Room was in horrible condition seriously need to be remodeled I expected at least better than a Red Roof INN for the price! The pictures are nothing like what you actually get! The rooms have THIN walls you hear everything going on outside your room and every time someone walks on the floor above you! Well, from the moment I walked to the front desk I thought it was going to be awful. I usually expect a smiling person on the other side of the desk making eyes contact but it wasn't the case. Overall the hotel stuff wasn't that friendly and the room was absolutely rubbish.. dusty, dirty and smelly! Never again, rather spend more next time.

I just needed a clean comfortable room for 2 days down in South Beach and that's what I got. The TV reception was could've been better, but who's in South Beach to watch TV in their hotel room? The staff was polite and didn't bug me to check out right at 11am. I was left alone and walked out about 30 hr after check out without a peep. The hotel has poor clean service, the bathroom tub with a moled and very dirty had to call for cleaning supplies, door in room had a pad lock with tape around the door, the room also had power cords going in and outside the room... that worse Hotel in history... don't book or stay here sleep on beach 1st

It's ok for someone who want's a hotel only to have a shower, get dressed and sleep. But please, CLEAN THE STICKY, DIRTY AND STINKY CARPETS!!!

The room was clean, ok but in the bathroom, the bathtub was not really clean. Their was some weird (not removable) deposit in the bottom. I took only showers so it was ok but I would not hqve taken a bath. I still recommend this hotel because it is quite cheap compared to the standard in the area. Our stay was not a very good experience. After 5 days, we had to ask to have our linens change. We also had to request wash cloths, hand towels, and plastic cups. We will never stay there again, or will we refer our friends to this sorry place.

Very exspensive so called bar,did not tell us about $150 a night reserve on credit card until check in, after was paid in full. The HORRID smell in lobby and room was to the point of gaging at times and burned nostrals at times very mildewy or moldey smell! Location was great to everything.

Enjoyed my stay at the Beachcomber. Convenient to the beach, shops, restaurants, parking garage right across the street. Cute little boutique hotel. Perfect for what we needed. Clean rooms, nice fluffy white towels, not overly large, but it suited our needs.Would stay there again.

Hotel lloks nice when you enter front desk, everything changes upstairs.Fridge was not working, Internet - very poor signal, breakfast - bagel, old croisants, jelly,creamy cheese, apple, juice and coffee, everything on plastic plates and cups. Don't pick that hotel if your criterion is breakfast, eat sth in loacl place. Great location though.

The hotel staff was accomidating and polite. The romms were average. BUt the location was what made the stay overall very pleasant. Located in the middle of the shopping areas and night clubs. The beach is across the street. I would saty there again.

This is a place to stay on a budget. If you're okay with a dingy place. The up keep of the hotel is sub par. The room was greatly disapointing. The bathroom was gross,I wore flip flops in the shower. Would not return. Only good thing about the hotel was the location .

The bathroom door locked you in and the phone didn't work. There is no elevator to help you get upstairs with your luggage.

The floor seemed dusty and some areas of the room were not absolutely clean. The cleanliness of the sheets and comforter is also suspect. The complimentary breakfast is quite disappointing to say the least.

Cons: 1. It was like pulling teeth to get a smile out of the front desk staff. 2. The carpet in the hallway to my room looked like someone had dragged a bleeding corpse all the way down to the exit at the opposite end. 3. I felt like I couldn't touch ANYthing in the bathroom. 4. smelled like mildew, there was no pool. No elevators or anyone to help bring our bags to our room. I would never stay here again I have stay at better hotels for alot less nor did they care how many people stayed in one room.

The hotel was in a good location to all the events. The room was ok, nothing to write home about but it was ok. The bathroom was nasty. I had to buy my own coment to clean the bathroom before I used it. Next time I will upgrade my hotel. My trip was 4/26-4/29/2012

The hotel is in a great location and the room was small. My only problem was the mattresses, we could feel every spring in them. The mattresses are very old and very uncomfortable and should be replaced. Other than that I had a wonderful time in South Beach.

This hotel is exactly what you pay for. It's cheap but in a great location. I went there with my husband for a long weekend. The rooms are not even close to the pictures! When you enter the lobby is very cute, but the rooms are not. We booked the hotel after seeing pictures on their website and reading some of the good reviews. However, we were disappointed when we got here. The hotel desperately needed renovation. The location is great, thats it. We chose this hotel because the price was great and having never been to Miami, a friend who used live there said it's not the greatest. It's awful! It has this weird musty smell, the housekeeping staff doesn't do anything... no fresh towels, no changed sheets, had to ask them for another roll of toilet paper and clean […] towels. The bathroom is tiny and the shower curtain hadn't been changed in months. There was hair on the floor before we ever used it, things were broken. The room itself looked nothing like the picture and neither did the hotel. The continental breakfast is toast.. and maybe a bagel.. I'm not a high maintenance person, I don't stay at Ritz Carltons, and alot of people have the mentality that it's not important to spend a bit for a hotel since you're not in it much. The site is well located. In just minutes you can walk to Ocean Drive, washington st and lincoln rd. The front desk staff was varied. Some nicer than others. But always answered our questions. First off the hotel has a weird smell. There is NO elevator just alot of stairs to get to the rooms. There was a old smell throughout the hall ways and there was no air condition in the halls, just fans, so it was hot! The rooms are small and its hard to move around, we had 2 standard beds. There is a mini fridge and it was leaning to the side because […] the wood it was on was roting. Small closets, no full mirrors, you have to stand on a chair and look at yourself. The view was of another building where people can see everything you do. The lady at front desk was soooo rude, any guest you have outside of the 2 you book have to have their ids copied and have to let front desk know when leaving so you will not be charged for extra person fee. The contiential breakfast consist of cookies, toast, and mini bagels. A joke! And warm orange and apple juice. There were blood stains on our conforters and we were told that they had been washed and there was nothing that could be done to fix it. I have stayed at 8 hotels in south beach and this one is the worst. The pictures look nice on the internet but it DOES NOT look like that in person. Older hotel. I will NEVER stay again. Lesa meira
