Holiday Inn Express & Suites DFW-Grapevine – Grapevine

Our door did not lock from the outside. We reported it and they did not fix it and we had to report it again. I was disappointd by only receiving a sorry upon our leaving. If we had things stolen would it have been our fault, since the did notjing to repair the door.

Great location. We weren't too far from Six Flags (20 minutes?). Excellent restaurants nearby. Highway construction was awful (stay on the access roads), but we found it easy enough. Clean rooms that had a nice bed along with a sofa bed which was good enough for the kids. Kids enjoyed the outdoor pool. Got a great price. Would definitely stay here  […] again. Lesa meira

TV didn't work, Coffee was horrible, breakfast was worse. Every HI Express that I have stayed in has the worst breakfast. School cafeterias can make a better breakfast, knock a few bucks off the room and ditch the breakfast if that is the best that you can do

The ac unit in the room blew very humid air that was not cooling properly. I did not sleep well and ended up feeling on my legs not 1 but 2 dirty socks in the bed with me. I took them to the manager the next morning. The said they would check when it was cleaned last. Really? Who cares. It was not clean and I paid for it. I want to thank the Holiday Inn Express staff for their excellent professional service. I was attending business meetings in Grapevine & had the SCI banquet at the Embassy Hotel on Saturday. The Hotel's shuttle took me everywhere I needed to go. Very friendly staff, felt at home, they attended to my every need. With all the construction in the area, the hotel wasn't easy to get to. When we arrived to check in, we had to wait 15-20 minutes because the information the hotel received from the travel site we booked the room on was incorrect. Was in town for business. I chose this hotel because the construction near the airport and Grapevine is terrible and it is too difficult to navigate in a rental car when you not familiar with the area. This hotel has a free local shuttle, which we used each day to get to our local office. Did not have to pay for a rental car or a taxi. The front desk […] staff was helpful and the shuttle driver was very accommodating! Nothing to complain about in the rooms, they were clean and comfortable, but nothing special. All we needed for business travel. Morning breakfast was good, some hot food and better than most. Will definitely stay here again when in town. Lesa meira

First they had us list under the wrong first name! Then our GPS would not pick up on the listed hotel's address and therefore it took us one and half hours to find the hotel after we got in town. All of this after we had driven seven hours to get there did not leave us very happy! We almost missed the wedding that we came for. Too hidden behind Hilton. Very difficult to locate - not enough signage. Also, would not compute in my navigation system - would have taken us to Lubbock instead of Grapevine. Otherwise, our stay was great.

It was great with one exception, the front desk person was not over friendly. The covenience of the location was AWESOME, rooms clean and great coffee.

The hotel is in Grapevine, not in Irving.

We have two items. 1. the refrigerator did not work. It was replaced the next day. 2. Plumbing in the shower was leaking quite a bit, we forgot to let the front desk know about this after we sign out. We are sorry about that. Not sure how often these item are checked? I called QC Quality Control. Thank you.

I booked a room for 5 people and when we checked in we were in a room with only two queen beds. I was expecting a pull out couch but no such luck. We just impervised and purchased an air mattress for the 5 th person. Staff was really friendly and tried to accomadate us, I didn't realize this wasn't a Holiday inn Express inn only no suites.

We stayed one night with 3 children. The check-in was fast and easy, with happy service. Breakfast was nothing special, but was good. Our room was clean, neat, and comfortable beds. Staff was friendly and all guests seemed happy!! Only con was the construction around hotel and Grapevine...a nightmare

Loved how close airport, shopping, and eating place were. Construction was not a plus, but once you get your bearings easily overcome. The pool area was awesome!! Restroom right there, so no running in and out when wet. Very secure area. Even other guest seemed happy. Ladies at counter very nice and helpful, also quick. clean, excellent customer service, great breakfast, the sofa bed was not comfortable at all, and the pool was too warm but still relaxing, good food found at walking distance, there was no access to the interstate and we lost an hour finding our way out of town due to extreme road construction...

I was VERY pleased with our stay at Holiday Inn Express in Grapevine, once I found it. The Hilton Garden Inn had recently built in front of it so it was nestled behind it. The staff, especially the evening person at the counter and the evening shuttle driver were outstanding. I really liked that the shuttle was available to drop us off places and then […] would pick us up when we called. One evening they dropped us at a winery for Rhythm & Wine. Another time they dropped us downtown and we called when we were ready for pickup. Everything is really close by but all the road construction made the shuttle even more valuable. Loved the location not far from Texas Motor Speedway. Very nice rooms and the breakfast in the morning were awesome. You couldn't ask for more!! Loved it and hope to be back next year.

It is not the hotel's fault in the least, of course, but guests driving themselves should be aware that the construction on Hwys 114 and 121 is a nightmare! It was very difficult to find our way into the hotel parking lot. I'm sure once it is done, it will be just fine, but for now, allow a little extra time to find the place if you are not familiar […] with the area, especially if you will be arriving at night in the dark. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was pretty good. The shower was wonderful. Very good location for restaurants and DFW. My only disappointment was the bed. It was very uncomfortable and I didn't sleep well. And I thought I paid too much to not get a comfortable bed. So, I probably will look for a Courtyard […] Mariott close to DFW to stay in next time. Good hotel - nice, clean, great staff, conveniently located near DFW airport. Overall, the hotel is great. My only complaint is the breakfast. If feels cheap and the quality of the product reminds me of an elementary school cafeteria. Otherwise, it is fine, especially for a quick business trip.

Location is close to all the locations we wanted to visit while in the area for the Cotton Bowl, which included Historic Downtown Grapevine. We did not fly in, but would be a perfect location if traveling by air. Hiway 360 was close which made for an easy access to Rangers Stadium and Cowboys Stadium which we drove to for a Pep Rally and the Game. Fort […] Worth was fairly accessible also from this location. There was so much highway and other roadwork in the area, it was hard to navigate. The staff had to tell me where to look for the hotel, because it was "hidden" behind another hotel and the only marker was a small sign at car height at the parking lot.

This a great place to stay. Multiple dining options with in walking distance and just over the freeway from Main street in Grapevine. Road construction outside on the Freeway is brutal though. Waite till its over or risk getting stuck in hell.
