We (2 adults + 1 child) stayed here 3 days before our cruise from Rome (Civitavecchia) and 1 day after. Very pleased with the hotel and would come again. Staff pleasant and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms clean, tidy and spacious, high ceiling and interior oozes old classy charm. Free quite fast wi-fi internet for hotel guests. Good central location, close to Terminal station, 15-20 min walk to most of the famous sights. Breakfast buffet quite good and the coffee machine, although automatic, makes an almost perfect cappuchino... for us a BIG PLUS. Some nice restaurants in the vicinity like the Gallo Matto, 5 minutes walk down on Cavour. Just a little minus: Bed mattresses a bit hard for my taste, but slept well anyway.

Pros: - Great location (Colosseum, super market and good restaurants) - Friendly and very helpful staff. - Clean rooms - Computer with internet access in each room. Cons: The only cons that I can think of are: - Very little floor space to store luggage (Minor problem) - Breakfast was only a croissant and a water/cafe at a bakery near by. Would be great if there were some fruits as well. But this hotel is perfect for a couple that are looking for a relatively cheap hotel in a great location! I would recommend this hotel to any couple and if I go back to Rome I would use this hotel again.

Location was pretty good near the city center, about 10 min. bus ride. Staff was very helpful and kind. The room was very nice but the air conditioning was poor. Free internet connection, but it did not work in the room though.

Hotel is very nice, helpful staff and easy access to central Rome via metro or by foot. Taxi's are available accross Via Venuto (100 yards) which have fixed cost back to the airport (40 - 45 euro). Free wifi useful.
"Great stay"
Right in Via Veneto, this small hotel is perfectly located to all of the main sights in Rome. It's only a 10 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain with the Spanish steps on the way, and we even walked to the Vatican and Colloseum from here. Our room was small but perfect for 2 people, and a little more modern. They offer a free breakfast from 6:30-10:30am […] which was nice. I believe it's only a 3 star hotel because it's literally right. Next to a lap dance club, but besides that it was perfect! Wonderful staff who spoke English. Lesa meira

Modern clean rooms but tiny, no where for 3 pieces of luggage. Breakfast room also very small.

"Very helpful and would go back"
Everthing was very clean and staff were very helpful only thing I could say was the hotel was up a bit of a hill if anyone has breathing problems, but we did fing a short cut, would go back to hotel - enjoyed our little city break

went to rome last week end and spend 3 nigth at caprice hotel, very nice staff and they do speak english or french, very help full when you dont know any italian. the hotel was nice old world, but the sice of the room too, nice and clean room but very small, 2twin bed each fit for kids or skinny people (70cm wide for each bed). bath room was small […] too. but the location is excellent, you can walk every where, 15mn from termini, will i go back?? Отель мы бронировали заранее,отзывы об отеле на сайте не обманули!Итак,расположение отеля более чем хорошее, практически все достопримечательности в непосредственной близости,если нет,мы ездили в основном на такси, хотя станция метро находилась недалеко!В ближайшем расположении […] хорошие недорогие ресторанчики и более респектабельные, сотрудники отеля помогут и посоветуют!Самые теплые отзывы о сотрудниках отеля - милейшие, отзывчивые люди!Что по-моему очень важно!Номера маленькие,но чистые!Для тех кто ищет хорошее расположение по отличным ценам-отель весьма подходящий!!! "HOTEL CAPRICE"
El hotel está bien. Es sencillo pero más que suficiente. Lo peor, es lo pequeño que es el sitio para desayunar. Hay que hacer un poco de cola. El desayuno no ponen mucha variedad pero está muy bien. Las habitaciones, están bien, se duerme bien en la cama, poco o nada de ruido, bien ubicado y con servicio wifi e internet gratuitos, muy amables y habitaciones […] en buen estado, limpieza rápida y sencilla. Yo lo recomendaría para aquellas personas que no se quieran gastar mucho dinero y le guste la comodidad (término medio). Para mi, es más que suficiente para un viaje a Roma. Volvería a ir al mismo Hotel, sin ningún lugar a dudas. Lesa meira

"Hotel Caprice, Rome"
Pros: - Nice standard on the room itself. Small, but I guess that's as expected in Rome. The room felt new and fresh and it had a nice, calming view to a charming backyard. - The breakfast was as ok, and there was always enough food available. Breakfast is served for a long time - we appreciated the chance to sleep in a bit and still be able to hit […] breakfast. - The cleaning couldn't have been better. - Good location and neighborhood. Aprox 20 min walk to the Termini station. 5 min walk to the Spanish steps and to Villa Borghese (don't miss Villa Borghese - it's wonderful!). 3 min walk to Barberini metro. Taxis wait in line just up the street. We visited all the famous sites on foot and felt no need to use the metro etc. We felt safe around the hotel. The hotel is located in a quiet street - we didn't have any problems with noise. Expensive hotels and shops in the main street nearby. Ok selection of restaurants in the neighborhood, and even Hard Rock if you feel like taking a break from the more traditional food. - Friendly, service minded staff - Good value Cons: - We ordered seperate beds, but got a double bed. No explanation given. - The mini bar could have had better selection. - The wifi didn't worked well in our room (A stationary computer with Internet connection was available in the lobby, but the web browser on it is seriously outdated and the connection is very slow.) - The room where breakfast is served is very small, and too crowded with chairs and tables. Tout et bien mais la chambre et toute petite vous ouvrez la porte et vous avez le lit, il n'y a pas d'armoire et entre le lit et la salle de bain il faut pas être gros pour passer je mesure 1,56 et 50 KG et c'était limite pour moi....

Καλή τοποθεσία, καλή για τα δεδομένα της Ρώμης τιμή, μικρό αλλά καθαρό, πρόσφατα ανακαινισμένο δωμάτιο, εξυπηρετικό προσωπικό, μέτριο πρωινό, μικρό ασανσέρ, ο χώρος υποδοχής χρειάζεται ανακαίνιση.

"Der Aufenthalt war toll"
Beim Eingang waren wir noch etwas schockiert, da das Hotel überhaupt nicht so aussah wie auf den Fotos. Es gibt einen stinkenden Teppich und alles ist in Grün gehalten. Als wir dan aber im zweiten Stock aus dem Lift kamen, war alles super. Sehr schöner dunker Parkettboden, die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und alles ist da, was man braucht. "Hyggelig lite hotell"
Et sentralt hotell og lite gatestøy til en storby å være.. Kort vei til metro, Spansketrapp og diverse restauranter. Men hotellet bør skifte madrasser. De er steinharde!!!
Non fatevi ingannare dalle apparenze! A dispetto della prima impressione che si ha arrivando nell'hall dell'hotel, devo dire che le camere, pur non essendo particolarmente grandi, sono però veramante accoglienti,pulite e arredate con cura. "Kjempebra hotell i veldig hyggelig område."
Dette hotellet ligger i et rolig strøk sentral i Roma. Det er ikke noe problem å gå rundt i dette strøket seint på kvelden.

Un séjour très satisfaisant. Chbre refaite à neuf recemment et très design. Emplacement idéal, à deux pas de la piazza barberini et très bien desservi en bus pour les autres destinations. Quartier chic et calme : rue qui donne sur une perpendiculaire de la via veneto ( l'une des plus chic avenue de Rome). Petit dejeuner simple mais convenable pour le […] prix.
