Front desk was awesome and very friendly and helpful. Nice view of the lake in the airport. The shuttle took us right to the airport the next morning.

Staff did excellent job of correcting error of booking our room which was already occupied. I was unable to enter room after multiple attempts by desk staff to validate entry card. Security was able to enter room, but someone was sleeping! Desk staff very apologetic and a different room was provided without issue.

After first staying at a "dump" in the area before our cruise, we stayed here after the cruise. What a nice change. The rooms were wonderful (like little apartments) and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only problem is that if you don't have a car, there is not anyplace to eat within walking distance. We arrived in Miami after taking a red eye flight from LAX and appreciated the complimentary dinner and beverage buffet. It was a welcome surprise. Hotel was well taken care of. Got a two bedroom suite and was very pleased with cleanliness. Some walking is needed to get to stores/food. Would stay again and recommend to others.

We stayed at the Blue Lagoon/Miami Airport Homewood Suites for one night before boarding our cruise. We really liked this hotel. It was clean, comfortable and a great place to hang out until we could leave to board our ship. When we arrived at 1:00 in the morning, we were pleasantly surprised to see the gift shop was open and we could buy sodas and […] snacks after our long flight to Miami. The room was VERY comfortable and quiet. The free breakfast is better than most places that offer breakfast as part of their package. Also, the hotel is located on water and my kids LOVED watching the fish and feeding the seagulls from the back patio (which kept them entertained until we could go to the ship). We ended up stuck in Miami overnight due to flight delays, so booked this hotel due to it's proximity to the airport. They have a free shuttle, which is wonderful and the staff was very friendly. It was nice, clean and quiet, and had a good breakfast.

Not worth the price and not recommend anyone to stay there. It is too far out of town. Front office personnel would rather provide maps than answer any questions or invest time in providing information. Breakfast was a tragic experience from all points of view, surely not worth the cost at all and a bad experience. Mattress need to be changed, for sure, […] way too soft. This hotel was great! The food was fantastic and all staff were super especially Rick who was full of information and always there. We enjoyed the super great breakfast every morning and the welcome supper was an added bonus that made the day. The outside deck was so wonderful to be able to sit, take in the exquisite sunsets and see the Huge carp and […] some turtles. The room was clean but some maintainence was needed including a very noisey air conditioner! Nice flat screens in both rooms and nice kitchenette. Breakfast items were not restocked quickly enough with the high volume of people on either Sunday or Monday morning, but there was a nice variety of items, especially the hot items. Great coffee!

Three best thing about this hotel was its vicinity to the airport. Getting of a long flight and driving just ten minutes to the hotel was brilliant. The free breakfast was fine and the free evening meal was OK (free beer and wine too!) The pool was small but nice for a dip. There is a shopping complex within a 10 minute walk but otherwise you'll want […] a car. Its the right side of Miami for the zoo (which is great) but otherwise you'll need to go through downtown for most stuff and you don't really feel like you're in Miami while you're at the hotel. This was perfect for the five of us. We had to fly in from Cabo Mexico and California to meet in Miami, for a cruise. The airport hotel shuttle was 24/7 and very convenient. The room was updated, clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was almost perfect. Price was excellent. Thanks You!

Stayed at this Hotel the night before our cruise. Hotel was within walking distance of area restaurants and there were no safety concerns. The two bedroom suite was very spacious and more that adequate for our group. The only issue was with the shuttle service from the airport as there is no automatic service as with other hotels in the area. This hotel features 3 important advantages that the majority another ones don't have: spacious and complete suites, free parking with room for every guests and free and good breakfast. No problem if it is not in Miami Beach:just get your car and go everywhere. In january I did not have problems in find room in the parking lots.

We had booked a two bedroom with a king bed in each room but when arriving to the room found one bedroom had two double beds. Called down to the desk and were told they did not have rooms with two king beds available so sorry, no can do. Not a huge problem but would have been nice to be compensated somehow. Tile on the floor in kitchen were loose and […] stumbled more than once over them. There was also water leaking from somewhere in the kitchen and water on the floor. Called once again down to the desk and was told someone would be up to take a look. No one ever came to take a look. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean except for the mess in the kitchen. Only stayed one night pre-cruise so didn't really use the kitchen. Very nice and helpful hotel staff. Perfect place to stay ! My room was clean and what I really like in Homewood Suites Hotel is non smoking room. Delicious food ! ( breakfast and dinner ).Please check schedule because some days no dinner ) Hotel-key-card did not work properly.

This is a great hotel for overnight stays. The rooms are spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. Pamela was great I'm helping us arrange family tours during our stay. The airport shuttle was timely. The breakfast buffet was an added bonus.

Nice location, very close to MIA airport with a shuttle service even after midnight. Bedroom has a bad smell and sofa bed for children was not prepared even if we said that we will use it. Buffet breakfast was good, but organization was so-so as the hotel was crowded.

I've never stayed at a Homewood Suites and was veeerrry pleasantly surprised! Staff all friendly and helpful. Room was great! Great view from the deck you can eat on, of a lagoon. Only hotel I've ever seen with a nice grill for guests to use. Only hotel I've ever stayed at that not only had free breakfast, but Mon-Thurs., has free supper! Good meals […] too, not cheap! We had a group of 5 people and we stayed in a room designed for 4 people due to budget plan. They arranged an extra bed for us with no extra charges. The room is big and clean and the breakfast is the best I have ever had in a US hotel. The full size sofa bed can only sleep one person otherwise it can be quite uncomfortable. The hotel is conveniently located by Miami Airport. Although I did not use it, they offer shuttle service to and from airport. -- The staff is great! Respectful, friendly, helpful... I could not be more satisfied with the service I received. The rooms were nice and big. I could hear airplanes from airport, but this did not bother me much at all. -- […] Mondays thru Thursdays they offer complimentary dinner which includes wine and beer. The selection of food is limited, but included a complete meal: soup, salad, main entree, side and sometimes bread. -- Every day they offer complimentary breakfast, which includes 3 hot plates (such as: eggs, sausage, ham, potatoes, etc), cereal, oatmeal, breads and pastries, waffles of french toast, juices, yogurt, coffee. -- They have a fitness center, which has decent machines and we also used a guest laundry machines (bring coins), which came in very handy. -- The pool is outdoors, and it is ok. My kids loved it. -- Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. I am glad I read most reviews here in hotels.com and decided to stay @ Homewoods. The hotel in itself is nice, well-maintained and the room is large - more like a small apartment. The view on the lagoon was pleasant, and there was less noise than we expected. Our only disappointment was the area - most people choose the hotel because it's close to the airport, but we ended there by accident, and there is very little to do within […] walking distance. You need to walk at least 10 min to find a few shops and restaurants, and that's about it - you'll need to have a car or take a taxi if you want more options. Since there's also a small kitchen and a fridge in the room, we ended up cooking and/or ordering food, so that was OK in the end. The breakfast was good, plenty of choice and the atmosphere is friendly. There's an outside pool but it's not heated so it's was quite cold, though there is a warm jacuzzi nearby. Generally, the exterior and the lobby were very nice. The one bedroom suite we had was not as appealing as the lobby and the exterior. The living room suite area needed some upgrades. The breakfast was great!

The room was very clean. Although we did not use the kitchen area it was very nice to have it available. The pool area was very clean. I was not particularly impressed by the breakfast selection. We arrived at breakfast around 9:00 A.M. and it closed at 10:00 A.M.. Most of the hot selection available was gone, including the coffee. The other negative […] was trash someone had discarded at the elevator (that had some type of fishy smell to it) remained there overnight even though the housekeeping staff had been on the floor by the time we went to breakfast.
