Very comfortable. King size bed was a little tall for me - I'm 5'3" tall. Complimentary breakfast OK - wish they left cheese out of omeletes and perhaps offered on the side. Really like the city.

It was quite comfortable and had the handicap items I needed. The maintenance problem was the closet door that wouldn't open without much effort. It needed lubricated on the top slide. We also had to 'fix' the toilet ring because it was very loose - the housekeepers should have addressed that issue and either turned the wing nuts to tighten it or ask […] maintenance to do so. rooms were great, staff was friendly and helpful. breakfast was good, but staff got behind keeping up the food quantity. Loved the location. Wilsonville is a great little community.

Hotel was nice, the beds comfortable and it was remarkably quiet for being next to the freeway. I would stay there again.

Our family of four (two teenagers!) stayed in a room that had a king sized bed and a double bed. There was a half wall between; it doesn't seem like much, but it was nice to have that half wall. Here's why I particularly liked this room and this hotel. 1. Newer remodel to the premises. It was always nicer in its former life as a Hawthorn Inn & Suites, […] but Best Western has really chosen some warm, rich color schemes. Upgrades are well done. Digital television is a decent size. The sink/counter is OUTSIDE the bathroom (yea!), so someone can shower while someone else is getting ready outside the bathroom. Comfortable beds. 2. Indoor pool and spa. 3. Friendly support staff, from reception to housekeeping. 4. Continental breakfast: Eggs, waffles, country biscuits and gravy, assorted pastries. 5. Proximity to wine tasting in Newberg & Dundee. We didn't do that this weekend, but we have in the past and you'll enjoy the fact that you can stay on the I-5 corridor near food choices and be a short drive away from wine tasting bliss. 6. Two great restaurants within easy walking distance. The Ram is 1/4 mile away, and right across the street is a little tavern that serves great pizza. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is great. 7. Quiet, even though it's right off of I-5. Plenty of parking. Cons: 1. The main light switch is in a strange place. Always clean comfortable and a fantastic breakfast to boot! The staff is always ready to go the extra mile to accommodate their guest. Close to Portland and Bullwinkles Family Fun center makes this my favorite motel! I have stayed many times, Tammy at the front desk is fantastic. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay!

the room was great! tried to get pop from the vending machine on the 4th floor and the machine took my money....then had to go the front desk and get my money back. tried the vending machines in the lobby and same thing. the breakfast In the morning was good. I would.stayagain!

Our bed was broken. They upgraded us to a new room. It was a non smoking room that had been smoked in and the remote to the TV was in a 'disinfected' box to show it was cleaned and had chewing gum stuck to it.

the staff is quite friendly, and the rooms are clean and in good condition. The breakfast however is abysmal. I couldn't eat it.

The staff were all helpful & friendly, the room was large & clean. My only complaint is that the light in the bathroom is connected to the fan which is LOUD. it really dates the hotel. Otherwise a good place with good rates.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Better housekeeping needed fro our room. Long hairs in the bathtub and lint on the floors. Had to wait on breakfast as sausage, bacon and eggs were gone. We had a pleasant 2 nights stay at the Inn. The room was clean and comfortable. The selection at breakfast was very good: waffles, scramble eggs, bacons, sausages, yogourt, mini muffins, toasts, biscuits and gravy, coffee and juices. Our kids enjoys the indoor swimming pool. I have stayed at this hotel on multiple trips to Portland. The hotel is always quiet, clean and the breakfast is Fantastic! It is also just a few miles from Bullwinkles Family Fun Center so it makes the frequent trips to Portland enjoyable. The pool and hot tub are always clean and the service is the best. It's about what you would expect in terms of quality, bolstered by the large room size, which includes a small bar/counter, microwave and a couch, in addition to the bed. It was quiet, it was clean, and easy to find. Under new ownership. Many improvements in rooms. All employee's friendly and willing to provide assistance. Our room had a mechanical problem with a/c system. Front desk handled our request for a new room without any hesitation.

