The Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest is located by the River Danube in Budapest, Hungary. It's less than a kilometre to well-known sights like St Stephen's Basilica and the Opera House.
Hotel Features.
Set among Budapest's tree-lined boulevards, the Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest has a curved steel facade set atop square stone columns. The marble lobby is dotted with leather armchairs and sofas, and features live music in the evenings. Onsite shops sell designer clothes and jewelry, as well as souvenirs. The hotel's Bistro Jardin serves Hungarian specialties and has a winter garden. The circular Ristorante Giardino serves Italian cuisine in a dining room lit by an Art Deco light. The Nobu Restaurant serves innovative Japanese cuisine. 2 outdoor terraces are open during the warmer months.
A full range of massage treatments are available in the Kempinski Spa. It has 3 saunas, a steam bath, ice well, and solarium. The Asian-inspired spa also has an indoor pool, fitness centre, and organic juice bar.

The Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest's 359 climate-controlled guestrooms are decorated in a contemporary style, with rich colour-coordinated fabrics. Rooms feature pale wood, lacquer bedheads, and gold or turquoise walls. They offer complimentary wireless Internet access and wired Internet access for a surcharge. Rooms also include satellite television, fax machines, minibars, and safes. Bathrooms are clad in marble and inlaid with mother-of-pearl chips.

Hótelið er frábærlega staðsett í hjarta miðbæjarins og stendur við göngugötu þar sem mannlífið iðar, með verslunum og veitingastöðum. Þrátt fyrir það eru herbergin þannig staðsett að þegar inn á þau er komið heyrist lítill sem enginn hávaði frá götu. Herbergið var með skandinavísku yfirbragði, smekklegt, þægilegt og þrifalegt. Mikill kostur var að hafa kælingu í herberginu enda heitt í veðri (35-37°C). Þá var minibar á herberginu og ólíkt því sem maður á oft að venjast þá var verð á því sem þar var að finna mjög hófstillt. Þjónustan var mjög fín og starfsfólkið bæði hjálplegt og elskulegt. Aðstoðaði m.a. við að panta "Airport Shuttle Bus", benti á spennandi staði (og veitingastaði) og aðstoðaði við að finna þessa staði á korti. Það starfsfólk sem ég átti samskipti við talaði allt ágæta ensku, sem er ekki sjálfgefið í Búdapest (og enn síður þegar komið er út fyrir borgina). Get varla nefnt neitt neikvætt um þetta hótel en ef ég rembist við að reyna að tiltaka eitthvað þá hefði gjarnan mátt vera boðið upp á fleiri erlendar sjónvarpsstöðvar (var einungis BBC) ekki síst þar sem allt sjónvarpsefni í Ungverjalandi er talsett og því hefur maður ekki hugmynd um hvað verið er að tala um. Jafnframt hefði morgunmaturinn, sem var innifalinn, mátt vera meira spennandi. Brauð og þess háttar var frekar þurrt og eins og hálfstaðið en þessa reynslu hef ég reyndar frá mörgum öðrum hótelum í Evrópu og get því vart sagt að þetta sé stór mínus fyrir Promenade hótelið sérstaklega. Heilt yfir - mæli eindregið með hótelinu - frábærlega staðsett og "worth every penny". :-)

Located on the second floor, the Asian-style Kempinski SPA is appointed with natural materials, including original, handcrafted furniture from Indonesia and China. Facilities include an indoor pool, fitness center, a traditional Finnish sauna, steam bath, solarium, and heated Kneipp-bench.
Signature treatments include Lava Stone, using warm basalt and cool marble stones, and Pantai Luar, combining heat, massage, and fragrant botanicals. Aromatherapy combines with integrated audio and lighting systems to provide a total sensory experience.
Restaurant Giardino - Lit by a massive central Art Deco light fitting, the circular Restaurant Giardino is surrounded by windows. Italian dinners are served to guests seated on wicker furniture. In summer, an outdoor terrace hosts barbecues.
Nobu Restaurant & Lounge Bar - Innovative Japanese cuisine and sushi includes signature dishes like the Alaskan Black Cod with Miso and Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapenos. Open daily from noon until late. Reservations are recommended.
Lobby Lounge - Italian frescoes decorate the casual lobby lounge, strewn with sofas, where cakes and light meals are served all day.
Kempinski Terrace and Fashion Lounge - The open-air restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, light snacks, and drinks under large umbrellas and is located on Fashion Street. Open spring through autumn, weather permitting.

"Regular Visitor"
I stay at the Kempinski at least once a month for a few nights at a time. I am always very satisfied and hence why I return. Their loyalty program has kicked in for me and I my room was upgraded which was a pleasant and much appreciated surprise. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, if you are in Budapest you should stay here.

