets, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, etc. that you […] don't normally see in the free breakfast fare. I definitely plan to stay here again when the need arises. "Smoker's Haven"
If you're a smoker, then this is the place for you! Otherwise, stay away. My first room smelled like a pool hall. The floor that I eventually stayed on had more smoking rooms than non-smoking rooms (I think). So my non-smoking room was permeated with smoke!
"Clean, well managed, great value"
Staff managing the facility goes above and beyond to make sure that the stay is up to expectation. Very clean location. Rooms were quite clean and well maintained as well. Location is a good alternative to the more expensive National Harbor hotels. If I have to request a change, that would be perhaps a bit more comfortable beds/ mattresses. Pleasantly surprised value for this area of DC. It was as nice as any of the better Holiday Inn Expresses I've stayed with around the country. Slept great, bed was awesome!!!

Stayed for multiple days for a business conference. PROS: excellent value compared to expensive in-town hotels; easy access to Metro (Branch Ave. Station -- Green Line); can transit from airport to Hotel on Metro; quiet neighborhood; shuttle will drive you to the Metro Station or other close locations. "Holiday Inn Camp Springs, MD"
The hotel staff are very nice, and the hotel was convenient to my work at Andrews Air Force Base. But compared to other Holiday Inn Express stays, it was not the best. There were not enough plugs on the desk to plug in a computer and printer at the same time. The air conditioning was not working in the hallways most of the 6 days I was there. I was […] warned by locals that the neighborhood was not safe and I should not go walking on my own. Stay was ok ...Don't make the mistake of parking on the side or behind the building ! Two vehicles got the wheels stolen from them !!!!!
"Clean hotel, friendly staff"
The hotel was clean and safe and the staff was friendly. However, the restaurants were not within walking distance; so, I had to drive about 5 minutes to get to a fast food place. The surrounding area reminded me of an office park. I recommend this hotel for short business trips, not family trips.

"Not a happy traveler"
I requested a non smoking room, but the room smelled of smoke. The hotel staff said that all rooms are non smoking, however it was evident that wasn't the case of the room I was in. I guess my room was next to the staff lounge, because I was awakened the next morning by lots of loud chatter, laughter and yelling. I notified the staff of the smoke aroma […] in the room. We only had to stay in this hotel for one night and for the price, it was good enough. The night before, we stayed at the Marriott and it was a lot better than Holiday Inn and $9 less. PROS: The room and bathroom were clean. The breakfast was complete, and dining area clean. Front desk were friendly and helpful. CONS: The coffee maker in the room […] was dirty so we didn't use it. "Breakfast"
Free Breakfast plays a part in the booking of a hotel for me. I didn't like the fact that the guy restocking the breakfast food was also emptying the trash. He was working very hard to please, though. So much so that I tipped him. Even though I booked and paid in full thru hotels.com, the hotel charged us again for the full stay. "Suited my purposes reasonably well"
My stay was pretty reasonable. I was close to where I wanted to go (Census), and my only issues were the lack of a dinner-serving on-site restaurant (which I should have realized during my search since it was an Express location) and of truly cold water coming out of my sink, but everything worked out! Overall, it was a good stay!