Made a quick trip to Canby. Wilsonville was nearby and convenient. The room was large with sofa, table, desk and 2 queens. 2 sinks wtth granite counters and separate from bath/shower. Nice decor. We had a large enough room - more than adequate enough for my friend and I to spread out all our bags and equipment. This is the only place that I've stayed where they have two luggage stands. Good lights for reading and needlework. Great beds - firm with a soft top layer - we slept very well which isn't always the case when you travel. The inn is next […] to I-5, but the inn is insulated so well you can hardly hear the freeway. The desk staff is very friendly and helpful with directions. They have fresh-baked cookies at night. Breakfast could use a little work - the organizationof the food area is chaotic. The toaster should be close to the bread, for example. And they ran out of eggs one morning and sausage the next. Close to great shopping. Free WiFi, breakfast, and morning newspaper. Clean modern rooms. Comfy beds. Nice to have a mini fridge in the room. Our first time staying here and we would absolutely stay again on our next trip to the Portland area.

The 'suite' that we had consisted of a regular room with a 4 ft divider between the bed and the couch. The couch was uncomfortable and had no stands to set beverages on while sitting on it. However the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small with only about 6 inches between the vanity and the toilet making it difficult to stand in front of the mirror […] to do hair and makeup. There was a soccer tournament in town so the Hotel was full of 8-10 year old girls running up and down the stairs and hallway keeping us awake until late. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a breakfast room which had a variety of choices. I liked how it was manned 24 hrs a day. We were able to launder our clothes before we departed on our next destination. The hotel was close to all shops and places to eat. Will definitely stay again.

While the room was spacious, even on the 3rd floor it was noisy and the air conditioning was weak. The Breakfast was so poor that after the first morning, we drove to a nearby Starbucks and cafe instead. The staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful, but they had little control to change/fix anything.

Maybe it was just the bad timing but our stay was pretty much not good. When we first arrived we got totally unpacked and then discovered one of our beds was broken. We had to move to another room. There was construction going on in the swimming pool so we weren't able to use it. (nobody ever warned us of that fact). One day after a game we came back […] to take a nap before the next game and the maintainence crew woke us 3 times to come into the room to change out lamps, change the some furniture and coffee pot. It seems there should have been a better plan. Maybe do all work on a few rooms at a time rather than inconvenience that entire hotel at sporadic times. My 100 lb daughter dove onto the bed and the corner broke just like the bed that was broken in our first room. Not a very good experience there. I don't think we will be going back to that hotel for the tournament next year. I also heard one workers of the hotel quit right in the middle of the lobby when there were lots of people around. We checked in and we were not notified that the pool was underconstruction (one of the reasons we booked out 13 girl softball teamthere) once we checked in we went to our room to find house keeping in the room still. 15 minutes later, room was finally ready. after going in it wasn't the room we booked. back to the lobby for 25min to talk to someone, […] 4 people behind counter only 1 acually working. Find out that they over booked and we were going to have to wait to get a room that we acually booked. After finally getting to our room (1 hour after checking in#. The hall and room smelled like cigerettes. We went to our use the ice machine #it was broke). We had to go up 2 floors to get ice. At 10 pm there was a note put under the door that they would be coming in to do maintnance on the room between 9am to 6pm. Thought that was rediculous when all they wanted to do was add new bed skirts and comforters, do that when house keeping is there before checking out the room. Later that day the contractors asked my 16 year old daughter to come in the room to add a closet door. Very unappropriate. All 3 mornings we were there there wasn't enough food to feed a family of 10 let along a over booked hotel with teenagers there for a National SOftball Tourney. I just feel that the hotel should have decided to close for a couple days instead of taking away the manners and benefits the hotel was supose to offer. I will not recommend or ever stay at this establishment again. Lesa meira

This was for a group/team traveling to the Fast Pitch Nationals, which is an annual event. Hotel is in a great location & if it wasn't for the renovations taking place - closed pool, soft goods being changed out, branding being changed - the experience would have been better. No communication from either the hotel or the booking system to inform us […] that the pool would be closed & people would be going into our room to change out things - as well as other renovations in order to change it to a Best Western. The hotel has recently been renovated. My room was nice and quite comfortable. It did smell strongly of new paint and carpet. I am sure this will pass over time.

There are some issues with this hotel, but the bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, the internet worked well and its reasonably close to everything Portland if you are here for business or on a budget. Don't get your hopes up about the included breakfast...they have lots of equipment but little food. It's mostly coffee, cereal and some Costco muffins. […] BUT, for the price the room was quite large, came with a couch, a microwave and fridge, a decent TV and while it wasn't spotless, it was pretty dang clean.
