Frábær staðsettning í göngufæri við helstu merkisstaði og söfn Wasingtons. Herbergin rúmgóð og hlíleg, Morgunverðarborðið eitt það allrabesta sem fyrir finnst í Bandaríkjunum. Starfsfólkið hjálplegt og yndislegt í alla staði. Mæli með þessu eindregið.

"Mæli með þessu Hoteli"Metið af Samúel JS frá "Reykjavík" þann 7. nóv. 2011
Gisti í eina nótt og herbergið var mjög stórt og vel útbúið, nánast eins og svíta! Gott stórt rúm og fínt bað/sturta, stór sturtuhaus. Góður klæðaskápur m straubretti og járni. Ísskápur og kaffivél. Skrifborð og stóll og tölvusamband gott. Setustofa með sófasetti og allt mjög rúmgott og snyrtilegt. Mæli hiklaust með þessu hóteli og mun leita eftir Hyatt Place ef ég þarf í framtíð. Verðið var mjög sanngjarnt.
Mögulegt er að gjalds verði krafist fyrir aukagesti. Slíkt fer eftir stefnu hvers hótels fyrir sig.
Krafist er skilríkja með mynd og kreditkorts eða innborgunar við innritun vegna tilfallandi gjalda.
Það fer eftir framboði hverju sinni hvort hægt sé að verða við séróskum og þær gætu haft í för með sér aukagjald. Ekki er hægt að tryggja að hægt sé að verða við viðkomandi óskum.
Ekki er boðið upp á aðgengi fyrir fatlaða á þessu hóteli. Vinsamlegast veldu annað hótel ef þú vilt bóka herbergi með aðgengi fyrir fatlaða.

"Hotel in Fairfax close to INOVA hospital"
This hotel is very convenient to INOVA hospital; 3 blocks away. It is also 3 blocks away from restaurants. It is not a 5 star but you get what you pay for. Clean, safe.

"Disapointed"
The front desk person was a good guy and very polite. The room however was filthy. Sticky floor, moldy shower tiles, cigarette burned sink, stained walls (didn't want to get to close a look to see with what), and slow draining shower drain.
All i can say is Springy bed.

I was scheduled for surgery at the nearby hospital...and it was just that....right down the street. I had to be there at 6:00 am. The location gave me a few extra winks and I was there with time to spare.

"Homestead - Falls Church"
The Homestead is a great idea - full kitchen was helpful, room was nice and quiet so no thin wall syndrome. Coffee included and soap, but no shampoo so luckily I brought some. Good value!

"Convenient & Affordable"
Nothing bad to say about my stay at the Homestead Extended Stay hotel. Very affordable for DC hotels, well-kept, and friendly staff.
"Don't stay here!"
Bathroom floor filthy and had not been cleaned in a long time. Carpet had not been vacuumed. Property is right next to a hospital so sirens blared all night. AC extremely noisy. Blanket only covered half the bed (didn't need it but really???). No toiletries in room or available. Desk clerk said they had not been ordered. Room needed to be updated. Room was marginal at best. Closet door was missing and no toilet paper in the bathroom had to call front dest. Room was not clean. Will not stay at this hotel again.
"Don't have housekeeping service"
This hotel DOESN'T HAVE HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE !!!! unless your stay be more than 5 days... and also you will be charged for the wi-fi internet. The carpet was really dirty. So disappointed. This is not about rates, but cleanless means HEALTH.

It was easy to find. Staff was really friendly. Room was clean the tables could do with a clean had some stick stuff on . Room was good we only needed it for one night . Over all was not a bad stay at all ! Close to the metro and the mall !

not given 2 double beds as promised on booking but One king with sofa bed was ok. Internet was available on charge.

There was nothing wrong with the motel or the room...it was exactly what you would expect from an extended stay motel. The bed was hard as a rock, the room was tiny and the bathroom was in the kitchen. I wouldn't recommend this place if you plan on staying more than one night...gave me the creeps.

"Not bad for my business trip"
The location was nice for business in Fairfax, and the free pass to the Gold's gym was a nice plus for me.
"Horrible Customer Service"
We were forced to wait 15 minutes for a staff member to check us in with no explanation given. The staff member on duty simply stayed in the back after acknowledging our walking in for 15 minutes before checking us in despite the fact we were the only people there. No apology was offered either then or at checkout.

Bad sheets, bad bed, remote control not working. Not very comfortable overall. The hotel was in a convenient location and the fact that the room had a kitchen was nice although I was unable to use it. Primary problem was an uncomfortable bed. Investment in some decent sheets would go a long way.

Entrance ramp off freeway was a bit tricky to navigate, and our non-smoking room (not promised apparently) had been given away, but our room was not smoky.

"Arlington, VA area visit"
This location was convenient to areas I was visiting for a short period. They have kitchen facilities and access to a gym which can make longer stays nice. The rates were competitive with the region and access to the major roadways makes it a great jumping off point to travel the region.

The hotel is clean, but was out of date. I would have prefered to stay downtown, but all the reasonably priced rooms where booked.

"Fairfax Homesead-Big Fat Dud"
They booked me in a smoking room, which I DID not reserve. Why would I? I have breathing problems, allergies and DONOTSMOKE! The clerk, assisant manager and general manager were NOT accomodating. In fact the general manager had a very nasty attitude. The hotel was less than acceptable, aside from the fact that they refused to refund my money or move […] me to another room. The walkways to the rooms smelled like filth an urine. I requested clean, unsmoky linen and received major attitude. I had to go to a store and buy a blanket so I wouldn't die from the smoky sheets. The hotel was convenient to the city of Fairfax as well being a short drive to Washington D.C. There were no frills, but the price was reasonable.
A fairly unpleasant hotel. The air conditioner vibrated all night keeping me up.

The shower in our room did not work. Desk clerk was told early in the morning, but when we returned late that same day, we noticed it had not been repaired. Was forced to change rooms. The new room was adequate.

"Lousy"
This hotel was a dump. I accidentally booked Homestead Suites instead of another hotel with a very similiar name also in Merrifield, Virginia. The hotel is run down, the entrance to the room was dark plaster was peeling off the walls, the tv picture was lousy and the bed was uncomfortable.

"Great room, Great location"
The only downside of this hotel was the bed was a little hard. Other than that it was great! It was very close to the metro station and some great restaurants were within a 5 min drive. The metro ride into DC was only 20min and was very easy to navigate for a first time rider. we will definitely stay at this hotel in the future.
