This hotel is fine but not great. The rooms are spacious and clean. The airconditioning was not great and the sleepless comfort mattress were really uncomfortable beacause they didn´t work and the highest point in the bed was the middle. The swimmingpool is great and we really liked the free parkingspace. The only thing that we were really disapointed with was the free breakfast buffet. Really little to choose from and often it ran out and you had to wait for more. The last two days we went to have breakfast outside the hotel. But overall this hotel is nice and fine but not great.

The hotel and the breakfast that were provided were good. However, the hotel staff was inconsiderate and if I were to choose a hotel in this area again would probably stay elsewhere.

"Ayres Suites-great for Cal Poly"
Great location for Cal Poly-10 mins away and in much nicer neighborhood than those closer. No food/restaurant on site but are some just down the street.
This is the scond or third time I have stayed there and I have found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. If you stay on the backside you have a nice vista of the golf course, the pool is small but very comfortable since it's heated you can just lay back and relax. Thare are places to eat very near by. The room is also equiped with a microwave oven and a ipod charger. The warm breakfast in the morning was great! Its a convinence location, quiet but at the same time close enough supermarkets and resturants
"Beautiful Surroundings, but not close to eats..."
Beautiful surroundings, but main thing is it is not close to many eateries. There is a chilis up the road, but not much else. However, for the price and beauty, the stay was worth the extra drive to anything decent to eat, or anything fun to do.

The staff was friendlier than any other hotel I have ever stayed (and I travel a lot). The room was very clean. The only complaint is that the headboard to the bed was very squeaky. Every time I moved it squeaked. But I would stay here again and hope to get another room.

Location is ok, you have to drive to restaurants not much within walking distance. Check-in was quick and easy, room was nice and clean, staff seemed very friendly. Breakfast was very good. I will stay there again.

I thought that the suites were two rooms, but they are not. The room is nice though. Clean, good bed, fridge, coffee pot, TV, free internet... There is no bar on site to relax. So you will need to go down a block or two to the commercial area. Even though this hotel is on the freeway, there was no noise. Free parking is good. Overall, this is a very […] nice place to stay. "nice place"
The staffs are friendly and helpful. I arrived @12noon they have the room already for me to check in. Nice size room. Very convenient location.
We are enjoyed this hotel a lot. First time trying out this chain and find it thoughtful, elegant and efficient. The breakfast bar with a chef preparing it hot is a nice touch. Though the chef and kitchen crew can be a bit more cheerful and friendly. Beds are comfortable and the decor is clasic, water pressure is great. I booked two rooms and they put us in two different floors. Until I ask them if it is possible to put us in the same floor, then he checked the availability. Also, the AC was leaking water. However, their maintenace dept. work really late so they switch us to another room and fixed the light in the new room. "Nice hotel"
Stayed at the Ayres Suites while in town attending a friend's wedding and it worked out perfectly in terms of location for us, but regardless it's location right by the highway placed it perfectly for getting around easily. Area itself was nice and quiet. Room was very comfortable, and the staff very helpful.
"Pretty good choice"
I would recommend this hotel except I expected room service. They do have a good breakfast with eggs, hashbrowns and pancakes in the morning so I guess its ok, but the breakfast was free to hotel guests. Nice rooms, clean and had fridge and microwave.

Great service. We were first given a room on another floor from our group, but were quickly switched since a room was available on their floor. Breakfast was terrific. It was cooked to order with large portions. We would definitely stay here again.

I arrive at the Ayers and was greeted in a professional manner by the staff. I have stayed at this hotel before and had enjoyed it. I advised the front desk that I had booked the room online. The clerk wanted the credit card in which is normal when you stay at any hotel. When we checked out I noticed that she had chaged the room rate I inquired about […] the charge she stated that my card wasn't charge just ran for the room amount. I found out that monday that they did charge me again for the room and I had to call several times before the matter was corrected and I stated that I would call the corporate office if they didn't address the situation. It took the end of the week for my account to be credited and they didn't offer any types of accomdations for the problem they created. The chef wasn't friendly and couldn't understand english and when he didn't understand other guest requests he seem upset. He displyed that emotion with us. I hope that the ayers management re evaluate and correctand make this hotel that we enjoyed when I was there years ago. Lesa meira

"Great hotel!"
Beds were super comfortable and the size of the rooms are perfect with enough room that we did not feel overcrowded. Breakfast was awesome (chef was not very friendly though). I would reccommend this hotel and would stay again.
"Great room for the price"
We traveled with our kids, one with autism...everything was great. The food and the simple touches were wonderful. Plus we had a view of the 18th hole, my husband enjoyed that! Definatley would recommend!

The hotel had a great room. Comfy bed, nice couch with coffee table, small dining table with 2 comfy chairs, a desk with chair, and a wet bar (unstocked) with microwave and minifridge. I loved that there were two sinks and that the bathroom sink was outside the bath/shower/toilet area door so I could get ready while my husband was taking a shower. The […] hotel was very clean and in good condition. It was right next to the freeway so it's noisy outside but the rooms are very quiet inside. The free breakfast was good...cereal, baked goods, fruit, pancakes, and made-to-order eggs. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat, especially at the price we paid. The staff was friendly too. El hotel tiene buen mantenimiento. los cuartos un poco ruidosos por el freeway. El desayuno es bastante aceptable.
