This was not a good night stay! My wife and I went to Walgreens for candles and a glade plugin for this mold smelling room. The bathroom was not clean, soap scum in the shower and heavy dust throughout the room. The tile in the bathroom was in need of repair. We refused to take a shower there. The lobby smelled like a mix of smoke and mold.

Decent size room and not the cleanest but good price the room... Jaccuci and pool a +++++... not much in surrounding area of hastings...

Everything was fine. The staff was very nice. The breakfast could use a little help. The powered eggs were sort of gross. Bakery was good. Sausages were good. Also, individual jellis would be preferred to a squeeze bottle of jelly. Coffe was good. Our only concern was the smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway and through our room door. There was a […] group of young people staying there and it might have come from them...but that might be an unfair assumption. Anyway...we're not used to smoke anymore and it's pretty annoying. The first thing you smelled when you entered the hotel is smoke. I believe because they have the smoking rooms downstairs for some poor reason? The room was clean but in bad need of repairs. The bed sagged in the middle, so these definitly weren't new beds. stayed here before sometime back and was as nice as before. Clean spacious room, great pool and hot tub. Can't believe some guests had complaints. Great breakfest buffet and very courtious attendents.

When entering the motel, we had to thread our way through guests - and the desk clerk -- who were smoking. Halls smelled of smoke also although we had a non-smoking room which was ok. Couple guys appeared to be drinking beer in the lobby-lounge, all of which didn't present a very good first impression.

It is hard to believe an national chain motel can have a two story motel but have no elevator.

Had to unplug frig because it was so loud. The TV didn't work but they tried unsuccessfully to fix so we were offer another room. With the air conditioner on, the room went from being too warm to too cold.

The Hotel Staff was wonderful, great reception very helpful staff. Breakfast was quite appropriate. Hot Tub was lukewarm but it was available till Midnight which is better than most places I have stayed in recently. Towel provided, big tub too... Bed was comfortable, I was able to sleep well. Nice, clean, friendly. Didn't spend much time in the hotel, but everything worked and was clean. Staff was very friendly.

Our room stunk of cigarette smoke even though we were supposed to be in a no smoking room. The sink had hair in it. The room is in desperate need of some paint and upgrading. We had to ask for towels. We were given only 3 hand towels and 1 washcloth - no bath towels. Pool area is nice and kids enjoyed swimming.

Nice lobby. We had a pet over 50lbs and they were very receptive. The additional cost was $15 per night. The room was in need of repairs especially the bathroom. The faucets were leaking and the finish peeling. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The beds were very comfortable. The pillows a little too large, but appreciated extra pillows that were on the king sized bed. Everything worked, location was great for an event we attended in Hastings. it met our needs and a little more.

Hotel was what you would expect for the rating. I thought it was close to a place we we're skiing but wasn't.

It was a non smoking room, but the room had a very strong smoke smell. The front reception area also had a strong smoke smell. the rest of the hotel was fine

THE ONLY THING WAS I WENT TO BREAKFAST AT ABOUT 9:00 AND THE FOOD WAS NOT HOT.

Strong smell of smoking in the main area of the motel. Room was clean and comfortable; the bed was fine but the pillows weren't comfortable. TV remote didn't work to turn on/off the TV and person at desk assisted us to see if a universal remote would work differently but it didn't.

This was an older hotel but was well maintained. friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast spread.

On a recent visit to relatives in Hastings, we stayed in this most comfortable hotel. It was quiet, had the most amazing breakfast in a charming eating area and a beautifully maintained pool and jacuzzi. The staff were warm, helpful and friendly.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. A good variety of options were available for breakfast. However, the parking spaces are narrow making parking somewhat challenging. The floor in the breakfast room needed to be swept. The room was clean but could benefit from being updated. Overall, this was an adequate "middle of the road" motel.

The room had a terrible smell of mildew when we came in. My friend has asthma and was really affected by this. It seemed the smell was originating from the bathroom - perhaps the shower curtain, not sure.

