Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Frackville – Frackville

Was in town for the Yuengling Lager Jogger, the hotel was just a short drive away. Our room was large, comfortable, clean and quite. I would definitely stay here again.

I've stayed here several times on my way north - each time it was just what the doctor ordered. Clean, friendly, comfortable, reliably good. It's right off the highway but still a little hard to find (make one of the first turns off the curvy road towards the Cracker Barrel - do not go by your GPS instructions).

Hotel was very clean. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was good and fresh. Having a microwave, fridge and coffee mnaker in the room was a plus. Will definitely stay there again.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites are usually clean and pleasant, just like the one at Frackville. However, several amenities simply stood out as acceptional. Cracker Barrel was in the same parking lot which made dinner so easy. The staff was outstanding. The lady taking care of breakfast even wrapped the fruit in cellophane to make an easy snack later...how […] thoughtful! In addition, in the lobby someone has put together a scrapbook of local attractions and history...how thoughtful again. AND FINALLY, at the door, they set out two baskets: one for clean towels and one for wet towels so that motorcyclists could dry off after an afternoon of showers...so very thoughtful. Lesa meira

It was pleasant, and very clean. The bedding is soft and comfortable. Nice breakfast in the morning, and Crackerbarrel restaurant/store in same parking lot. Will go there again.

I thought this hotel was very nice; modern inside with all the amentities and also very clean. I did find the price a little high for the area it was in; basically a very depressed region. Great hotel, everything else is fine, nice having a soft and firm pillows. Pretty good breakfast selection. My future son in law loved it! The room is clean just what we expected in every Holiday Express Inn we stayed in. Our hotel experience was great. The room was big - two queen-size beds - plus we fit a crib in there, which we received as soon as we asked for it. The breakfast buffet was well-stocked and had about everything you would ever want for breakfast. Parking was great, the exercise room was very nice, but the spa was being redone to meet new ADA requirements. […] They even have a meeting room, which we might check out the next time we are there. The WIFI worked without any problems. The staff was professional and friendly. The maid service was great, too. The location is extremely safe and there's even a Cracker Barrel restaurant right across from the hotel, plus there's a McDonald's and a mall nearby. Nice hotel, looks clean in appearance. Customer service and friendliness within the staff is lacking. Most Holiday Inn allow late check outs however this one only allowed an hour and then after that hour they will be calling and making threats to charge you for a half or another day. i was approached as if i were a person trying to get a free room, when i was trying to ask for manager so i may ask for a extended stay price, they told me manager wont negociate with you or any one for that matter, wasnt to happy with the front desk, and as for leaving my number so the manager can call me when she gets back in town or so i was told […] that never happened, so if i were to rate on managers lack of leadership , i would say very bad you always should try to my your guest feel at home Lesa meira

We stayed at this hotel while hurricane Irene was hitting the NYC area. It was a great place to stay; its elevation was high so it met our needs of avoiding flooding! There is a Cracker Barrel restaurant in the parking lot of the hotel so we could walk to meals. The only problem was intermittent internet, but that was likely due to the hurricane.

We went here for a weekend out of our town. It is in a great location, with many things to do within a 1 to 2 hour radius. We visited Knoebels, Roadside America, and Crystal Cave. It was a very enjoyable weekend. The rooms were comfortable and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely return to this hotel; it was very relaxing.

Nothing exceptional about this place. The elevator could not be used which was a hassle and the clothes dryer was very slow. The staff was very friendly and helpful and there is a decent restaurant in the parking lot.

The only negative thing I can say about this hotel was that the elevator was not working when we were there. Luckily its only 3 stories, but it was still a pain to carry everything up to the 3rd floor. I booked the handicapped accessible room for my aging parents as my Dad is blind. It was a great bathroom with lots of room and a seat in the shower with appropriate shower head. Very helpful! Breakfast was very adequate and staff were helpful. We will stay here again.

The HIE Hotel in Frackville is at the intersection of I-81 and PA-61, just north of Pottsville. There's a small Mall and a Craker Barrel adjacent to the property. Quiet Neighborhood, Mall Shopping, Contents of room, Hair Dryer, Ironing Board and Iron, Coffee in Room, Microwave, Refrigerator, Nice Room a place to get a restfull sleep. Only negative, you can hear from the room above when they get up in the morning. Best Plus of all, a fantastic breakfast to start your day.