"Just by chance"
When I booked The Kenpinski I had no idea how wonderful the experience would be. The location was central to everything and the staff went out of their to accommodate our every wish and need. We loved Budapest and everything about The Kempinski.

Just steps from the main Metro terminal, at the head of Budapest's great shopping street, and within walking distance of many of Budapest's historic sites (and an easy metro ride to many others), the Kempinski is an ideal location to access all of Budapest. It is elegant, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. The staff exemplify the Hungarian warmth, charm […] and helpfulness. The only negative is that smoking - even cigar smoking - is allowed in the lobby and part of the restaurant. Not a big problem...many fantastic restaurants are steps away, including Gerbaud, one of Europe's best coffee and pastry emporiums. Lesa meira

Absolute a fantastic hotel, right in the center of Budapest.
The Wifi connection is appaling..... The staff was not helpful and could not deal with the Wifi issues

A clean and comfortable hotel with very helpful staff, always smiling and cheerful. Rooms were a good size and well maintained. Good location, within easy distance of all major sights. Wide variety of choice at breakfast.

"Dissapointed with this Kempinski Hotel"
I stayed at the Kempinski in Bratislava and the High Tatras in Slovakia a few days prior to my stay in Budapest. The Corvinus did not measure up to the standard I had come to expect with a Kempinski Hotel. The fitness center and spa are nothing special, but the biggest dissapointment was how they handle the segregation of non-smoking and smoking areas […] in the lounge. Even though tables are posted as non-smoking, they allow "special guests" to smoke. When I confronted the manager about a smoker in the non-smoking section, I was told the he was a more important guest than I, and they would not ask him to stop smoking. It seems they have a double standard for their guests. If you want to be treated fairly, I suggest you stay at another hotel in Budapest. Lesa meira

"Fabulous location!"
The location of this hotel is perfect. It's close to the pedestrian streets, close to the river front and convenient for the hop on hop off bus tours. The room was beautiful and the front desk staff and concierge were very helpful. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

the hotel is situated very central - close to the city center and public transport. Very friendly staff, rooms clean and comfortable - the hotel has a good atmosphere .The only thing the cleaning lady did not come until about 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

The quality of the hotel is obvious but the friendliness and flexibility of the staff is the real bonus of this wonderful hotel. They really go out of their way to go the extra mile for their guests - brilliant. The hotel is also brilliantly located for getting around - especially the Pest side - with good walking access nowhere being too far and the […] main metro station linking all 3 lines just outside the main entrance. The breakfasts were expensive but on balance so good that they were worth it. "Hotel Corvinus in Budapest"
I stopped at this hotel on a motorcycle tour of Eastern Europe. Despite the unorthodoxy method of arrival, I was immediately greeted by the hotel staff. Real interest was shown in providing a safe place to store my bike (in the garage below the hotel). I stayed two nights, and had a great time. The concierge arranged for an amazing "behind-the-scenes" […] tour of Budapest with "Budapest Sights", which was AMAZING! I then had a 1.5 hour Thai Massage at the spa. It did wonders to relieve the stress I had accumulated traveling and riding a motorcycle for so long. Finally, the morning buffet is great. It has an wide selection of baked goods, cold cuts, and fresh produce. The omelet I had there ranks among the best I've EVER had. I would STRONGLY recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Budapest. It is very convenient to all the major sights, and has so much to offer. A++ Lesa meira

This is just a very nice hotel well run and situated. It's just around the corner from the main tourist square and not far from the Chain Bridge. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was very nicely appointed except a little on the small side and did not a flat screen TV. To be fair , we were initially given a larger room but preferred a smaller room […] overlooking the park. Bathroom was really nice, room was very clean. It felt like an all around very nice hotel. This hotel was beautiful and located in a perfect spot for walking to shop, restaurants, and historical locations on the Pest side. Staff was extremely helpful. While it is an expensive hotel, I got a great deal from hotels.com. A perfect ending to our week long Danube River cruise. Hope to return someday.

The hotel was gorgeous, staff very friendly and all english speaking. Beautifully kept and very impressive when you first walk in. Didnt get to use the amenities although you have full access to the pool, steam room and the sauna but we where out in the city all day every day and never got round to it. The room was fantasic, no complaints there at all. […] Cleaning staff did turn up at 730am on the Friday morning that we were there but that was our fault too as we didnt put the do not disturb sign on the door! Still that was super early for housekeeping. Didnt make that mistake again. Very convenient location, found it really easy to get our bearings from where we were located. The airport shuttle bus stops right at the end of the street and you have like a 30 second walk to the hotel. Your right next to Andrassy Avenue and the sighseeng bus stops are everywhere, although dont expect them to be bang on time.
