The hotel is nice and close to airport which I need. Very nice that they have a room that you can bring your pet but the room was filthy, Mold in window wells and around bathtub. Dirt behind bed and all around baseboards.I suggest that a good linoleum in room where pets are aloud instead of carpets as the carpet was filthy.

The very load heater woke me repeatedly as it cycled on and off. I suppose this might not be an issue in warmer weather. My 7:00 wake-up call never came. "Fortunately", as I had given up trying to sleep because of the heater noise, I did not need it. The room had a strong smell of "odor eliminator."

The hotel was a good value. We needed to be at the airport at 4:30 am and this hotel was only 5 minutes from the airport...perfect for early morning flights or late arrivals. Wake up calls were perfect.

We only stayed one night but it was very nice. The room was clean and the staff friendly. We were allowed to have our little dog with us which was a big plus.

non smoking room have a smoking smell. Bathroom is no hair conditioner . Room rate is good and have a free parking and breakfast. Breakfast is acceptable. location is convenience to Bentwood community center.

Very basic and behind the times. Checking in, the receptionist wasn't impressed with NOT booking through them instead and hinted I could had done better if I had. I don't buy it. The room had an alright bed, small TV and WiFi. The facility does not offer a business centre or courtesy computers.

Plain, but good enough to sleep. Surroundings are not very attractive but across the highway is a White Spot which can provide drinks and a good meal. Parking is plenty and free; also free Hi-Fi and a free continental breakfast. We did not use the fridge, the microwave, or the safe which were in the room. Stayed 2 days at the Super 8, Victoria Airport. The only 2 positives about this stay were the location of the hotel and the helpfulness/friendliness of the staff. The hotel is in desperate need of some upgrading, renovations, and cleaning. In my room the carpet and bedspread were filthy. The TV screen and windows were also very dirty. There were no […] screens on the window, the air-conditioning worked but was very noisy and the bathroom fan was so rattly that I could not have it on at all. Because of the general poor condition of the hotel I was leery about cleanliness of the sheets, etc. but upon checking, they were fine. I would not recommend this hotel for the price I paid. The motel is conveniently located, and the room was fairly clean. The internet access was good, however, it took me a while to reset my internet explorer not to go to that webpage to their local internet provider. The room did not have mini-refrigerator as advertized. It didn't have microwave either. When we asked, the lady at the reception desk responded […] not very friendly telling us that not all the rooms have refrigerator and microwave, and unfortunately they are fully booked and it is nothing she can do about it. I'm not sure about the "fully booked part" but I did't like how she approached the issue. I will definetely find a different one next time I'm around... This is a budget hotel, so expectations were modest. But the hotel failed to meet them. The room had not been fully cleaned, and the "breakfast" was unusually meager. Bigger problem, however, was that management was gruff, impolite and unaccommodating. This place is on a major bicycling route, but the hotel not only failed to offer a secure place to […] keep bikes (they are not permitted in rooms, for no obvious reason), but treated a request for information on this with hostility. And this is the first hotel I've ever been to that did not provide a place to secure bags while waiting for the room to be "ready". I noticed other guests also being rebuffed by the manager with modest and normal requests. Cyclists beware - you are not welcome here. There are two other hotels at this crossroads, and I recommend trying one of them. That aside, this is not a good value for the money. Lesa meira

We were travelling with children and they put up us in smoking rooms with a stink of tobacco from every thing. We had called in right after we made the online reservation that we are travelling with children and the two rooms we booked be together and with microwave as we had small children with us. They forgot to allocate our rooms accordingly and […] they were not willing to make any adjustments when we reached. Rooms were not together and were without any microwave or refrigertor. Just as we opened the door...... the stink of tobacco coming from the rooms were aweful. We had to use lots of room freshners to get in and be able to sleep. Very convenient location to airport,ferry service and Sidney area tourist attractions.Breakfast included was just what you needed to set you off for the day.When hairdryer didn't work in our room attendant was very helpful to offer an alternate room for use.Friendly staff.Good value for money, but it is not the Ritz.

The condition of the room was not thoroughly clean, nor well maintained. The shower/tub had a slow drip which had a large discoloration near the drain tub (from mildew perhaps). The room was old and nothing modern. I would not stay here again. For the price, it was okay.

The hotel is loated in a seedy part of town on off the autoroute sandwiched between a gas station and a seedy trailer park. Older motel but clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was juice, tea,coffee, toast muffins and cereal. Just used it for the night but would stay again.

we had two rooms, 4 dbl beds, 8 people, 4 adults. We arrived on bicycles. We were not wearing gold nor did we look glamorous - and wow, were we treated like scum. The two ladies at the desk looked at us as if we were idiots travelling with our four children on bikes. They acted afraid that we would ransack the place, promptly also told us that in no […] way could they help us accommodate our bikes, and that in addition in no way was it possible to get a refund on our hotel room even though expedia promised it to be so (and hadn't even asked for a refund, but the woman was so kind to volunteer that info - make us feel so happy....). Some shabby kind older fellow showed us where we could tie up our bikes in the trash enclosure. Those two ladies do not belong in the hospitality industry. Spider in one bed. Breakfast was pathetic -nothing fresh and no yoghurt. Cheapest possible arrangement so they can have the promo "breakfast". Definitely no waffle maker here I'll tell ya. I was overwhelmed with the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff..from the manager to hlousekeeping, to front desk staff, to maintenance...in my opinion, this is the most hospitable hotel on the entire island. Staff went over and above in assuring that i had all the help I needed. Close to hospital, airport and restaurants. Continental breakfast was minimal. I had a view overlooking a trailer park. Free wireless worked just fine. Staff was friendly and helpful. I'd say it was worth the price. I wasn't expecting a Marriott. They delivered what they promised for a reasonable price.

The hotel needs some updating and not all rooms had coffee maker, fridges and microwaves. The staff did try but it was not quite there.

Room was not clean. There was a piece of clothing behind the tv stand. Along the bed had not been vacuumed. A family member in another room had a microwave, fridge and coffee maker and my room had nothing. There was no screen on the windows. Poorly maintained.

The staff when beyond necessary to help me and I would recommend this hotel if you want friendly and helpful people greeting you on arrival. Usually everyone is tired and just want to get to their rooms quick and with out any hassles. This was the case with me and I appreciate their efficiency.

We were quite skeptical of this hotel based off of reviews but it was the best economical and geographical location for a hotel at that time in our trip. We were pleasantly surprised though. The only problem that we could see but that never posed a problem for us was the proximity of the trailer park next door. The stay was pleasant and comfortable, we spent time touring Victoria and it was nice to come home to quiet surroundings to sleep.

This hotel states that it has a 24-hr desk. This is not true. My plane arrived late and when I got to the hotel, there was a sign in the window that the desk was closed and would open again at 7:00 in the morning. So, at 12:30 in the morning, I had to find a place to stay. I decided not to return to the hotel and was unable to obtain any refund for […] a 4-night booking.
