SpringHill Suites Marriott Ft Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port – Dania Beach

I just wanted to say the our stay at the Springhill Suites was fabulous! Beautiful clean pool and hot tub 15 min cab ride to the beach $20 each way. They let us check in at 11am which was excellent because we have a 1 year old and were worried what we would do until 4 pm. I highly reccomend this place to anyone. I will say this the breakfast doesn't […] start until about 6:30 - 7am so we did miss out on that but when we got there at 11 there were still a few things left for the kids to snack on and they had complimentary cold water and lemonade all day ... Also free chocolate chip cookies! After being on a over crowded Disney cruise for 5 days this was a great place to stretch out and relax!!! Lesa meira

Front desk people nice and helpful. Breakfast was decent. Nothing fancy but clean and felt safe. A lot of traffic noise at poolside.

Great location. We had a nice room pool side view. Sated or a couple of days and staff was very friendly. The pool was amazing because the temp was a bit chilly and the pool is heated! The only down side was the breakfast. It was really wasn't good!

Cable service was not good. I was informed that what ever service being used did not allow access to program guide and service kept failing. I was told by reservations that courtesy airport transportation was every hour on the half hour.This was not the case. Having an early departure mean't limited transportation and no continental breakfast as stated. […] Toiletries consisted of one small shampoo and conditioner. The mattress or box spring was defective and not evenly distributed. For spending $189 dollars this was a waste of money and would never recommend it. Lesa meira

The staff was very friendly and helpful.The hotel is within walking distance to stores and restuarants.The only downside of the hotel is the pool area....it is small and congested.A definate plus is the hotel is very generous with providing bottled water to its guests! The hotel is fine, clean and comfortable. The only suggestion I'll make is to add a counter or vanity inside the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was okay, they provide coffee, tea and juices all day. I coordinated this trip for a group of 18 cruisers and I recommended all to book the pre cruise accommodation at Springhills. When we arrived the day before […] cruise, the other members already got their rooms and able to settle in. I had to wait hours for my room, so I was disappointed since I coordinated everything and booked my room months in advance. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to shopping plaza and food chains. The shuttle service was great and the operator Chris (kudos to him) provided us great transportation service to the Aventura Mall (Cheesecake Factory), we were dropped off and picked up at a very reasonable price (cheaper than a cab). Good place to stay the night before the cruise. The airport shuttle was convenient and also the free shuttle to the cruise port. Also convenient was the mall across the street, we were able to walk there before we left for our cruise and pick up some last minute items. Breakfast buffet was good also.

The front desk service was the worst I've seen for a Marriott Hotel. If you can, avoid this hotel.

The front desk staff and other members of staff were extremely friendly and helpful and always greeted you with a smile. The included full breakfast was super and coffee in the lobby all day and the afternoon fresh hot cookies were quite commendable. Springhill Suites was home away from home - the rooms are large and very comfortable with microwave, […] small fridge and coffee maker. Great location - lots of shopping and some restaurants nearby. The location was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable, and staff was very heaplfull. Looking forwad to staying there again int he very near future. I escpecially liked the layout of the room. I have a 1yr old, and it was pleanty of room for him to play, and enjoy himself. The breaskfast was exceptional.

The staff was friendly, but the entire stay there were issues. Our card got deactivated every time we opened our room door so we had to keep getting it re activated. The last night of our stay the door wouldn't open at all. Maintenance took about 30 mins to open the door and we only stepped out the room to do laundry. The 3rd night of our stay the fire […] alarm went off at 5am and the hotel had to evacuate for about an hour and once we went back into the room and went to sleep...it went off again. That same day we came back to our room after being out all day only to find that our room had not been cleaned. I even talked to a staff member before we left for the day because we slept in late due to us being up at 5am from the alarm and asked her to make sure our room got cleaned because I was pretty sure they had passed our room already for cleaning but it still didn't get cleaned. :( Lesa meira

Great hotel for a quick overnight before airport- very convenient and the breakfast was pretty good for a free breakfast. I would definitely stay there again when I have an am flight out of FLL!

My experience at this hotel was a very pleasant one. This is my second time visiting and it was just as good as the first. The hotel staff was very pleasant and accommodated my needs. The rooms are comfortable and are very clean. I would definitely go back again.

We stayed here for 2 nights before returning home after a stay in the Caribbean. The location was very convenient to the Ft. Lauderdale Airport and I-95. Staff was excellent. Gave us free water bottles and suggestions on best beach and entertainment spots. Free breakfast was a great bonus.

This place is perfect for a in between vacation stay. We had an early flight out and stayed here the night before. We were welcomed with cookies and lollypops. FREE parking up to 14 days and FREE shuttle bus to airport. We didn't wait at all for the return pick-up infact the driver waited on us. I will stay here again.

The first time I stayed at a spring hill suites hotel was in Miami near the Jackson memorial hospital. It was in much better condition compared to this one in dania beach. This one was poorly located in terms of accessing it. The neighborhood felt intimidating and the entrance was quite shabby.

I was pleased and thought this hotel was a good value for the money. Near to the airport and cruiseport. Shops and simple food options are within walking distance. If inclined to shop, I recommend the 10-15 drive to Sawgrass Mills Mall!

The hotel is very well located close to the main highways and across from a strip mall that has Kmart, Ross and even a Home Depot. The hotel is clean and well kept. The breakfast buffet had a good food option but the room service was below average, there were 3 of us in the room and they did forget to restock the coffee or the toiletries 4 of the 6 […] days we were there. Front Desk Staff was very pleasant. The hotel as a whole had a slight odor, maybe it is just old or needs a good freshening ver all. The carpet in the hallways is thick and nice to walk on however very difficult to roll your own luggage over to the rooms. I was never offered assistance by any bellboys, when I drove up or when I checked in. Free parking […] was nice as I did have a rental car. Free internet worked well. Unfortunately I didn't have a chance to use the free full breakfast, but on my way out noticed they were getting it ready. Bed was comfortable enough, however doesn't really have any duvet or spread. I had to use a spare blanket. Coffee maker didn't work right. Overall for the price I got on line special, the suite was a nice big area to stay in and for that price I would book it again. Location was very convenient. I think I just expected "more" from a suite Hotel. But you delivered what you promised. Lesa meira