It seemed clear that the AmericInn was the best option in Hastings. The hotel across the street was nearly empty while the AmericInn was packed. With that said, the rooms were decent. The shower was small and could use a major remodel job, but it was tolerable. Worst part about the stay was the continental breakfast. Eggs were microwaved (didn't know […] they could taste so bad!), the jelly for toast was nasty and there was no fruit, not even the standard red apples and bruised bananas. Front desk staff were very nice though and the pool and hot tub were great. I wasn't expecting much for Hastings, so we weren't surprised by what we got. Lesa meira

We stayed one night in August, and found the staff to be friendly, and even though the hotel was full, we had a very quiet night. Room was clean and the breakfast was one of the better I have seen. A lot more than bagels and dry cereal. Hot actual breakfast food. Overall a very satisfactory stay.

There was not anyone at front desk at all times, no one watching the door, it made me feel like anyone could just walk in for no reason. People at the front door smoking and room still smelled like smoke.

For the price, I would stay here again if I had to. The breakfast was ready and waiting before the officially posted time which made us early risers happy. Good variety. Pool looked nice for family fun. Parking lot is small...especially when people park carelessly. Older decor - but didn't have a dirty 'feel' to it.

Liked the hotel. Pool and hot tub were very nice. Wall a/c unit could only go as low as 70. The location is great. Close to an awesome winery, tubing on a nearby river, there is a marina nearby with a nice beach, and best of all a great restaurant in Prescott where you can sit outside on one of their decks and have a great meal. The hotel was very comfortable and easy to get to. There were a good amount of restaurants nearby (especially Las Margaritas--definitely eat there), and a beautiful park down the street. The breakfasts were good, but not as varied as I have seen at other Americinns; would have really loved some fresh fruit. Room was fairly clean and comfortable. Pool was simple, safe, and clean. Rate was reasonable. When we arrived it took several minutes before anyone came to help us check-in (8pm with reservation). Later when we called the front desk with a question, no one answered, even though we let it ring 20 times. In the morning, we tried to call again with a different […] question, no answer. Then I walked down to the desk, and no one was around and I gave up after about 10 minutes of trying to get someone's attention. None of it made me mad, I just thought it was really weird. We woke up on Sunday morning to find that there were no hot water in our room. Rooms could also use an update. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very quiet. You can tell they are made well and insulated to minimize sound from other rooms. Had some smoke smell here and there but not too bad. Rooms may be a bit small but are just fine for traveling and a good night sleep. A good continental breakfast to start the day.

We were in Hastings because of a 90th birthday party in the family. We usually stay with family when visiting but needed to have an "off site" place available because of unpredictable changes in health needs of a family member. The hotel staff was extremely accomodating and helpful - even making available a suite at the last minute when another family […] member had sudden need. Breakfast hours were reasonable and the continental breakfast had fresh, healthy options available. Hours in the pool and spa were convenient. All in all, the Amerinn offered a welcome respite. Hastings fun little town w/ pretty falls at old mill site. Lots of nice antique shops downtown and an old grocery store with Lefsa and excellent potatis korv that's just like mama used to make.

The pool and lounge room were a great meeting area for parents to sit and relax. The staff were wonderful. I would stay again.

Sheets and bedspreads had holes in them from cigarette burns, bath tub had mildew and a big bathtub ring. It was the only room they had left and the town was full from a festival otherwise we would have demanded money back and gone somewhere else.

Everything about this place was top notch. Quick check in, clean room, great in-room jacuzzi. Lots of choices at breakfast.

Brought my dogs to an agility trial in the area and found the hotel to be just what we needed. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was more than expected. The staff was very friendly and willing to help. I did have an odd thing happen where my keys suddenly quit working in my room and side door - no matter how many new keys they gave me, […] they did not work. They quickly moved me to a nearby room that was just as comfortable as my other room. Keys worked there & for side door - strange. Will stay there again when I come back for the next agility trial! I had no issue with the hotel itself - it was clean, comfortable, the service was good, the continental breakfast was good. The issue that I did have was that the rate quoted by hotels.com - and the rate charged to our credit card - was higher than the rate we were quoted by the hotel itself.
